Kiwi Colour Shine Instant Polish
by emmad5689 The majority of the shoes in our house are black leather and so we have to have a suitable polish to keep them looking neat and tidy, my husband has his usual tin of polish which he uses for a really good clean but I was getting sick of waiting for him to clean my boots and so bought this. I bought this from my local ... supermarket but you can buy it online, I think it cost me about £3 but it does last quite a long time, I have had this one a couple of months now and it still has plenty in it. The polish comes in a black plastic bottle which is shaped to make it comfortable to hold, I think it is great that the company has bothered to do this considering you only hold it for a minute of so, on the front it states superior shine and wax-rich polish. On the back it states deeper natural shine in an instant, thick wax formula to nourish and protect leather and unique long lasting double layer sponge with controlled doseage. The instructions for use are, "Shake well. Shoes must be clean and dry. Invert bottle and gently press applicator against shoe to release product. Spread polish evenly and allow drying to a shine. Rinse applicator after use." You twist the top to get to the sponge inside, the spinge is also black in colour and is shaped like a triangle with curved edges, the smell of the polish is pretty strong but I like the smell of polish so that's no problem. The applicator is easy to use and the polish comes out well without splashing all over, the applicator gives good coverage and the polish dries quickly so it doesn't matter if you are in a rush. The polish does dry to a slight shine but I would have expected more of a shine from the product, my shoes stay looking good for about a week and then I need to use the product again but i think this is acceptable and will continue buying it. Kiwi Parade Gloss Prestige Shoe Polish
by ruby_xo f you want to keep your real leather shoes in good condition then, as all shoe shops will tell you, you need to get some good shoe polish and polish them to keep them looking shiny and not only looking good, but also to keep them in good strong condition to stop them scuffing. You might think the sales people in the shoe shops are just ... trying to get you to spend more money in their shop but it really is true that you need shoe polish. It probably is cheaper to buy this online or in the supermarket than it is to get it from the shoe shop though as I've seen this in some shoe shops and they do overcharge, You should polish your shoes about once a week if you wear them every day. There are loads of shoe polishes out there. They are sold in supermarkets, in shoe shops, online etc. They are easy to get hold of. Kiwi is a well known brand of shoe polish and in my opinion it is the best. I have used loads of different shoe polishes over the years and this is the only one that I feel has actually produced some good results and has kept my shoes looking shinier for longer. It comes in a little round tub which is black and red, the lid of this is shown in the picture. The tub is only really small and fits in your pocket. It claims on the lid that this is 'The World's No1 Shoe Polish' - a high claim but I wouldn't disagree. Like I say I've never found another shoe polish which works as well as this one does. This is so easy to use. I use a rag as I find this easier. I rub the rag round the polish in a circular movement around the tub. Then I use this to polish the shoes. It really doesn't take long, a couple of minutes at the most if you don't have a lot of practice at polishing shoes. You soon pick it up. It doesn't take long for it to dry before you can wear the shoes. This is really reasonably priced as you can buy it in most places for about £1. This is a really good price especially considering this is the best shoe polish I have used. It really does work well too. It does a good job and without it I think most of my real leather shoes would be looking a lot scruffier right now, so I really do think this is an essential product for anyone who wears real leather shoes especially if you wear them a lot. This is available in all different colours but obviously if you have black shoes then you need this one, the black polish. Read the complete review |

Kiwi Parade Gloss Prestige Shoe Polish
by Paisley_Moon Stand By Your Beds! No.. I'm not of a military disposition, but with two boys at school age now the little un is in reception, or little school as I call it, our routine is like a well planned military campaign and part of this master plan is to ensure our boys turn up at school with nice shiny proper school shoes, so shoe ... polish is an essential purchase nowadays. I'm pretty sure that this is the same variety of polish that my mum used on my school shoes back in the day and it really does work miracles as both of my boys seem to scuff their shoes to the max, in fact I sometimes wonder if the older lad actually gets on the bus, or just holds onto the back and lets it drag him to school! No worries though as they are soon revived to former glories by applying some of this with a soft brush and then a good buff up with a stiff one, using a fair amount of elbow grease. I'd actually like to review elbow grease, but I can't find it on the Dooyoo product list.... Anyhoo, once done, let it dry and if you get any on your paws, I suggest you clean it off sharpish, unless you are wanting to join the black hand gang. I actually find, that given many years of experience, I make very little mess but if you're going to introduce this as a chore for a young un, then cover the entire room in old newspaper and have a hose ready outside to wash them down, unless it's just my son that can cause such carnage just polishing shoes. So, in my opinion this is a great product and should be kept in the cupboard under the sink in every home in the western world. Last time I made a purchase it cost £1.50 a for 50ml tin, which is nothing compared to the cost of decent school shoes. Available in Black, Dark Tan and Oxblood. Oh, and it's water resistant. 5 Stars. Thanks for reading, Moon Out Read the complete review |
