I use this stuff for absoluely everything you can imagine. It smells great too, and lasts ages. I started using Zoflora when using bleach had started to effect my breathing, the ammonia would make my dog sneeze and would be weezing for hours. Having animals means that I like to use strong cleaners to combat any smells before they arise. I discovered this little gem one day and was a little suspicious about the claim it was `concentrated`, I had heard that before and still needed the same amount of the cleaner. Well I opened the lid to have a sniff and wow it seemed strong it is quite expensive at £2.65 for 250ml and £1.33 for 120ml but I thought it was worth a try and I was not sorry. This stuff is great and comes in a variety of fragrances so Im sure that you would find one that suits your home. I always have a selection under the sink so that I can change depending on my mood. There is lavender, citrus burst, linen fresh and sweet pea to name a few and I have found them all to have a very pleasant and fresh fragrence. This stuff cleans everything, the toilet, the floors, the animal areas and even the drains with excellent result and a very pleasant smell is left there. I also clean my bins and they smell beautiful after. I have started to put a few drops with water into a spray bottle so that it lasts even longer and is easier for cleaning counter tops. The instructions recommend 1-40 ratio of water and zoflora. It is toxic as is all cleaners but I not weeze anymore and the dog doesnt sneeze..bless him, and the stuff works great a lovely fresh clean smell. When people enter my home they always comment saying that smells nice what is it. The great thing about zoflora is you only need this one small bottle in the cupboard as opposed to four or five big bottle that in my opinion dont work nearly as well and cost a great deal more. I have on occasion used zoflora outside on the porch and garden patio and it had cleaned up all dirty and smells. I have used it my carpets with no problem and it safely and efficiently took out the unpleasant animal smell, which can build up, but before you try this I would do a tester spot. I dont want to be responsible for ruining your carpets. You can buy zoflora in any supermarket, wilkinsons or chemist. The bottle comes in box which varies in colour depending on the scent. However the Zoflora logo os green and very distinctive. They do a variety of other products including a very nice room spray, but I dont buy this very often because I tend to use it up to quickly and it can become expensive...lol. This is a lost treasure and very frugal. So definately a money saver!!
I first got into this brand years ago when I smelt a nice smell in the plasce I used to work, I asked what it was and was advised of this brand. I had never heard of them before. So what is this? Oddly enough it is an Antibacterial so a cleaning product. I have never bought this out of a Supermarket but would assume that it would be near the Bleach. Instead I always pick this up in savers and although that shop is a bit mish mash of products it is next to the sprays and Bleaches. This is a spray bottle but I remember that this came in a simple looking glass bottle - not sure if you still get it in a glass bottle thesedays. Then again with the glass bottle you had to dilute it in water whereas this one you just spray on like your normal spray on cleaning products. The last time I bought this a few months ago I think I paid about 79p for it, so it isn't expensive but this spray works out more expensive than diluting a few drops. A few squirts go a long way though. The scent of this is lovely. You cannot smell any kind of Bleach scent from this and this scent is light and airy. I would say this smells a bit like a fresh dewy morning and the scent lingers on my worktops as well although it dries quickly. It is safe to prepare food and that after using this too. A good brand which is that bit different to the normal boring cleaning products.
Zoflora is one of those brands I have seen on the cleaning isles of most supermarkets for years. It's probably the only one I haven't tried as well..until now. I originally popped into Superdrug (as I often do) for some antibacterial spray for my kitchen. The store near me has recently been 're styled' and they have started selling more household/cleaning products. I picked up some spray and next to it on the shelf was this Zoflora 'room spray'. At only 99p for a concentrated 100ml spray in 'Rain fresh' fragrance this sounded lovely so I bought some and headed home. The packaging~ Quite a nice looking bottle - clear plastic (with a white plastic spray nozzle) and a clear plastic lid. The spray is a pale yellow in colour and to be crude reminds me of the urine samples I had to do when I was pregnant (Sorry but it does!!). There is a paper label wrapped around the centre of the bottle with what it contains and how to use. How to use~ Now I was to understand that this was a room spray - as in an air freshener; so I was just about to spritz some in the air when I happened to see on the back of the bottle DIRECTIONS FOR USE. Can't be that hard? Just spray like you would a normal spray? Well this is where it get's complicated as according to the bottle it's an antibacterial spray to clean surfaces with; such as sinks, taps, etc. At first I was a little disappointed but then I thought I'd try it in my bathroom. First I used it on my tiles, then the taps and the toilet seat. After a wipe off everything gleamed and looked clean. The taps were so shiny and though I only used a small amount the entire bathroom smelt so fresh. Now this fragrance claims to be rain fresh but the aroma is very strong - it didn't smell lightly fragranced it was full on strong - nothing at all reminiscent of when it rains! That's not to say it was a bad thing as it does state it's concentrated and 'Big Power In A Little Bottle'- it certainly lives up to it's name there! It's ready to use which I like - no diluting in a bucket which is very convenient and is ideal for bathrooms and kitchens (mainly sinks, drains, taps, cisterns etc). What do I think?~ Well having been 'duped' into buying this thinking it was something else (well all I had to do was check the back of the bottle so Zoflora aren't entirely to blame) I was pleasantly surprised at what a brilliant little cleaning product this turned out to be! I would highly recommend this and I'm annoyed with myself I haven't tried it before. *Contains Water, Ethanol, Benzalkonium Chloride, Perfume, Surfactant and colours. *Washing hands after use is essential *Zoflora is made by Thornton & Ross Ltd Summery~ A handy little cleaning product that cleans and fragrances the air at the same time: 5 stars from me!
