If ever there was a false economy then these pens proved the point, you might think you are getting a bargian at only 4p a biro as you get ten of these pens in a pack, four blue, three black and three red pens in total for 40p so they appear to be cheap enough but the old adage "you get what you pay for" certainly rings true with these pans as a quarter of the pens did not work at all and went straight into the bin and those that did were not very nice to write with and did not last that long either.

They are pretty standard pens and are cheaply made, one of them has pratically disintegrated in the meaty hands of my other half when he gripped it too tightly, he was swearing at the time having done something wrong but it was not as if he was applying too much force. I also found the tips to be very severe and with the lack of flow of ink then in a couple of cases the paper got damaged, not a big issue as it was just things like shopping lists but it would have been a lot more annoying if it was a card or an officail form that I was signing or writing on.

The pens that did work ok were acceptable but the ink does not exactly flow and they are a little scratchy feeling. Out of all of them the red ink seemed to have the most depth to it, the balck was a little insipid and the blue pens were the most likely to fail with 50% of them n ot writing at all and one each of the other colours.

Personally these are not worth spending the money on them even if they are very cheap indeed, just think of the damage to the environment products like these cause given all the plastic and the waste of materials used to make them.
