I try to do this after I have dished up meals and by the time I come to do the dishes after my meal, any food is removed from my dishes and is easy to wipe away. I wouldn't say that my other dishes require a soak but if I am being lazy or have been eating tomato based foods, I do like to fill up the basin and soak the dishes for a short while. This means I only need to give them a light wipe over and rinse before drying them. I als...more

~Fairy Tangerine and Ginger Flower~ This is one of many washing up liquids offered by Fairy. Tangerine and Ginger Flower is part of the Fairy Aromatics range which includes two other scents - Pomegranate and Honeysuckle and Green Apple and Lime Blossom. Fairy promise a 'fantastic fresh scent' as well as helping to leave your dishes clean. This washing up liquid is presented in a tall, curvy bottle which is made from clear plastic. The familiar Fairy baby is illustrated on the front of the bottle alongside some oranges and flowers. ~Price and Availability~ Fairy Tangerine and Ginger Flower is mainly available in a 433ml sized ...  Read the complete review

Fairy are a well-known household brand that almost everyone is familiar with. I usually overlook the named brand cleaning products in favour of the cheaper supermarket own-brand varieties, but I was curious to try some of the new Fairy Liquid as it comes in a range of different scents. This Tangerine and Ginger Flower Fairy Washing Up Liquid is available to buy from most supermarkets and I bought my 450ml sized bottle from Tesco's for £1.00. Product description: "Fairy washing up liquid with the fantastic fresh scent of tangerine & gingerflower." This washing up liquid comes in a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid. Inside there ...  Read the complete review

Well never thought that it would happen, but in a bid to make washing the dishes more interesting I have had a change from my faithful green traditional Fairy and gone for the lively orange Tangerine and Ginger Flower version. Whilst this is not exactly earth shattering is has, actually made a very pleasant change to a boring chore! The bottle itself is very well designed having easy to hold curvy shapes at the top of the clear plastic bottle which is topped by the normal bright red flip off top which as yet has never leaked. The liquid is a lovely bright clear. warm orange and this is what attracted me to try this version and as for the smell well can ...  Read the complete review

Unless there is a huge difference in price, I tend to favour Fairy as a brand when it comes to washing up liquid. I find them to be the best performing, and they're usually on offer somewhere making it affordable. This tangerine and ginger flower fragrance was recently on rollback in Asda costing £1. At full price, it costs £1.25 for a 433ml bottle, so is only fractionally more expensive than the supermarket own brands. The washing up liquid is the high quality you come to expect from a brand like Fairy. It is thick on dispensing, and creates a lot of suds without too much effort. This means it cuts through grease and helps to remove even the most ...  Read the complete review

Back when I used to live with my parents I had a dishwasher at my disposal but when I moved in to my own little rented flat I suddenly had no dishwasher and so needed to do dishes by hand. With this being my first time away from home and having so much else to deal with I decided to go with a brand name and out of them all chose Fairy which impressed me greatly so I have used ever since. When I spotted that Fairy were doing different fragrances I decided to try out their tangerine and ginger offering but was it worth the change? Pros: Fairy is a superb washing up liquid which offers great cleaning power for your dishes without the need for scrubbing. ...  Read the complete review
