Advantages: Brings things up clean and shiny with minimum effort
Disadvantages: Fragrance
When it comes to cleaning I do buy an awful lot of products...mainly cos I live 2 minutes away from Poundland and this is yet another product I got from there recently and I was more than happy to pay a quid for it knowing that it usually retails at about a couple of quid a bottle usually in places like Asda and such!
The Packaging:
The bottle this comes in is white plastic with a trigger action nozzle to the top of it complete with a turn on/off feature and on the front of the bottle we are told that it is Cif Multipurpose 'Powerful bleach cleaning, suitable for use around the home' and there are pictures on there shown of a kitchen and a bathroom sink and we are told that it gives 'Daily clean and shine'. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told where to use it and how, precautions are given, as is the size of the bottle (which is 500ml in this case), the ingredients are listed and contact details for Unilever (the manufacturer of the product) are given. Its a nice simple enough bottle this one, easy to use and informative as it needs to be too.
Using It:
Well this is suitable to be used on many washable surfaces though we are not clearly told where we can and cannot use it though me I use it in so many places now lol!
I simply spray the really bleachy smelling clear liquid on to where I want to clean and I wipe it away either with a clean cloth or a damp one and I use it mainly in my kitchen and my bathroom plus my glossed skirting boards from time to time to spruce them up a bit.
This is very strong smelling of bleach in my opinion and iS pretty much a spray on bleach product. I find this totally effective immediately on my dirty ceramic tiles, on my stainless steel kitchen sink and taps and worktops (this even removes curry stains from those!) and all over the place in my bathroom including my toilet, skink and bath. I find this lifts up grease and grime immediately, for more stubborn stains you can leave it a couple of minutes then wipe it off though i have to admit although I can be a dirty so and so ii have never needed to wait that long and that it works mega quickly for me!
I can't say I'm enthralled by the smell of this product though it is a clean fragrance and not too in your face to be fair to it. This is great for making my toilet clean and fresh, great at stripping through grease on my tiles in the kitchen ......even good at removing water and dirty marks from my bath when I've used it and it brings things up really feeling and looking clean and what's more a little of this goes a very long way indeed.
I can't say I would go out of my way to purchase this again in the future and not because it isn't a good product but that I prefer nicer fragranced ones!
Available in Pound style and discount shops at about a pound a bottle but in all good supermarkets such as Tesco's and Asda but expect to pay about the £2.00 mark!
Summary: A very good product, just the fact it stinks lets it down a bit!
