Advantages: Leaves floor looking good, good price, works well ,a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: None from me
I have a number of different cleaning products in my cupboard, I never used to buy floor cleaner, don't get me wrong, I used to use a simple mop and bucket of water to clean my wooden floors but they lacked that clean looking shine so I decided to try a floor cleaning product out. I did not want to buy anything to expensive so I decided to ask my friend what she used and she said just a bottle of something that she got from the local Supermarket, she couldn't even remember the name! So on my next trip to Tesco I went and had a look down the cleaning aisle and after having a little bit of a mooch I brought some of the Cif Liquid Floor Cleaner, the Wild Orchid scent one and here are my thoughts on the product.
As I mentioned, I got this in Tesco, I brought the product for the great price of just a £1.00. I believe this was an offer price and if paying the full cost you will be looking at around the £1, 49 mark. I have seen the floor cleaner in a number of different stores, supermarkets and high street shops such as Wilkinson's and B and M.
The Wild orchid fragrance is also easy to spot on the supermarket shops, it comes in a clear plastic bottle and the liquid is a pink colour, maybe which is partially brought this one! On the front of the bottle is a logo with all the Cif name on and fragrance of the product and on the reverse is a breakdown of the ingredients that have been used as well as directions on how to use this. I guess the process is quite easy, we are told to dilute the cleaning solution into some warm water and then basically get cleaning!
You only need a small amount of this Cif cleaner, a little really will go along way so the bottle will last you a good few weeks. I have laminate and tiled floors in my house and have used this cleaner on both of them. There is the scent of the orchid that comes through, it is soft and quite refreshing and although it is not really heavy and doesn't last that long, it is far better than having the scent of bleach all around your home. Whilst the liquid comes out of the opening quite slowly, you really do need a small amount, it will start to froth when it hits the water and then I just mop my floors.
What I noticed was that this does not leave any water marks or smears and streaks across the flooring, it dries really evenly so your floors after cleaning will look really good, I like that they are given a really good clean with this product and they do look that much better after using this than my usual warm water and mop method!
I have no problem in recommending this product, it is of great value and leave the floor surfaces looking really good. I like that the Cif cleaner had a good scent about it and a little will last a really long time!
5 out of 5 from me on this one
