I used to use fairy to clean my dishes but last year I discovered that proctor and gamble test products on animals. I have to admit that I had noticed that some of our "environmentalist" friends used this product and I always thought it had to be completely ineffective if it was good for the environment. Many years ago, my Mother discovered this product and began to use it on principal, rather than on merit, because it said that it was good for the environment. My own opinion of it back then was that it didn't work, and had the grease-shifting power of instantly filthy dish water, but she stuck with it and somehow managed to keep our crockery clean. Our dishwasher is out of action. It's sitting in the garage feeling rather lonely. One day, when I've sorted out the conservatory/extension/outhouse, and it's become the laundry, and there's room in the kitchen, our dishwasher will be pressed into service once again.
