Advantages: Keeps furniture and fabric smelling fresh

Disadvantages: None for me

I like to keep my home clean and also smelling fresh but there are some things I cant wash as regularly as I would like, the sofa, carpets and curtains for instance, this is where Febreze Fabric Refresher comes in useful, it doesn't actually clean but it certainly freshens up fabrics and leaves them smelling clean and fresh. They come in several fragrances and the one I am currently using is Summer Splash.

Febreze Summer Splash is sold in a blue plastic bottle with a yellow trigger top lid, the label on the front is mainly white and yellow fitting in with the name Summer Splash, the Febreze logo is written across the middle of the label in blue writing, below this it informs the customer that this is summer splash and it will "eliminate odours and add freshness". The top of the label shows some slices of melons which indicates this is going to have a fruity fragrance which it does.

The back of the label gives all the information you would expect to find for this type of product, its clearly set out for those who wish to look.

Febreze has been dermatologicaly tested and can be used safely around the home although I would advise you to test a small unseen area if you have any delicate fabrics.

As the label suggested this would have a fruity fragrance and there is absolutely no mistaking the fact that this smells of melons. I was slightly dubious about this as I hate melon and wouldn't have chosen this myself but my husband Mark did the shopping when this was bought and he chose it, however I really like it. The fragrance is really fresh and light and the name summer splash describes it perfectly.

I use the Febreze all over my home on the carpets, curtains and sometimes bedding. With 3 cats and a baby its important to me that my furniture and carpets particularly are kept smelling clean and fresh. I find Febreze doesn't leave anything wet and the smell lingers around the room for sometime. I have an open plan house and cooking smells seem to get everywhere, I like to use Febreze on my sofa after cooking and I find this eliminates any cooking smells that seem to linger on it.

You can find Febreze in most major supermarkets and sometimes smaller stores too, We got ours from Tesco where it is currently selling for £2.78, Asda, Sainsburys and Waitrose also have it for this price too, however Wilkinson's currently have it priced at £2.00.

I would certainly recommend Febreze Summer Splash, its a lovely way to freshen up your furniture, curtains and carpets. Obviously this is not cleaning anything but it does help to eliminate any smells that get into furniture and carpets. It has a lovely light summery fragrance which lingers around for sometime after I've sprayed but is in no way overpowering. I will certainly use this one again.

Summary: A lovely way to freshen your home
