“ Brand: Fairy / Type: Washing Up Liquid / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
This is my favourite washing up liquid. Clean and Care Almond is a little more expensive than the original brand but it feels a lot more luxurious than any washing up liquid. It costs more than twice as much than the cheaper brands but this bottle has lasted me two months. I am so pleased with this brand of washing up liquid as it is very versatile indeed! I have used it to do my washing up (and you only need a drop the size of a penny to make the washing up bowl full of bubbles) a chore that I generally do not look forward to and the lovely smell and creaminess of this liquid make the boring chore a lot more bearable! The main point I want to add is that I have recently discovered how versatile this magical liquid is! I recently went travelling and took a small container of this liquid with me, I thought it may come in handy for washing clothes, and it worked fantastically! Then one day I ran out of shower gel and I used this Fairy liquid on my body and my hair!!! It was wonderful, just as luxurious as the shower gel I had previously used. So far I have only bought one bottle (2 months ago) and there is still some left, I will definitely be buying this one again or try another one from the same range.
I ran out of washing up liquid my husband bought last time, so I decided to try another one. So I bought a Fairy Clean and Care Almond 450 ml washing up liquid for 1.4 pounds in Sainsbury's. Most of the times I do the shopping with my sons, so I have to hurry because they don't really enjoy walking around in a groceries shop. As they were with me, I didn't open the lid of the washing up liquid in the shop, I just dropped into the basket.
As I opened its lid it smelled like a piece of marzipan. I like marzipan, and as it is made of almond it wasn't a surprise. So my washing up liquid has an intense almond fragrance that lasts intensively only for a few seconds, then the intense lessens.
This washing up liquid foams well and lasts long. I bought it about a month ago and I used only one third of it. I use my washing machine only for glasses and plates. I like to wash cutlery myself. Big dishes are not worth washing in my dishwasher (it is a small one for 12-14 plates and about 12 glasses). I like cleaning plastic bowls myself as well. I cook every day for four of us, so there are a lot of dishes waiting for washing up.
My former washing up liquid contained lemon extract and I had eczema on my left hand because of it. I used gloves and it disappeared in a few days. I don't really like doing the washing up in gloves, so that's why I chose a pampering one. The Fairy Clean and Care Almond washing up liquid really moisturises my hands. I haven't experienced dry skin on my hands since I use it.
