Advantages: these are perfect for me!

Disadvantages: none!

Right, now 2013 has dawned upon me it is my new years resolution to be super organised especially with my finances. I have about 3 bank accounts: one for savings, one for bills (insert crying face here) and one for everyday expenditure/uneccesary shopping etc and whilst I was rather savvy last christmas with shopping early for gifts and making full use of Amazon vouchers this year I want to be one step even further ahead and actually be financially prepared as I am still feeling a bit of the pinch from splashing out a bit at the end of the 2012...ouch!

So last night, I cleared out a whole load of old papers and rubbish, and found some A4 binders from my uni days, and set about organising bills, bank statements, payslips and most importantly the documents for my daughter's trust fund. Whilst organising all these, I realised I wanted to be able to keep these in tact so it was a genius brain wave when out shopping today to buy some of these fab A4 File pockets.

The pack I bought, was a pack of 20 A4 file pockets for 99p, although there was an offer that 3 packs (essentially 60 pockets) would be for £2.49 but as trial and error I stuck with only the one pack. They come in quite basic clear packaging, bit updated to the picture above as the pack had a blue banner across saying what they are and that they are acid free, print safe (whatever that means!) and fits A4 Paper - 210 x 297mm.

The file pockets are the usual type, made of thin plastic, which is rather glossy and makes my papers inside look very sleek, shiny and well protected. There are numerous holes down the left hand side, 5 circular, and 6 slightly cylindrical holes, which the binder of my folder inserts through so the file pockets can be flicked through. It says in small font writing WHSmith vertically down the side of the pockets also.

Personally, I think these pockets are brilliant and do the job just perfect. I can fit in one pocket about 10 or so A4 sheets of paper like bank statements etc comfortably, with some receipts and it does not bulge or look overstretched. I am able to put labels on them and they stick easily and so I am able to organise my papers effectively. Overall for 99p for 20 (essentially 5p per pocket) these are an ideal buy for anyone wanting to get some nice protective sheets for their paperwork to go in an A4 folder!

Summary: does everything I'd expect my A4 file pocket to do...
