I have been ordering from the Avon catalogue through a friend for a good few months now. I often take advantage of the offers they put on, and this is why I decided to try out this cherry blossom room spray. Ordinarily, I would simply just pick up an air freshener in the supermarket, but I got this on a good deal and ended up hardly paying anything for it. I had heard many people rave about the Avon linen sprays, so I went ahead and got this because I thought the smell would be lovely.
As this is an Avon product, you have to order it through their catalogues. You can find your nearest Avon representative on their website. You can also order this from their online shop, but you will then be charged for delivery too. Let me start in saying that the 'normal' price of this spray is £4.00. However, nine times out of ten this won't be the true selling price, as Avon almost always cut their prices buy a quarter, half or even more sometimes. I picked this up on a deal where it was five items for £5 from a mixture of bath and body products. This meant I only paid £1.00 for this spray which is a really good deal, and a price I was happy to pay.
You get 125ml of spray in the bottle, which is relatively small compared to aerosol cans of air freshener. However, it is still a reasonable size and stores away easily. The spray comes in a clear plastic bottle, with pink labelling and information on the product. The liquid inside is also clear in colour. The lid removes easily, and I have had no troubles in using the dispenser to spray this which is good.
To use this, Avon state that you just need to spray this two to three times in the centre of a room. However, I find myself spraying around ten or so times depending on the size of the room. I also like to spray it into different sections of the room rather than just the centre. As this is a linen spray also, I simply spray it directly on to bed sheets and fabric chairs in the house. It is really simple to use, and it is up to you how much you wish to spray it.
The most important thing about this product is obviously its scent. This is cherry blossom scented, so as you can imagine it is very fruity and floral. I have to admit that the smell is sickly sweet, but I absolutely love it. It is definitely one for the ladies, as my boyfriend thinks it is far too sweet! Because of this, I would not recommend it for use all over the house. I personally just like to use this in my bedroom and the rooms upstairs in our house. The scent could perhaps be a little overpowering for a living room or dining area, where I prefer to use muskier scents. It is very, very girly in its fragrance, so I possibly would not recommend this to a male dominant household! But as I love fresh, fruity and sweet scents this is right up my street!
Unfortunately, the only problem I faced with this room and linen spray is that it does not tend to last too long. When I compare it to aerosol air fresheners, I find that this does not perform as well in how long it lasts. Apart from this however, I could not fault it.
Overall, this is a lovely room and linen spray from Avon, which I would happily recommend to those who love sweet and girly smells. It does stick on to linen well, however as a room spray it does not last too long. But considering I only paid £1.00 for this, I am really happy as it fills the room with a gorgeous cherry blossom scent which I absolutely love. Four stars for this spray, and I would recommend you look at the Avon room sprays in other scents if this isn't the one for you. Thanks for reading.
