Advantages: kills 99.9% of germsand allergens, no smell

Disadvantages: none

I use the Dettol spray as my main cleaner for the kitchen, and the Dettol Bathroom cleaner for the bathroom. I pretty much love Dettol. It doesn't have a strong odour or aggravate my asthma and I trust it to kill 99.9% of germs.

Whilst I love the spray, sometimes you need something a little more practical for those little spills. I regularly buy Dettol Antibacterial Surface Wipes - they come in a pack of 40 for approximately £2, although you often see them on offer for £1.50 or even £1 in Asda and I have occasionally bought them in the pound shop!

They come in a plastic packet with a tab that you pull up to expose the wipes and press down to reseal. It is very easy to open them and reseal them, I've never had them dry out or any other problems as the tab is very sticky. The wipes themselves are large and feel very wet.

My daughter was born early, and I have asthma, so it is important that our house is as clean as can be. Dettol in general kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses including: E.Coli, Salmonella, MRSA, Rotavirus and Flu Virus. They also remove 90% of allergens including pollen, pet hair and dust mites. They have the British Allergy Foundation seal of approval too. This means I can be sure that whether it is the spray or the wipe, Dettol is keeping my house as clean and allergen free as can be.

The wipes do not smell, which is a relief, and they do not irritate my asthma like other cleaners do. They do not taint, smear or leave greasy residue. They dry quickly and well. You can use them anywhere you like, even on surfaces where food will be prepared, so chopping boards, surfaces etc. You can use them in any room.

I tend to use them when cleaning my daughter's potty, the kitchen bin, door handles and light switches. I feel confident that they are cleaning 99.9% of germs and leaving my home clean as can be.

A bargain at £2, but a steal at £1. Well worth every penny.

Summary: well worth it!
