Tesco Value Plastic Cups
Advantages: good quality, easy to clean up
I sometimes find when having quite a lot of people round for parties or gatherings that you don't always have enough glasses to go round or don't always want to be cleaning up glasses all night if using a lot. There is a way round this hassle though and the simple answer is buying some plastic cups as the good thing with these is guests can drop them, put them in the bin afterwards, creating no washing up and no fear of smashed glass anywhere, it really is easy. The other perk is that these plastic cups can be purchased for such a cheap price and a really good buy are these Tesco Value plastic cups that are ridiculously cheap.
These cups come in either a pack of 25 or 100 which is great and they are all stacked up on top of eachother in a plastic sack. They have the Tesco logo on the front of them and are just white plastic cups, there is not much to the packaging, it is pretty plain but they are easy to find in the store. They are very light to hold and the quality seems fine on them when I drink out of them. For the price of these they are as good value as any others that I would find if I were to pay more. I find Tesco's Value range to be ok and on things like this, I don't expect much but they still do a good job and are compact with packaging.
TESCO VALUE PLASTIC CUPS
So, I tend to buy these in a pack of 100 if I am going to buy them and even if there are some left over, it is never really a big problem as these are quite handy to have in the house anyway. When opening the pack, these plastic cups feel lightweight but they are good quality, the plastic isn't too thin and they seem ok, like your average plastic cup can be. I prefer clear plastic to white as it looks a bit cheaper but that isn't a reason to not get them. They are handy for using at kids parties or even just for having people in the house. The only downside is they aren't as deep as the likes of a pint glass so won't hold as much drink but this isn't a big issue.
Upon filling these up, they hold the drink well and I have never had any issues with these leaking, they can break if not looked after but that is not something I have had happen yet. These should of course be kept away from any sources of heat or flames as these will melt. I think these cups come in handy for barbecues in the summertime as these are so easy to dispose of which is handy at a party as all cups can just be thrown in a bin and taken out of the way. I also think with these they take up less room and everyone can just help themselves. These could be useful for younger people as well so that they are safer for them to use with no dropping of glasses.
I think they serve their purpose, these are plastic cups and that is exactly what they do, they are lightweight to hold and are great for serving cold drinks. I wouldn't use these for hot drinks as they are not thick enough and would burn hands if there was hot liquid inside these. I have had a few packs of these now and haven't had any issues with them getting damaged or tearing. I love that I can just throw them all out when done and sometimes if I am being lazy I will use these in the house over a glass. There isn't really much more to continue on saying about these other than that they are of thick enough quality.
I recommend these for anyone who throws a lot of parties or anyone who has a lot of barbecues and hates washing up. If this is you then you will be grateful to have these cups in your house. Even families might use these for outdoor occasions or if you are on a picnic, there are so many uses for them. I think for the price these cost, these are great, not at all expensive and if you work out the price per cup it literally works out that these are 2.2p each which is so cheap! If you don't mind having white plastic cups on show at your next gathering then you should try these out as they are ok for a value range product.
These can be purchased in all Tesco stores and online where a pack of 25 will cost you just 55p. If you want a pack of 100 cups then you will be paying £2 which is slightly more but still not bad.
