Cilit bang is an excellent product to tackle harder stains in the kitchen and elsewhere. The ingredients make it a lot more powerful and it helps to clean tough grime and dirt away. We often use it in the kitchen if we spill on the hob and it works particularly well in the oven as well as on sticky or hardened spillages!

The bottle is bright purple and the large bold Cilit Bang logo is on the front label. The bottle is designed quite well to be held comfortably. The spray nozzle must be turned to on before you can use the product. It has quite a big spray trigger, which releases a good deal of the stuff when you pull it. The liquid inside is actually pink and very bubbly.

When you spray it, it comes out as a nice foamy liquid. I tend to leave it on the stain for a few minutes to soak in and do some work before actually giving it a scrub. I then either use a scourer, sponge or simply a paper towel depending on the toughness of the stain and whether it would scratch or not with a scourer!

This product certainly works well and is more powerful than your everyday kitchen cleaner. We have used it many times on the hob and also to get grease off the oven window. The bottle is quite large at 750ml so tends to last quite a long time. It costs about £2 so is a pretty good investment. I have used it for everything and all sorts of stuff including when my tortoise decides to poo across a room leaving hardened mess on the floor!

You should never use this on hot surfaces such as your hob or oven after using it as it may give off harmful gases and isn't good for you! Obviously it should be kept out of reach from children as it contains some harmful ingredients if ingested. I think it contains a small amount of bleach too, so you should try not to get it on your clothes. It has a pretty pleasant smell though, but is quite potent and I tend to associate it with cleaning! It's a bit flowery and light. I'd recommend this one!
