“ Brand: Reckitt Benckiser / Type: Floor Cleaner / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
Living in a flat with plenty of laminate floors means I spend alot of my time trying to keep them clean. I hate having to sweep and hoover them but find that a really good floor cleaner helps loads which is why I purchased this product in the first place.
Fed up of using stuff that didn't remove splatters and dirt easily or leaving a greasy and slidy residue all over my floors, this from a brand I trust seemed a good buy at only £5.00 for such a large bottle I had to try it out before I broke my leg on my floor or something lol.
The bottle is rather eye-catching and thats why I noticed it on the shelf in the supermarket. It's bright purple with an integrated handle to the right hand side and it has a twist on/off bright green cap top the top of it. On the front label I'm told that it is Cillit Bang Power Cleaner, Grease & Floor and that it is Fresh Force fragance and the size is stated and I'm told (and shown little diagrams) that it removes smears, grease and dirt. On the back of the bottle other information given includes being dosage instructions, cautions are given as well as safety instructions, the size is stated (which in this case is 1.5L but it is also available in 750ml) and contact details for the manufacturer are clearly given. Like I said earlier, this is a nice bright bottle and it is easy to handle and deal with and of course gives all the information you need to make the choice if its right for you and your needs.
Well the liquid is transparent with a sort of green fresh fragrance to it which really does smell very fresh and clean indeed and using it (and getting fabulous results from it) is a doddle. Instructions on ways to use it depending on the job in hand are clearly stated on the back of the bottle too.
For light cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom floors and other large surfaces, laminates, tiles and ceramics we are advised to use 2 capfuls of the liquid to 5L of water. For heavier dirt and smears in the kitchen, bathroom and outdoors, showers and shower cubicles, bathubs, sinks cupboards, refrigerators, appliances, doors, patios and garden furniture we are advised to use 3 capfuls per 5L water.
For tough baked-on grease and encrusted grime in the kitchen and outdoors, light oven soils, pans, stove tops, worktops, extractor fans, grills, bicycles and car rims etc we are told to apply it neat and let it soak in for 2 minutes and then wipe it off.
All round this is a tremendous cleaner! When I originally purchased it I was only interested in using this on my floors but since then I've found it such a multi-tasking product there is nowhere really I won't use it.
The liquid smells wonderful and really does lift up grease and grime and pure flipping muck from things...and easily! It even leaves a nice shine and no residue behind at all.
I use it like I say on floors and I don't have to work hard in trying to make it work, it simply does. I've cleaned out kitchen cupboards, the fridge, wiped down the whole of my bathroom and again, it works and works brilliantly and I've even wiped down painted skirting boards!
There is pretty much nowhere I wouldn't clean with this apart from mirrors but its great on glass such as my shower screen and glass topped surfaces.
This is simply a fantastic product for use almost everywhere in and out of the home. It's my one stop muck buster and it makes my home a pleasure to live in. Gone are greasy marks, dirty corners and smudges and my home is left sweet smelling for a good length of time too! Top marks for this one I can't and won't be without a bottle of it in my cleaning cupboard!
Available in all good supermarkets and I purchased my bottle in Asda for around £5.00.]
