      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Nice liquid.

I do my fair share of cleaning chores around my home and I don't actually mind cleaning at all. After all I live in my home too and like it to be nice and clean. I like the brand Flash and it has been around for so many years, the brand has lots of different fragrances and it is a good buy.

This liquid cleaner comes housed in a large, clear plastic bottle with a screw off top. The liquid is pink in colour, it has a really nice smell to it, it smells of fresh flowers and is quite a fresh smell. The liquid is easy to just pour from the bottle into a bucket of hot water etc.

I use this cleaner to mop my floors, my floors have sticky marks on them after my grandchildren have visited my home. This cleaner dissolves the sticky patches really well and little effort is needed for it to be completely removed and the marks to disappear. It leaves the floors looking really clean too.

I use it all around my home where I want to use a liquid cleaner. I use it neat or diluted. Used neat it also cleans my bath and bathroom sink really well, It removes scum marks from around my bath and just leaves it with a nice shine to it. Also I use it to clean my stainless steel sink in my kitchen.
Use diluted it is such a good cleaner to clean windowsills and any work tops or surfaces which a liquid cleaner can be used to clean this surface. I find it is pretty good at removing dried on food on surfaces, cooker top and tiles in both my kitchen and bathroom.

My grandchildren sometimes drop food onto the floor because some of them are only babies and so it cannot be helped them dropping food or missing their mouths. This cleaner works well at removing the chocolate from the floor or from doors where the children have placed their sticky fingers. Just a solution of this cleaner cleans the doors very well indeed and in no time at all and I don't have to keep on scrubbing to remove the dirt etc. Good for cleaning door handles too and the wood work around the doors of my home.

A nice one for cleaning my bike when I have been out for a bike ride with my grandchildren, it cleans the wheels well and removes the mud from them and just leaves it clean and ready to use the next time we venture out for the day on our bikes.

I really love this cleaner, it works extremely well and worth the price. I bought it for only a £1 and for this price I think it is very good value for the money. I do recommend it for cleaning anywhere around your home to leave it not just nice and clean but also smelling really nice and fresh.

I rate this cleaner 5 stars.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

A great all purpose cleaning fluid

When it comes to doing the housework I do have a rather large amount of cleaning products, if I see something on offer it tends to be bought simply because I do think it's a good buy especially when it comes to cleaning the house. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and some of the cheaper cleaning products I have used over the years have been absolutely useless so I tend to spend my money on known brand cleaning products as I do think that the majority do work better than the cheaper ones.

The one product I bought a few months ago was the Flash All Purpose Blossom & Breeze. I opted for it partly because it was on offer at just £1 for a large bottle but also because I liked the fact that it had Febreeze in. I do like cleaning products which leave my house smelling fresh rather than leaving a smell that tells the world that you have just cleaned your house with a highly toxic smelling product!

My main use for the Flash All Purpose Blossom & Breeze is to clean the floors, the flooring in my house ranges from carpets, tiles to laminate flooring. Having cats and a new puppy means that my houses need cleaning on a very regular basis! I also use it for cleaning my upstairs bathrooms as it is just so handy to pour a little of the Flash into a sinkful of water and clean rather than keep spraying as I go along. Therefore, I need a product can simply clean any surface and this promises it!

The Flash All Purpose Blossom & Febreeze comes in a large, square clean plastic bottle and you can clearly see the pinkness of the liquid. On the front there is the Flash logo together with the Febreeze logo together with an image of delicately coloured flowers. On the reverse of the bottle there is the usual ingredients list together with warnings and how to use the product. The bottle has a security which just needs to be pressed in at the sides and then twisted for it to come off.

The cleaner itself is a beautiful hue of pink and has a consistency that matches water which is exactly what I was expecting for a liquid all purpose cleaner. However, what I did like was the smell! Despite it being very clear that it is a cleaning product it does have a lovely gentle but very noticeable floral and fresh fragrance which certainly makes a nice change to other cleaners I have used. I think the freshness of the fragrance comes from the Febreeze element which is definitely noticeable as I did wonder how the product would be influenced by Febreeze.

When using the all purpose cleaner you simply pour a small amount under running water or straight into a bowl or mop bucket. I think it simply depends on preference as to how you use it. If I'm cleaning the bathroom then I pour it under running water in the sink and if I am cleaning the floors I simply pour straight into the water in my mop bucket. Either way the cleaner produces white frothy bubbles and releases a very fresh, floral aroma at the same time!

As I said I've used this on a variety of surfaces and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I can't stand watermarks and living in a hard water area means that limescale is ever present so trying to get anything clean can be a challenge as there is nothing worse than seeing water marks but I am pleased to report that this all purpose cleaner doesn't leave any watermarks or a residue which is great. Now my bathrooms are cleaned twice a week so there is never much grime anyway so when cleaning this just takes off any dust that may have settled in between cleaning and of course it manages just fine. My unit cupboard doors are cleaned easily, even my stainless steel handles and fittings are left sparkling.

Now, when it comes to my floors with my muddy Hunters and the paws of cats and dogs there can be dirt, dust and grime so I do need a cleaner that will cut through any dirt with ease as I don't want to buy a cleaner which can't do its job properly. Flash All Purpose Blossom & Breeze manages to cut through the dirty paw prints and any other muddy patches with ease, I may have to go over the floor twice to ensure it is completely clean but the cleaner manages to get through it perfectly fine. And again on my tiled and laminate floors it doesn't leave watermarks or a residue either which is even better as my floors look clean!

Now for the Febreeze element, even though you can clearly smell it when cleaning I did wonder how long that fresh, clean smell would actually last. Well unfortunately it doesn't last all that long which is a shame but expected. The fresh, floral aroma will linger for a few hours which is perfectly nice but does soon disappear afterwards. However, that fact that it cleans well and doesn't leave watermarks means that I don't really mind that the aroma doesn't stay!

Overall, a great all purpose cleaning liquid which works on a multitude of surfaces and does the job it offers to do. Teamed with a lovely floral aroma it takes the hassle out of cleaning and can cut through dirt and grime with ease. A product I will definitely be buying again because it can do the job easily.

        Another great product from Flash

I nearly always buy Flash for my day to day cleaning and I especially like the Flash with Febreze in cotton fresh. A couple of months ago, I noticed that another Flash with Febreze variety - the blossom and breeze - was on special offer. We had just moved house and the place was filthy, so I knew it would get used and picked up two bottles.

The idea of the product is that not only will it clean your surfaces, it will leave a lovely febreze fresh aroma behind. The product is an all purpose liquid, so should be suitable for every room in the house. You can buy this in either a spray bottle or a pouring bottle. I bought two of the pouring bottles, as they tend to be better value for money. They contain the same product as the spray but you often get more for your money ml for ml.

The blossom and breeze liquid is a bright pink colour and my particular bottle, being bought in ASDA, has some information about the ASDA tickled pink fundraising campaign for breast cancer and the small print advises that 10p from the sale of the product goes to charity.

I like to have a nicely scented home and I also think using a product with a nice scent makes the cleaning process more enjoyable. I do like the scent of blossom and breeze, although I still prefer the cotton fresh variety to be honest. Blossom and breeze is quite a floral scent and also quite sweet and soapy. It's quite a feminine fragrance in my opinion which is probably to be expected given the pink colouring. My fiancé has expressed his dislike of the smell on more than one occasion, saying it's 'too flowery' but I think its just right.

The product can be used either diluted in water (2 capfuls per 5 litres water) or neat, directly onto a sponge or cloth, as long as it's rinsed afterwards. I use both methods depending on what I'm doing.

When cleaning the floors, I pour a couple of capfuls into warm water and then swish it about with the mop, to mix. The scent of the product is still quite noticeable despite being diluted and the liquid stays clear and does not froth up too much.

We have a real mix of flooring, so I've been able to test this on a variety of surfaces. We have terracotta tiles in the porch, solid oak in the living room and hall, laminate in the spare room, slate tiles in the kitchen (the rough textured slate) and smooth polished slate tiles in the bathroom. This cleaner has brought up all floors clean and shiny and there has been no residue left behind. It gets rid of stubborn marks and any spills in the kitchen. It doesn't leave streaks on the floor either which is a plus point for me, as I hate when I've finished cleaning only for the sun to come out and highlight the fact I have actually just made a streaky mess! The scent of the blossom and breeze is left behind after use, but it's quite subtle - certainly much more so than when the product is used neat.

When used neat, I tend to decant this into an old, rinsed out spray bottle, as I find that makes the product easier to use. If you don't have a spray bottle, you can simply pour some out onto a cloth or sponge, but be careful as the opening on the neck of the bottle is quite wide and it can easily be spilled.

I've used this on so many surfaces I don't really know where to start. Just today, it was used to clean the sink in the downstairs toilet as well as the windowsill and taps. I also used it to clean all of the skirting boards in the hallway, rinse down the porch door, clean the spindles on the stairs, the kitchen cupboard doors (they have ridges in them which might look nice, but get filthy!), the kitchen worktops, the dining table (it has a laminate surface rather than wood), the hob and the tiles behind the cooker which had been splashed with soup. All that and I haven't even started on upstairs!

As you can see, it suits a real variety of surfaces - basically anything that is washable. It does say not to use on untreated or oiled wood, as well as aluminium, copper and brass. I find that used neat, it brings up surfaces really clean and even stubborn marks are removed, with limited elbow grease. You do have to remember to rinse with a damp cloth, although I admit I've not done this on occasions and no residue has been left behind. The scent that lingers after use is stronger when the product has been used neat too and if you have cleaned multiple surfaces in one room it almost smells like you have used a light air freshener.

The only real negative I have found with this product is that it is drying to hands. I use gloves most of the time when cleaning, but on the few occasions I have not, my hands have really suffered after using this product.

I bought this from ASDA in a 'Mega Size' of 1.4 litres. I bought it during a cleaning event so it was reduced and I think I paid just £1 a bottle. Having just looked I've found the following prices

        Tesco - 700ml spray £2
        ASDA - 700ml spray £2.88
        Sainsbury's -700ml spray - £2.80
        Ocado - 700ml spray / 1.4l bottle £2.99

Most of the supermarkets do not seem to currently have this fragrance in stock which makes me wonder if it is due to be discontinued. Even if it is, I find pound shops are an excellent place to find discontinued cleaning products, so that's the first place I'd look if you can't find this in the supermarkets.

Overall, this is a good cleaning product, which has lasted me well. I like that it can be used on a multitude of surfaces as it means I don't need to have lots of bottles on the go at once. It does smell nice, and although my favourite scent is still the cotton fresh, I would still be happy to purchase more of this product in the future.
