Fairy Clean & Care Silk and Orchid
Advantages: Smells nice, cleans the dishes, cuts through grease, don't use much
Disadvantages: Doesn't make any difference to my hands
I have never really took much interest in washing liquid and have just bought the cheapest whether it be own brand or a branded make however after washing up in my own house with an own brand product and then going to my Mams and washing up with Fairy I suddenly realised there is quite a big difference between the products so decided I would buy a bit better product.
I bought this product as Asda had one of their cleaning promotions on and this was selling a £1 a bottle, I actually ended up buying quite a few in a couple of difference fragrances, the usual selling price is £1.53 a 433ml bottle.
The product comes in a tapered soft transparent plastic bottle with a red flip top lid to allow dispensing of the product, there is a small sticker on the neck of the bottle stating Fairy cleaning and with a touch of Olay softness and then another sticker further down the bottle on the front. The main sticker on the front has an outlined picture of the royal crest and actually states "by appointment to her majesty the queen" there is then the name of the product and the fragrance along with the little cartoon like baby that is always on Fairy products. On the back of the bottle there is a further rectangular sticker, the product is claimed to "gives you the cleaning power of fairy with a touch of Olay softness. Other than the claims there is simply a couple of pictures giving warnings not to get it in your eyes and to keep out of reach of children, there are also some ingredient details and the company information should you need it.
The product inside the bottle is a lovely lilac colour and has a sort of pearly finish to it, I think the product smells like blackberries and when you put it under water is lathers easily so there is no need to use much at all. This product gives lots of bubbles from a small amount of product and gets my dishes lovely and clean, I can't wait to try the other fragrances I have bout but this bottle is lasting a long time so I may have to wait. The smell of the product lingers nicely in the kitchen but in all honestly I cannot say my hands feel any better using this to any normal bottle of washing liquid.
A great product which does the job, cheaper ones are just false economy in my opinion.
Summary: Great washing liquid just hope it comes on offer again
