A stapler is one of those things that every house needs but will very rarely by one. This is because although they are used often they seem to last forever. I have had this stapler for at least 5 years. We bought it from WH Smith where we paid something like £3.99 for it, however of course this was some time ago so therefore the price is likely to have increased. However, looking on the website I can see that the exact stapler I have is being offered for the same price. In my opinion, £3.99 is very reasonable for a good quality stapler. Mine is different to that shown above, as is the version you can still buy today. It is a clear plastic so it ... Read the complete review

I purchased the stapler from local WHSmith store for £9.99. Although they had cheaper staplers available I didn't want anything too cheap that would break after a few times of using it. The money was coming out of work expenses anyway so I wasn't personally buying it, but I would be the main person using it. The stapler comes in one colour which is black and comes in a clear plastic box. The stapler is made from strong plastic and metal and has WHSmith in white one side of the stapler. The stapler comes pre-loaded with staplers but I decided to purchase some more anyway as the staples were on offer at the time. When taking the stapler out of the box it was ... I am a neat freak when it comes to documents and paper work. I have a filing system for all of the paper work I have for things like bills and insurances. A stapler is an essential part of keeping certain pieces of paper with others, I have this stapler from WH Smith. I can't remember how much I paid for my stapler exactly as I've had it from about three years now but I think it was around the £3 mark. It is available to purchase from WH Smith stores or online from their website. The stapler I have is a little different from the picture. Mine is transparent with no colour, the only thing it has is the WH Smith brand name. I personally love the see ... Read the complete review

I'm going to say that £9.99 for a stapler is really crazy. Now why would I go and do something crazy like spending my money like that? Year after year I walked around WHSmith stores in various branches around the UK and still couldn't find anything I wanted to spend my accumulated birthday gift vouchers on in their shops. Eventually, I decided to part with a ten pound voucher to make a small impact on spending my vouchers. For this reason alone, and a smidgen of insanity, I bought this stapler. There are many heavy duty staplers available in other places for as little as a couple of pounds. This WHSmith version ought to be the royal version of the stapler for ... Read the complete review

As someone who is always filing and storing paperwork, be it car insurance documents, tax forms, paid bills and receipts and also past coursework and essay assignments a stapler was an essential item for my home. I purchased my stapler from WHSmith about 2 years ago when we moved and I think at the time it cost around £3.99 but have seen stapler these days costing more! The stapler I have is transparent, with the words WHSmith written in white along the side. It is of course a manual stapler, so by pressing the head and the base together with sheets of paper in between it works to staple pages together securely and effectively. It is extremely durable and I ... Read the complete review
