For years I have been a fan of the humble toasted sandwich - and used to possess a sandwich press which produced wonderful sandwiches but also a terrible mess. These black, teflon style bags are designed for making toasted sandwiches in a normal toaster. They cost us £4.99 from a shop called Robert Dyas in Chippenham for a pack of 2, and the same pack sells on the toastabags website for £4.88 so I think it's safe to say they sell around the £5 mark. They claim to be usable for 300 uses. We've used ours around 30 times so far with no signs of wear or tear. We bought them because we have a problem with mice. The joy of going on a diet these days usually means bread has to be cut back in some form of another, and for most people who own a toastie maker, it spells the end of toasties which have to be prepared coating the bread in oil or butter fat. No matter what the brand says in the user manual if the toastie machine has non-stick pads, it's ironic that you still have to apply butter or oil on the outer parts of the bread to minimise the product sticking to the plates. Toastabags are the best if you wanted to have a nice chesse and ham toasted. I bought mine from the 99p store you can buy these in lots of places now. When I got mine I had 2 in a packet so I left one in the kitchen and the other one went into my bag for work. They are great if you want a nice toasted at work. When I went into work with it every one wanted to get some. What can you have in them: You can put in any thing you want in the bags I love putting in cheese and ham I also like cheese and tomato in it.
