... come in a bag rather than a dispenser. You will not be able to recycle any of this product, the bag has to be thrown away and the cups too but you can at least re use the cups. Washing them up just requires a little more care as they will split if you push too much weight down on them. Gently rub around the inside and outside of the cup to get dirt and grease off, then job done they're ready to use again. The cups do feel a little thin which means they're prone to cracking more, and I have had one cup crack a...more

Tesco Value Plastic Cups: The Cheap Chalice of Choice (521 words)

Tesco value plastic cups. A children's party just wouldn't be a party without a buffet supplying all sorts of orange- beige coloured food and a fine selection of flimsy plastic table wear so of course I couldn't let jack down and on his last birthday which was his firth one so I invited the thirty children from his class to celebrate with him. This wasn't as cheap as i had anticipated it would be so we had to cut a few corners with its such as serviettes and the plates and cups which is why I opted for the cheapest possible disposable cups and invested in these tesco value ones For 55 pence you get a fairly decent amount of 25 cups in the set. I am now buying and stocking up with plastic cups for the BBQ season which is not too far away and I buy these cups on a regular basis throughout the year as I entertain a lot and they are handy for the little ones and are a good price. I have lots of BBQs as I am lucky enough to have quite a large garden and also it is south facing too, so lots of sunshine in my garden to entertain in the summer months. I buy lots of shops own brands of cups as I find them very good value for money and I buy them on a regular basis from all shops. These cups are usually only priced at around 55p for a pack of 25. They are white in colour and they are stacked inside each ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Value Plastic Cups: Not the best quality but good for the price (388 words)

There are certain things which I'm just not willing to pay lots of money for. Things that are designed to be thrown out after being used once are one such thing. I have bought the Tesco value plastic cups loads of times and find them to be fine for what I expect of them for the money I pay. They only cost 55p for a pack of 25 cups so they are really cheap but they do the job and I really don't see the point in spending more on disposable cups when these ones work fine and are just going to be binned at the end of the day. For 55p you can't really expect a lot and as long as you realise that you aren't going to get really thick cups then you won't ...  Read the complete review

I purchased a packet of 25 plastic cups from the Tesco Value range for 55p in the run up to Christmas. These were by far the best value disposable cups I could find at around 2p per cup and as I really just needed them for a standby to offer guests if all other options were out (i.e. in the dishwasher), these suited my needs perfectly. As it worked out, I was glad to have purchased them as we had a few extra guests over the festive period. The cups come in simple packaging - stacked on top of each other and covered in a clear plastic bag with basic labelling. They are the same design as most plastic cups - with a ridged central area for added grip. They ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Value Plastic Cups: Ideal paint pots (499 words)

I bought these cups from Tesco as my daughter has some large bottles of poster paints and we didn't have anything to put them in and I thought since these were so low priced they were ideal and cheap enough to just throw in the bin afterwards. The cups are part of the Tesco Everyday range which used to be Tesco Value, you can buy a pack of 25 or a pack off 100. A pack of 25 cups costs 55p and a pack of 100 costs £2 so really you don't save much by buying the bigger pack unless you need more than 25 of course. The cups came packaged in a see through plastic wrapper which I still keep the remaining cups in to stop them ending up all over, on the ...  Read the complete review
