Its always handy to have a box of matches hanging around the house. You never know when you might need one. Its coming into the winter time now, but during the summer when you might want to have a barbeque on some evenings, you need a box of matches to be able to get the barbecue lit. We have lighters in our house as well, but somehow it is always the matches we end up using instead. The younger ones in the family seem to find it easier to use matches than it is to use a lighter. Obviously you should always keep matches out of reach of children.

These matches are reasonably priced, they are under a £1 in most places. They can be bought from most places, you will find them in all the supermarkets. They are just 68p in Tesco and Asda. They are good quality matches, I know this from experience, and also because they are branded as being Appointment to H.M the Queen - so they are actually approved by royalty! In that case they must be pretty good then! There are tons of matches in the box and a box seems to last ages so they are good value for money.

These matches are easy to light and normally they light straight away with only one strike. Then you have enough time to put the match to whatever it is you want to light so as not to burn your fingers, because the flame burns down the match quite slowly. This makes them practical and also safe.

I would definitely recommend these matches, I have used other brands which cost about the same price, but these are always the ones that work best and the only brand I would consider buying again. As I say a box will last you ages and the matches are good quality and good value for money.
