l suspect that like most older people I have learned to trust 'the sword' which represents all dettol products & have always trusted them.

I don't tend to buy many cleaning products as I use a polti steamer on a regular basis. obviously though there are many occasions when it isn't practical to use a heavy steamer, wait for it to heat up & use electricity etc which is when I reach for my dettol all-in-one.

It's a cleverly designed trigger bottle which is comfortable to hold as it contours the hand and the squeeze action is easy to control so you don't waste the product.

theere are clear instructions on how to use, where it's suitable to use, where it's not advisable to use plus precautions etc

it also provides a website for advice/ comments - very reassuring when manufactureres do this even though I've never heard of anyone using these?

in my opinion - yes!

I used it to clean worktops, sinks & washing-up bowl & other minor jobs in the kitchen

I tried it on the really ground-in grease on the tiles behind the cooker & it worked a treat - it even tackled the grease on the cooker hood - so well pleased it could deal with heavy jobs!

I then used it in the bathroom to clean the washbasin, shower, bath, loo etc - great results once again

I also used a little for the paintwork & it continued to do its job

my worst job is cleaning up leftover pets' food - dettol tackled this well
