Disadvantages: None at all
For a long time now I have been using Persil washing up liquid, which not only do I find a really good product but that its kind to my hands too. Often I used to find it on offer at about a pound a bottle though recently I haven't seen it about so much so when I saw this Asda one costing only 88p a bottle I thought I would see what it was like and I went for the 'Original' fragrance of this as I tend to prefer washing up liquid to not tbe too highly fragranced anyway.
The bottle is see-through plastic and squeezy and holds 740ml of the liquid which of course you can see through the bottle so can see when it needs replacing etc which is rather helpful eh lol. On the front of it we are simply told that it is Asda 'Chosen By You' Original Washing Up Liquid and then on the back of bottle we are told a bit about the product, the ingredients used and contact details for Asda are given. It has a red plastic flip top lid to the top of it and all in all this is a nice enough, informative enough bottle.
Well the liquid is dark green and runny though not like water or anything adverse like that. The fragrance is hard to explain as it isn't fruity or floral just fresh and clean really and I guess soapy smelling lol! A little of this goes a very long way indeed to create soft water, a bit of fragrance and some froth to the water and thats it away you go washing up your dirty pots and pans and the likes of course!
This is a rather good product to be fair to it as a little of it goes a very long way indeed, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin on my hands and really does bring things up clean and shiny. For what I think of my as ordinary washing up like rinsing off plates and cutlery its great and makes cleaning easy enough for me, on my pots and pans that I'm hard on with dry boiling rice and the likes in them all I do is pop a little of this within them with hot water and allow them to soak a while and once again this works a treat.
I have no issues with this at all. It isn't expensive in price but I don't think of it as a cheap product if that makes sense either. It doesn't leave a residue on my washing up or any odd flavour once rinsed off and all in all I'm rather happy with this one!
Only available in Asda stores or from Asda.com
