Advantages: works well, well made.
Disadvantages: none for me
I bought my stapler from W.H Smith several months ago when the cheap model I was using failed to operate. I use a stapler fairly often as I like to keep important papers stapled together before filing them. I needed top replace the stapler quickly as I had lots of accommodation confirmation emails in connection with my trip to Australia. I decided to buy a more substantial stapler as I was fed up with the short life scan of cheap models.
The W.H Smith stapler I purchased looks different from the picture provided. My model is transparent and looks more funky than the usual black versions. It comes preloaded with 6 x 26 lots of stables and cost me just under £4. It is really easy to operate and doesn't require much of a push to deliver a stable in the right place. Unlike its cheaper rival, this stapler can cope with several sheets of paper . I have stapled up to 6 sheets with no problem.
My cheap staple was always jamming, requiring me to open it and remove the damaged staples. I have had no problem so far with my latest model. I have not used all the supplied staples yet,but replacements are available from W.H Smiths at a cost of £3.19 for 2,500 staples. The stapler is easy to open and the replacements simply slot in behind the spring.
Overall this is a really well made stapler that is well worth the increased price tag as far as I am concerned!
