WHSmith 4 Highlighters
Advantages: Nice and bright
Disadvantages: None for me
With both myself and my husband doing home courses at the moment highlighters are something we always have in our house. We don't buy them from anywhere particular just wherever we happen to be shopping is fine. The ones we are currently using are from WH Smith and cost £4.19 for a pack of 4, I bought them from here because I had a money off coupon at the time.
The highlighters are just like any regular highlighter pen, they are of an average size and the colours are orange, pink yellow and green, the pens are plain with just WH Smith Highlighter written along it, nothing fancy. The ends of the highlighters are chiselled so you can get a wide line for highlighting the whole word or sentence or you can get a finer line if you just need to underline something. They have a simple black lid which poses no problems to remove and they are easy enough to grip.
I have been pleased with the WH Smith highlighter pens, the ink is nice and vivid and I can easily see the words through the ink. I find them so useful when I'm revising for my Open University course, I can use the highlighters either in my notes or directly in the text books. This makes it so easy to find what I looking for straight away.
I also use these around the home too, if there's a certain date on the calendar I need to remember I just highlight the date, I have all our families and friends birthdays highlighted, I find this is very helpful . I use this method if I have a bill I need to pay on a certain day or an appointment. I use different coloured highlighters for different things, the bright coloured blob on my calendar draws my eye to the date as a reminder.
All in all the WH Smith highlighters are good basic pens, they have many uses other than school and study, they can highlight the whole word or just underline something. We have had them a good 6 - 8 weeks and despite getting a lot of use they are still going strong, of course you do need to remember to put the lid back on every time you use them. If you are looking for highlighter pens then I can certainly recommend these from WH Smith.
Summary: Handy pens to have around the home
