      Very helpful

This is a brilliant budget all purpose cleaner

My local pound shop has always sold the Easy range of household cleaning products but yesterday was the first time I had seen the Lemon & Lime All Purpose Cleaner. I like citrus smells in my cleaning products so thought this was worth trying for £1.

When I got it home I decided to give my kitchen a quick clean because I have got guests coming tonight and I thought it needed a bit of a spruce up. The cleaner is quite thin so be careful how you squirt it out because you do not need to use too much in one go.

It is very easy to use. I squirted a little puddle of the cleaner onto a damp cloth and wiped it all over my kitchen worktop. I rubbed the worktop a bit then used a clean damp cloth to rinse it. I had a stubborn bolognese stain on the worktop so I squirted a little bit of the cleaner straight onto the stain and left it to work for 5 minutes. Both methods left my worktop noticably cleaner and when I was wiping the worktop I saw that the dirt had transferred to the cloth that meant there was more grime there than I had thought in the first place. It also removed the stain completely and I was surprised about that because I think the cheaper all purpose cleaners are very poor at getting rid of dark stains.

I also used the cleaner to clean my pine dining table, my stainless steel sink and draining board, the outside of my fridge and I poured some in the water in my mop bucket to mop the floor. Everything I have cleaned has come up nice but I don't think it did a very good job of the sink because it left a bit of a residue which I thought was hard to rinse off even when I used boiling water. It has not stained the sink like I was worried it was going to but took me a long time to get it off. I could really notice a difference in my kitchen floor when I used Easys cleaner. I have tiles on the floor and using just a little bit of the all purpose cleaner made them nice and shiny and I could see how much cleaner the floor was when I mopped one half of the room and compared it to the other half.

The smell is nice but a little bit overpowering for my liking. It has not got too many fumes because it didn't make me wheeze or cough like so many cleaners do. It does smell of lemon and lime but not fresh and citrus at all, I think Easy have developed a nice cleaner and then have added some artificial lemon and lime scent afterwards but just enough to take away the standard smell of all purpose cleaner. It is a nice smell though and much nicer than the smell of bleach. It doesnt' last very long after I have finished cleaning but leaves a freshly cleaned scent in the room and I like this because the smell of the cleaner does not clash with my air freshener.

This bottle of Easy All Purpose Cleaner cost me £1 but other shops sell the Easy range for about £1. 50 for each product. It is worth it though because even though I had to use a little bit more elbow grease than I would with a bigger brand the savings on price was worth it.
