Cillit Bang Power Cleaner Degreaser is a must have to have in the household for any really hard to tackle jobs like cleaning the hob, oven or even cleaning outdoors.

It's powerful ingredients make cutting through baked on food, tackling smears, grease oil and general grime a piece of cake.

This is a multi-purpose product and can be used on a multitude of items and areas including cutlery, plates, oven hobs, dishes, pots & pans, work tops, fridges, stainless steel, tiles, grills, cupboards, applicances, doors, extractor hoods, metal venetian blinds, bins, garden furniture, bicycles, car rims, marble, granite and natural stone surfaces and also glass although you do need to rinse thoroughly over use.

The product comes in a container with a handy trigger top with a nozzle that you can twist to open and close. This is easy to spot on the shelf with its bright purpose body and bright green trigger with 'Cillit Bang' displayed prominently on the label.

The ingredients are so powerful that you are advised to test the product on an inconspicuous area before use on any particular surface. For general cleaning you just spray - leave for a minute - then wipe with a damp cloth or sponge but make sure you then rinse thoroughly again so that no residue is left behind.

For tackling food stains and heavier soiling you should leave the product on for no longer than 30 minutes. Then using a soapy solution (washing up liquid) clean as normal and rinse thoroughly.

MY OPINION:

Although the instructions say to use washing liquid after using on food soiled areas I don't usually find that to be necessary. Water seems to suffice on most occasion and I just make sure that the area is throughly rinsed afterwards, especially if it is an area that is going to come into contact with food products. This is a concentrated product so you don't have to use a lot to get really good results so this means the bottle should last you a long time. I don't tend to use this for a general cleaner although you can - I rather save it for tackling more arduous clean tasks as described below.

For example, we got out our BBQ from the garage to find that it had gotten very grimy indeed but using Cillit Bang on it soon had it looking ship shape and bristol fashion and looking almost as good as new and ready for burgers in no time so this does cut down on the elbow grease you would otherwise have to use with some other inferior products. Another great area we have used this on is the extractor hood of the oven which gets very mucky with grease stains and gunk and this again did a really good job of tackling this and leaving it looking lovely and clean.

The smell is not too overpoweringly chemically but it is not as fresh smelling as some other products on the market but it does make your house smell like it has been well and truly cleaned if used on large areas!

This product should not be used on vitroceramic surfaces, halogen hobs, wooden surfaces, hot or damaged surfaces or zinc-plated metals.

This should be kept out of reach of children and medical advice should be sought immediately if swallowed. The bottle should be stored in an upright position and is recyclable when used up.
