++ My experience ++
I moved house and my new flat had carpets and furnishings already in but the first thing I thought of with having a toddler and it all being creams and biege is stain remover. Id tried afew of the cheaper brands before and they didnt really work so I thought Id try a brand recommended to me by my friend. When I was in wilkinsons I brought it for around £2.75 for 500ml spray, the exact price has slipped my mind but I know its around that mark.
It seemed no sooner had I brought the stain remover I needed it there was pink stain on the carpet where my daughters ribena left its mark so I applied it as it stated it worked on dried in stains. I found as my carpet was quite a long pile i had to do a second application which removed the stain very well. I found the spray easy to use and it didnt have a harmful affect on your skin as it got on my hands as I massaged the foam into the carpet. It left my carpet smelling fresh with a lemon flowery smell and has lasted me a long time since I purchased it and I have a toddler so thats saying some thing for how long it lasts.

++ The product ++
The 1001 trouble shooter spray comes in a yellow and blue container and clearly has '1001' in yellow with a blue background. It clearly states Stain remover for carpets and upholstery attacks stains and dirt fast.
On the back there is a description on what the product is used for and the ease in how the product works with out the need to vacuum.

++ How to use ++
Always test a hidden area for colour fastness before use. The spray is easy to use and the instructions are clearly laid out. It states you simply: Turn the nozzle to 'On', spray the foam directly on the area and avoid making the stained area too wet. Then massage the foam into the stained area from the outside working inwards with a damp colourfast cloth or sponge. Then blot any excess liquid with a dry cloth or kitchen towel and vacuum the treated area again when it has dried.
When using the spray for liquid spills simply blot the area with a kitchen towel or dry cloth to soak up any excess then use the above steps. Solid residues you need to scrape up any excess with a blunt knife then proceed with the stain remover and dry stains vacuum the affected area in order to remove any flakes before using the spray.

++ What its not for ++
The trouble shooter spray can be used for all sorts of fabrics and carpet but if the carpet colour has been affected then its not to be used along with on velvet type materials, brocade, rayon and any that are unsuitable for wet cleaning.

++ Would I recommend this product ++
Yes I would, I have found the product lasts a long time and leaves the carpet or fabric conditioned and clean. In my opinion because the spray turns to a foam that is massaged in it lasts longer as not too much spray is needed to perform the job as it expands to foam. For the cost and the quality of the product it gives fantastic results, leaves your carpet smelling fresh and doesnt break the bank which is what you need in a stain remover.

Summary: Brilliant stain remover thats reasonably priced, widely available and works with ease and speed
