A great, value product fro Asda

I like nothing much more than a clean toilet and living in shared accommodation I find it incredibly important (even though I only share with my best mate!) to be hygienic. We spend an awful lot on cleaning products for our flat as we both really fussy but get fed up of how much we spend on this type of stuff so last week when we were Asda we mooched about for 'cheap' products to see how they fared! This costing a mere 24p a bottle met our criteria so we bought it!

      The Packaging:

The toilet cleaner comes in a white plastic bottle that has a slight curve to the centre of it for ease of handling. On the front of the bottle there is a green and white label and in black and green writing I am told told that it is Asda 'Smart Price' Toilet Cleaner 'Pine Fragrance' and I'm told how to use it, warnings and ingredients are given, the size is stated (which is 750ml and the only size this is available to purchase in) and contact details for Asda are given. This is a simple looking bottle and looks cheap but after-all it isn't the way a product looks it always the product that counts I think and I can always hide it if need be lol!

      Using It:

To use this is ever so simple. The liquid comes out of a small spout to the top of the bottle and to get to it you have to push and twist the safety cap to the top of it (so it is childproof).

The liquid is thin, transparent and a bright green colour and does have a very pungent aroma of pine to it although to me it has a strong smell of disinfectant to it but it is clean and fresh fragranced.

It is easy to squirt it under the rim of the toilet and it comes out rather runny and then all you do is leave it for at least 2 hours before flushing it but for best results we are told on the bottle to leave it overnight (which I do!).

Whilst this is in the toilet it smells for its duration in a very clean way and really does beat up nasty odours. I don't know if it kills germs I can only assume that it does however we are not told on the bottle that, that is what it is for! It does however make the toilet 'feel' clean and for that reason I would have no hesitation in purchasing this time and time again in the future!

This is only available from Asda stores costing 24p a bottle.
