I'm far from a cleaning lover but when I do get down to cleaning I put alot of effort into and love everything smelling chemically fresh - sort of lol. I've always liked Dettol after being introduced to it when I was younger - no matter what product I seen my mum using I was always impressed with the clean and refreshing smell it had. When I seen Dettol All In 1 Multi-Action Cleaner I decided to try it and give my kitchen a good clean.

This comes in a see through plastic bottle with a gun trigger spray at the top so quite a convenient product to use. The spray can be stopped just by turning the nozzle at the front of the lid - this is good in case any young children do manage to get hold of it as it prevents them from spraying and causing any damage. This can bought in a few different fragrances and this one I have is Atlantic Fresh - each fragrance holds a different coloured liquid inside. You can see the liquid inside which is a lovely blue colour. The bottle is quite busy and full of information about this product. It apparently kills 99.9% of bacteria - well this is what I needed in a kitchen to keep it hygienic and clean. The All in 1 aspect means it can;

Cut through grease
Remove soap scum
Leave a visible shine
Atlantic fresh fragrance

Although I bought it to use in my kitchen it does say on the back of the bottle you can use it in the bathroom as well. It is not suitable for all surfaces however and on the back of the bottle you are provided with a list of surfaces it is not suitable to use on.

I first used this the other day on my hob, I had cooked stew the night before and it had bubbled over quite a bit leaving some unruly stains which I could see were quite tough and thick. I sprayed the blue liquid over liberally and left it for a minute at the most. I wiped my sponge over and was immediately impressed by the fact that it did pick up and wipe away these tough stewy stains. Not only did it wipe away these nasty stains instantly but it did leave a fresh scent - nothing to overpowering or strong - instead a refreshing just cleaned fragrance which wouldn't offend anybody.

I have used this to clean my whole kitchen and I'm confident that it leaves everything cleansed - on top of that my kitchen smells beautifully fresh .. it is not your typical over the top nose twitching chemical smell it is very refreshing and clean. The liquid soaks up well into sponges and cloths that I use and leaves no stains or drips anywhere but it does leave my kitchen looking shiny and sparkling clean. The fragrance lingers for a good while too which is brilliant especially if you have guests coming over - it is a very welcoming scent and would smell a treat to any visitor walking through your door.

Overall I'm very impressed with this product - not only does it tackle my stains on my kitchen worktops and hob but it leaves a fresh fragrance too which I think is lovely. I have used it in my bathroom - and it has, with a good scrub, wiped away some tough dirt. It has made some cleaning easier as some stains can be quite difficult to get rid of - this does the hardwork for you within a minute I'd say and really lifts and loosens them for you to wipe away so effortlessly.
