warm and cosy
Member Name: plaxie
Advantages: Washes well, kepps you warm, nice fleecy feel
Disadvantages: way to big!
These blankets with sleeves are a practical way of keeping warm without the need to put the heating on. They are lovely and cosy and you can snuggle up in an armchair or sofa. It is huge which is helpful if your 6 foot tall not so much if your 5 foot nothing.
The slanket comes in a wide variety of colours and designs which is being constantly added to. It can be worn anyway you like with the opening at the front or back, though I think the opening is supposed to be at the back. The sleeves allow you the freedom of drinking, using remote etc without the hassle caused by a blanket. Apart from in summer this gets used daily, washed frequently and still looks like new after 4 years.
It is not recommended that you walk while wearing one of these, not a problem for me as I would never succeed due to the length. . I have a love hate relationship with my slanket its looks way worse than a dressing gown but is warmer, not something I would be happy wearing if visitors were coming. On a positive note I think they are better 'looking' that a onesie which is the latest craze.
The slanket can be bought for 17.95 from the original site. There are lots of cheaper copies appearing which may or may not work/wear as well. They also do a children's version which may be better for me!
