After treating my self to a new mop and bucket set (vileda mop £2.99 and bucket £5.88) I decided to try a new floor cleaner as for ages I used stardrops all round and stardrops with ammonia (formerly starclens) and I think it was all I had. Before I bought this flash my mum brought a massive 5ltr flash with febreze (cotton fresh), the only trouble I found with this when I mopped the floor with this was it left a smell on the mop, it stank so bad I had to re-rinse the mop and it still smelt bad! But anyway the flash with febreze left the floors clean and the rooms smelling fresh! Anyway roll on flash lemon all purpose cleaner.
LOOKS, PRICE AND SMELL
My flash came in a 500ml bottle with a blue screw top on the top which doubles up as the measuring cap, my flash is price marked at £1 (manufactuers recommended retail price) and the middle has the familiar FLASH logo with clean and shine underneath, then, on the bottom is crisp lemons and 500ml all purpose cleaner. The background picture is a sparkling tile floor with all of these words shining on the other side of the shiny floor.
The back of the bottle has another sticker but this time it is a white background and it says at the top "Fash CLEAN AND SHINE is the All-Purpose Cleaner that offers you a universal solution for your entire home, so you don't need hundreds of cleaners under the sink!" It also states that flash clean and shine
Dissolves Grease And Dirt
Leaves Intensse Freshness
And Brilliant Shine!
Are these true? Yes they are!
To use flash you either dilute or use neat. To dilute you use two capfuls (=60ml) per 5 litres of water, to use neat pour onto a cloth or sponge or directly onto surface then rinse.
MY EXPERIENCES WITH FLASH CLEAN AND SHINE
I used flash clean and shine for my bathroom, on the bath and shower they scrubbed up very well, and the bath is gleamin and you can even see your face in my tiles (that dosen't happen very often lol!) I then used it for cleaningmy floor, I used 2 capfuls (=60ml) to 5 litres of water (measured out!) and I began to mop. My floors were shining when they dried and my mop smelt nice too! The water in the bucket was an extremely dark lime green colour! So I knew my flash was working1
In my opinion this flash is the best cleaner and the nicest smeller too! Try it and it is buy one get one free (BOGOF) at tesco and £1.39, (half price) at morrisons for a mega size 1.4ltr bottle and the 700ml spray! Great bargain!
Thanks for reading my review!
Flash All Purpose - Available in 500 ml, 1 litre, and 1.5 litre - 1 Litre is £2.29 at ASDA
The product shown is called crisp lemon, but the product is also available in other flavours. The product claims to have a strong formula, and as such it will cut through grease and grime. It claims to leave no residue, and says it will leave your surfaces sparkling. It also states that it will achieve all of this if used with cold water.
I have found that the product to be very effective at cleaning up in greasy areas (the kitchen). I tend to use it on my kitchen floor also, and the cleaning actions is in fact great. It has never left residue, (except the one time I let my niece mop my floor, and she used half the bottle but that will teach me to let her loose in the kitchen).
It has whenever I have used it left my surfaces sparkling, and wonderfully clean. I have used the product in cold water - by putting it into a spray bottle to use as other spray products when I have run out part way through a spring clean, and it was effective, however it isn't antibacterial.
I have used the lemon product and found the scent to be refreshing although a bit chemically (but I wasn't wearing it, so it wasn't offensive)... The other 'flavours' that I have used have been equally nice, and fresh smelling. The product seems to live up to all of it's promises, and is perfectly effective. However there are some other products out there that will give you more bang for your cleaning buck - (and require less elbow grease to achieve the same effect)...
So it does only get 4 out of 5 stars, but I still recommend it (and have two half bottles under my sink)...

I look after things, boats jet skis, houses , whatever and it doesn't really matter what job title you wrap it up in, basically I am a cleaner and fixer! I am always on the look out for products that will help me do my job more efficiently and don't involve me carrying a large selection of cleaning stuff around with me for different surfaces so a couple of months ago I spotted Flash Clean and Shine All- Purpose Cleaner on Dooyoo and decided to give it a go.
It certainly has been given a good try out. The house has survived (only just) a stag weekend visit by 10 assorted sportsmen and I will not describe the mayhem they left but it is the first time that I have had to mop the walls! This Flash product comes in a1litre bottle which is sitting glowing at me on my desk at the moment. Why does it glow?well it really is a very lurid day glo yellow which shines through the slightly frosted plastic bottle in which it is packaged. The 1litre bottle has an integral handle to make pouring the liquid easy and a bright blue screw on top.
It claims to give a brilliant clean and shine with half the effort vs the next best selling brand tested on grease, in neat condition and although I wouldn't agree 100% it certainly is impressive.
How to use it.
I have used it on hard floors, marble and wood diluted as directed , 2 x 60ml capfuls to 5litre of water. If you use it like this there is no need to rinse. If you do use it neat you must always rinse it off.
Use only diluted on painted and varnished surfaces, if in doubt try on a hidden ares first. Do not use on non washable surfaces eg waxed wood, untreated wood etc.
Keep away from children, don't get it in your eyes and rinse and dry your hands after use. People with sensitive skins should avid prolonged contact with the product.
What I have used it on.
Sinks and baths, bathroom vanity surfaces and bathroom tiles. I was a bit worried about the lurid colour affecting the white grout but this did not happen. All around the kitchen, it is very impressive on greasy ceramic cooker tops and grotty barbecues and I now use it generally in the kitchen. I also like it because there are no warnings about using it where there are pets, many cleaners say to let the floor dry before letting your pet back into the room but what if like me you have a dog that licks the floor!
I have tried it on painted surfaces, yes the beer got every where even the tops of the doors, and there have been no ill effects and I now do not need to swop cleaners to tackle the marble tops in the bathrooms which makes life easier.
The Best Bit.
It really has a fantastic smell! A deep, fresh zingy lemon smell , which as stated on the bottle leaves intense freshness and a brilliant shine. This leaves a house smelling really fresh and it is a great cleaner too. To get the brilliant shine which it promises I tend to buff things up with a clean tea towel, my favourite secret weapon but I am really pleased with this cleaner and will continue to buy it particularly when it is on special offer as happened a few weeks ago when a 1liter bottle cost just over 1pound.
5 stars from me, try it out!

Flash has to be one of my favourite cleaning brands I don't ever seem to be disappointed from the results. They all seem to have a nice clean scent and do a good job.
Flash All Purpose Cleaning Liquid - Fresh Lemon:
I normally use this product for my tile floors, utility room and bathroom as it brings the tiles up sparkling clean. I guess what drew me to this product was its super bright yellow colour and was a few years back now when I purchased my first bottle.
So what is Flash? This is an all purpose universal cleaner for your entire home, works on dissolving grease and grim. Another good point is that you don't even need to use hot water as it cleans with cold water which saves on your energy.
I normally purchase this in one litre bottles as I haven't seen it in any smaller size. However the litre bottle does last me a good while. While browsing the internet I have found you can purchase it in 500ml bottles but I haven't seen them.
This product is simple to use and the instructions given are easy to follow you just measure the right amount of water per capful. If I'm honest I don't tend to measure I just pour what I feel right. When cleaning although it states you can use cold water I have found it still doesn't work as well as using hot water.
The fragrance is rather strong at first but soon mellows out and leaves a wonderful fresh clean scent with a lemon tone. For me the lemon scent is rather artificial but you can still notice it is lemon using cold water you find the scent isn't so strong, but when mixed with heat it makes it a stronger fragrance when adding to hot.
I have found this to work well on stubborn grim marks on the tiled floor and little work is needed if mixed with hot. I also like how well it works against dried water marks and how it leaves items mark and streak free. Personally I don't tend to use this on worktops as I find this is better suited to flooring and tiles.
Price and Availability:
I normally pay around £1.99 for this item and it can often be found on offer for only £1.00. I have also seen it in Bargain Madness for £1.00 too.
Overall a nice scented cleaning product that works well on most types of surfaces. I personally think it is good value for money as it is well lasting and does a good job. I would recommend this product for bathrooms, floors and tiles.
Four out of five stars from me.
Thank you for reading.
Flash all purpose is in my personal opinion, a great product which I use regularly for loads of different jobs throughout my home. It comes in a bright yellow plastic container containing one litre for which I paid just £1.39 in Home Bargains.
This has a lovely fresh lemon scent as soon as you open the bottle and I use it dliuted with hot water in my kitchen bucket when I clean my bathroom and kitchen floors. I beleive there may also be other fragrances in this range but I have only personally ever used the lemon scented one.
I find it leaves a great streak free finish to all of my surfaces and a great fresh smell which lasts and lasts even well after the floor has dried.
It is gentle on the skin although the instructions advise you to wear rubber gloves when using it but I don't and I have never had any adverse reactions from this product.
It is really good value for money and you only need a little bit to obtain excellent results and a little really does go along way I always find.
This stuff has been around for donkey's years and it is definitely one of my firm favourites and always make sure I stock up when it is on offer and I always have plenty of bottles under my kitchen sink.

I am always cleaning and I like a product that does everything, why have 3 products when 1 will do?
I would say Flash is one of if not the top lead branding for cleaning products in the UK and they have been around for a long time!
The Bleach all purpose smells quite strongly but also has a nice, clean, refreshing small whicch makes the bathroom/kitchen smell clean and refreshing. It comes in 2 sizes, a 500ml or 1L bottle. The 1L bottle has a hndle to make pouring easier but the 500ml bottle does not. The price of the 500ml is around £1.20 and the larger bottle £2. Currently the larger bottle is on special offer at just £1 in sainsburys!
Other scents available are: flash all purpose with fabreeze and flash all purpose blossom and breeze with fabreeze.
I used it a lot of the time to either clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom, i just put a small amount in a bucket and use either a mop or sponge to do the cleaning (taking care to wear rubber gloves). I would say the product works very well, especially on the floors but works equally well in the bathroom!
you can also buy the flash all purpose in a spray bottle in 500ml which can be more convienient than getting the mop and sponge out all the time, especially when you just want to wipe a small area!
I like to think I do my bit around the house, with my particular little quirks coming to the fore. I hate crumbs in the kitchen even if you have just made toast. I also like the kitchen to smell clean as well as be clean and to this end there are numerous products available all of which have their merits and demerits, but it is usually Flash and Domestos I come back to.
I guess Flash cleaning products are the most well known in Britain if not the world, they have or seem to have been around for donkey's years and as such have become a well trusted brand in the cleaning game. I don't just like flash because of this although it is significant, I like the fact that the fragrances incorporated into their cleaning range aren't harsh, they are subtle and just give a little whiff to let you know all is clean and fine.
The lemon fragranced bleach cleaning agent is housed in a very pleasant and comfortable yellow bottle, which has a built in handle to help avoid bleach spillages and to facilitate the easier dispersion of the cleaner. It's quite a watery yet well fragrances liquid which is yellow in colour all be it a very faint shade of yellow. The smell is like that of Dettol and gives the user confidence in the fact that it will clean your surfaces and leave them smelling as if they are clean. I find lemon a very cleansing smell anyway, but when it is combined with the hint of bleach it becomes more so.
This bottle retails at around the £1.29-£1.49 mark although shopping around will get you a better deal. I sometimes feel though that the extra petrol and the extra time sometimes make these so called better deals not such a good thing as you might think. You don't need big puddles of this for it to work effectively, just spray it onto a fresh clean cloth and do your stuff, you will find this makes the buy better value too since you are not using excess cleaner to do a simple wipe and clean job.
I use this quite a lot and I am prone to not wearing the marrigolds when doing so. I have therefor found it amazing that it is quite gentle on my hands considering that it does contan bleach. It does perhaps dry them out a bit, but after a while they appear quite normal, not that my wife would say there was anything normal about me.
I just think Flash is one of the best cleaning ranges around and this particular part of the brand does an excellent cleaning and fragrancing job not just in the kitchen but anywhere it is needed. It works out at great value for money and does a super cleaning job. What more can you ask?
This all purpose cleaner from Flash is a very useful product to have around and I do not mind paying a little extra for a brand name as I know it is a product that I can rely on to do a good job. I paid £1.19 for a 500ml bottle in Morrisons the other day which is a reasonable price to pay. It comes in a plastic bottle with a screw lid. The bottle is easy to grip and to pour from and the minute you open it up you can smell the strong lemon fragrance.
This is an excellent product for cleaning laminate floors, I mix it with water however diluting it does not really reduce the strong lemon smell that it gives off. It is excellent for removing dirt and any marks while you mop with it and the room has a lovely fresh smell when you are finished. I have found it to be quick drying and it does not leave any marks either. Afterwards there is a clean feel to the whole room and the lemon smell lingers for a while. I find it to be particularly good on my kitchen floor and also in the bathroom.
It is great for wiping down work surfaces in the kitchen and also for tackling the tiles in the bathroom. I have also used it on the window frames and to clean the sinks and bath as well, it certainly is a versatile cleaner and because it is reasonably thick and long lasting you do not need to use a lot of it when cleaning so a bottle lasts a while.
I would certainly recommend this cleaner as it is reliable and very versatile and it leaves the house smelling nice and fresh as well.
I help with the cleaning chores around my home, I do not mind doing my fair share to help it look tidy and clean. There are so many cleaning products in the supermarkets it is sometimes hard to choose a cleaner but this one was the one that I chose because it was one that I had used quite a few times in the past.
The liquid is housed inside a clear plastic bottle with a screw off top. The top is easy to take from the bottle with a twist. The bottle has a nice base so it does not tip over when it is in a cupboard. Some bottles I sometimes buy tip over in my cupboard but this bottle is a good one.
I like to use this for cleaning my floors, I have a couple of rooms in my home that have Laminated floors and so they need to be mopped, this cleaner removes the dirt from the flooring quite nicely. It does not leave streak marks on the Laminate and it dries in no time. The liquid can be used neat on a damp cloth and rubbed into stubborn food marks or stains on surfaces.
The smell of it is a really nice, fresh Lemon fragrance, it is quite a strong smell and it has a really nice refreshing smell which is left in the room after it has been used. A lot of liquid is not needed to clean as it is a really good quality cleaner, it is good value for the price of just £1.20 for a 500ml bottle. It can often be found for much cheaper so it is wise to look around for this one and buy it when a lower price.
It is nice to clean sinks, baths, windowsills, doors, and for anything that needs to be cleaned with this type of cleaner. It cuts into grease when used on sinks and a little fat is on the base of the sink as sometimes all sinks have a little fat from foods etc, this one cuts into that grease and dissolves it. It is good for cleaning garden furniture too as I have some of those plastic chairs in my garden and a quick clean with this cleaner and it is refreshed again.
This is one that I like very much, I will keep on buying it because it cleans well around my home.
I rate it 5 stars.
I like a nice smelling fragrance with my cleaning products to make my home smell nice and fresh as it is important to me to know my home is nice and fresh smelling for both myself and my guests when they come to visit. I love it when I have cleaned and I can smell the fragrance in the rooms after cleaning as I know then that it is a product that works as it says it will on the bottle etc.
This cleaner is a really nice one, it comes in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a screw off top, there is a nice handle at the side of the bottle to hold to pour the liquid from the bottle and it is a good size to grip and if you are a man you could easily place your larger hand over it to pour just as well as I can with tiny hands.
The one I am reviewing is the Lemon fragrance and it is usually priced at around £2 for a litre bottle. I have often bought it for only £1 from Wilkinson's and other shops that sell this cleaner and so it is always best to shop around for this one to see if you can buy it much cheaper and it is often on special offer at supermarkets and I mostly buy it when I see it on offer as it makes sense and to save money.
The liquid inside is of a thin consistency but the smell of the Lemon is apparent immediately I take off the top. The smell is really strong and very pleasant and refreshing. I use it to clean a lot around my home and I really like it to clean my floors in my kitchen and bathroom. It cleans them very well and it removes any dirt or grease that may be on the flooring with little effort scrubbing the floor as I have found with some other cleaning products.
It can be diluted and I usually just place a couple of capfuls into a bucket with the hot water and this amount is sufficient enough to clean and remove the dirt perfectly. I like to use it neat quite often on a damp cloth to clean my kitchen and bathroom sinks and it is removes scum marks from my sink in my bathroom with little effort needed to remove it.
I find it dissolves the scum very well and it is also very easy to rinse from the sinks.
I like to use this one to clean anywhere around my home that a wet clean can be used and I like to also clean my windowsills and paint work with it as it removes dirty marks my grandson leaves on doors after he has been racing around my home placing his hands wherever he can and having fun etc.
It cuts into grease really well and I use it to clean my worktops in my kitchen and I have used it to clean my grandson's high chair. I also use it to clean some of his toys after he has left some chocolate or they have some sticky food marks and this cleaner does make them nice and clean for when he next comes to visit my home.
Only a little is needed to clean around my home and a little really does go a very long way and I think this is amazingly good value for money and the quality is superb.
I think it is affordable and because of the small amount needed to work it does last for quite some time for those cleaning duties.
The bottle is recyclable too and it easy fits inside a cupboard as the bottle is quite slim and not too bulky even though it is a tall bottle.
This is a longer lasting fragrance that I really do like and I highly recommend it for anyone to try as I think it is extremely good and it works and it is worth every penny in my opinion and I will continue to buy it in the future as the results are just how I like them to be for a cleaning product.
I give it 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review.
Flash All Purpose can be used on your floors, in your bathroom and in the kitchen. You can use it on virtually any surface, with the exception of untreated or waxed wood, because it will damage those materials.
You can get Flash All Purpose in a number of scents including lavender and cotton fresh, but personally I always buy the crisp lemon scent, which is a bright yellow colour.
Flash All Purpose comes in a one litre plastic bottle that has a safety cap on the top. Although it's quite secure make sure you keep it out of the reach of children, because it is full of chemicals and could cause a lot of damage in young hands.
I normally purchase a one litre bottle of Flash All Purpose and I pay between £1.00 and £2.00 for it, depending on where I get it from. It is widely available - as well as being on sale in all the major supermarkets you can also pick a bottle up from most pound and discount stores.
To use this product you should add two caps (approx 60ml) to hot or cold water. If you decide to use it without diluting it, then make sure you rinse the surface afterwards to avoid damage.
I usually mop my kitchen, bathroom and stairwell stairs with Flash All Purpose because it effectively cleans my floors and it certainly picks up the grime (the yellow soapy water is usually black by the time I'm finished with it... yuck).
Although this is an 'all purpose' product, I tend to use it on my floors. However yesterday I noticed that the walls in my stairwell were a bit grubby so I used Flash All Purpose and it easily removed dirt and grime. Also, my walls are now dry and there isn't any residue from the product - they look very clean.
I always use this product with boiling water, because I think that kills more germs and lifts more grime this way. However you can also use it with cold water, which is handy if your gas isn't on!
I am very happy with this product because not only does it successfully clean and remove dirt, but it leaves my surfaces smelling lemon fresh and you can also pick it up cheaply - one litre bottle lasts me a good few months so it's very cost effective.
I highly recommend Flash All Purpose!
I hate cleaning! and will avoid it at all costs. Sadly though, it does have to been done on a regular basis. So baring that in mind, if I can find products that will make the job quicker, easier, or preferably both.
I used to buy flash all purpose for just the floor in the kitchen, diluting a small amount in a bucket of water. Then I brought a steam mop and having almost a full bottle of this stuff left decided to try it for a few other things just to use it up.
Haha, in the end the bottle of flash lasted longer than the steam mop. But, whilst I had used the new mop on the floors I had been experimenting with the flash, trying to use it in new ways around the house.
I found it is great for wiping around the sink, worktops, cupboard doors, cleaning fridges and cleaning the woodwork in the house.
It really proved valueable for me when I moved and had a worktop with some really bad staining. I first tried bleach which helped a lot to remove most of the stain. Then I followed with this and with a bit of elbow grease, the stain alomst disappeared and the whole thing looked so much better.
Although you can buy this in a variety of frgrances now, I still tend to go for the lemon secnted as it leaves things smelling lovely and fresh and clean.
The price really does depend on where and when you shop. I have sometimes picked this up for as little as £1 for a bottle when its on offer. Other times I have had to pay as much as £2.30 for the same size. Although, having said that, a little bit goes a very long way and you only need one or two capfuls for a while floor, so it is very long lasring and good value for money.
***Please note..I am basing this review on the Flash All Purpose
Febreze range as dooyoo haven't specified a range***
Flash is a cleaning brand under the Procter and Gamble company. They offer various cleaning products for the home including sprays and liquids for the bathroom, kitchen and floors.
Flash have a range of All Purpose Cleaners which are suitable for cleaning work surfaces, floors, washrooms and other interior surfaces.
There is a selection of scents to choose from and they have combined the cleaning power of Flash with the scent of Febreze. Febreze is most commonly known as an air freshener range which eliminates odours in the air rather than masking them. Flash All Purpose allows the same, excellent cleaning experience by using cold water as it does with hot water and therefore saving energy.
Flash with Febreze is available in 3 scents :
Cotton Fresh (the current scent being reviewed).
Flash with Febreze comes in a tall, plastic bottle with a fairly large, blue lid which screws on and off. The design of the bottle depends on which size you have purchased. I have a 1l size so will base it on this.
The bottle is large but quite thin and slides in to a corner in the cleaning cupboard with ease. It has an intergrated handle for easy handling and this is suitable for those with up to medium size hands with ease. The bottle is see through allowing us to see how much is left.
There are 2 labels on the bottle. The front offers us a blue and white background. The yellow Flash logo stands out above the familiar Febreze logo. Also on the front, it shows cotton flowers and a sparkling clean floor. The label on the back tells us about the cleaner, directions for use, warnings and contact details for Procter and Gamble.
The bottle can be recycled.
If using this dliluted, you should add 2 caps (approx 60ml) to 5l of water. There is no need to rinse. This would be suitable for floors and surfaces etc.
If using neat, you need to ensure you rinse the product after use to avoid damage to surfaces.
This is a strong cleaning product and therefore should be kept away from children, kept out of eyes etc. You cannot use this on untreated or waxed wood.
<5% Non-Ionic Surfactants, Soap , Benzisothiazolinone , Glutaral , Perfumes , Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone , Butylphenyl Methylpropional , Hexyl Cinnamal , Limonene
===Availability and Price===
Flash All Purpose with Febreze can be purchased in supermarkets and other stores offering cleaning products. It is available in a 500ml and 1l size.
Asda currently have the 500ml at £1.22 and the 1l at £2.00.
In my old flat, we chose to carpet it throughout with the exception of the kitchen which we used lino for. I preferred being able to sprinkle some Shake n Vac over the carpets and give them a quick hoover to keep them fresh and clean. I did keep a floor cleaner in the cupboard for doing my kitchen and for cleaning our landing.
I had always opted for Flash All Purpose Lemon as it was fresh and I could pick it up cheap! I was first introduced to Flash with Febreze after visiting my Mum. She had just cleaned her kitchen floor and I was impressed with the fresh scent wafting around the room so I asked what she had used and she recommended this to me.
I moved into my new flat just over a week ago. The week before, I spotted this on offer in Wilkos at 98p for 1l..bargain price! Knowing that I would be cleaning laminate flooring, I snapped it up and laughed at the rrp of £2.10! The week before we moved, my Mother in Law and I were hard at work cleaning the flat to allow it to be hygenic for my son.
Although this is an All Purpose Cleaner, I specifically save it for my floors as I use sprays on my surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom. We have light, laminate flooring in our hall and 2 out of 3 of our bedrooms. We also have lino in our large kitchen and a wet floor in our bathroom. All of it is light and attracts dust and dirt which is very noticable and as I like a clean house, I regularly clean my floors to freshen them up.
The reason I chose the Cotton Fresh scent is that I have tried the Air Freshener in this scent and found it to be neutral and pleasant. The plastic bottle is fairly sturdy and the cap stays on tight though it is not a safety cap so I store it well out of Boo's reach! Just about all the information needed is on the label though I do feel Flash should have added information about where exactly you can use this cleaner as I had to read up on the internet incase I messed up! The pure blue liquid inside is bubbly on top and opening the bottle, reveals a completely fresh scent which I have come to appreciate with Febreze.
As I said, I use this to clean my floors. It specifies it can be used with cold water which is ideal as it saves me using up any gas! I don't use the cap for measuring but simply pour a tiny drop into my bucket and fill half way up with cold water. The liquid blended with the water, provides a bubbly surface in the bucket and I can get on with my cleaning. Dipping my mop in, I wring off the excess water and start sweeping across my floors.
The floor obviously becomes damp and I can see a very light, soap layer on the surface. As I sweep down the room, I noticed that any dirt and grubby marks lift off and go into my bucket rather than spreading across the floor and causing more mess! The fresh, cotton flower scent intensifies as I clean more and isn't overpowering like the Lemon one tends to become. I often apply too much water to my floors and they take forever to dry but with a light, swish of water, they dry in quickly. Once dry, the floors were smooth and shiny with no stickiness or residue left. The febreze scent was noticable for several hours and allowed my home to smell inviting and very clean which I liked. It didn't interfere with my plug in air fresheners either.
I found this to be kind to my laminate flooring and it freshened it up and made it look like I had just put it down! The wet floor in our bathroom seems to attract dirt and marks from coming out the shower but this cleaner made the floor sparkle. The lino in the kitchen approved and any food spillages swept away effortlessly, leaving a fresh faced look behind so top marks all round for floor cleaning. Obviously if someone comes into our house with dirty shoes, the floor will get mucky again but I found that using this, the dirt doesn't seem to stick to the floors as badly allowing me to not have to clean them as often.
I am so far impressed with this cleaner and find it provides excellent results along with allowing my home to smell fresh and airy so I highly recommend it. A tiny drop creates enough cleaning power for several rooms so I think this bottle will last a good length of time even with regular cleans. I am going to stock up whilst its on offer!
Thanks for reading and happy cleaning
This is a review for Flash One For All, I may have put it under the wrong item, but couldnt find the One For All in the DooYoo catalogue!
I bought my bottle of One For All from Tescos for about £1.20 about 3 months ago. It is a cleaning product that can be used to clean just about anything.
The bottle I have is the Crisp Lemons scented one. It is so easy to spot thanks to its luminous coloured liquid in a clear bottle. There is a label with the Flash brand on, and lots of lemons!! You really could not miss this product when its sat on the shelves!
The product itself has a strong, lemony smell, with a slight waft that can only be described as 'cleaning product'. This is only faint, and the powerful smell of lemons really does well to disguise this, although the lemon smell itself is really strong, and if used a lot can be a bit much. But when used on small areas it does leave a pleasant smell behind that lingers for a good amount of time.
Now, the bottle boasts that this is a one for all, meaning it should be able to be used on the majority of surfaces, although the label on the back does warn that it is unsuitable for non-washable surfaces.
So far, I have used this to clean my sink and draining board, cooker, bathroom tiles, bathroom and kitchen floor, and my laminate floor in the living room.
For tough stains, like on my cooker, I use the product neat. I just tip a bit either onto a sponge, or pour some onto the stain and leave it to soak for a while. Other times when I use it, I fill a bowl and add the product by using the easy measure lid.
I have found that even on tougher stains, it doesnt take too much elbow work to lift grime. My surfaces always look very clean, my tiles and sink are left with a great shine, and there is that faint clean smell of lemons.
For a 500ml bottle, it really does go far, and really does its job. Its a firm favourite in my cleaning cupboard. I would highly recommend this product to anybody.
Today at Sainsburys a 1 litre container of Flash One for All liquid cleaner cost me only 89p, rather a bargain. This was a half price offer.
I am usually a brand hopper, I like to try a variety of products, and will go for the cheapest or most tempting on display, but for a number of years now I have usually opted for Flash All Purpose cleaner for the bathroom and kitchen floor, and generally around the house. There are 2 main reasons,a)Ease of Use:2 capfuls in half a large bucket of water couldn't be simpler,
and b)When I have used other similar brands they seem to leave a soapy residue, which Flash doesn't, though it cleans well.
Because I like the product I will pay a bit more.Flash comes in a few different colours and perfumes, although I quite like the green pine scented one I often buy the lemon. The newest labels describe it as "Crisp Lemons" it is quite a soft lemon scent, but with an undertone of something else ?disinfectant, probably. I like this fresh smell, so I was slightly surprised recently as I was cleaning the kitchen floor, and my 23 year old daughter walked past and said "mum I hate that smell" "what smell?" "that stuff you're using, it reminds me of toilets".Oh well you can't please everyone.
I actually find that cleaning the floor or fireplace becomes quite a pleasant and satisfying experience if you use nice materials, and end up with a nice gleaming result. Unfortunately I find it quite hard to keep on top of things, but as a work colleague once famously said a bit of fluff under the bed doesn't hurt anyone. Anyway I am digressing from this revue.
Flash 1NE for All as it is now described on the label, rather than All Purpose Cleaner is manufactured by Proctor and Gamble. It cleans in cold water so you can save energy, I personally prefer to use hot, but in the interest of energy conservation, perhaps should try cold. Will do.
If used neat you should always rinse, but if diluted there is no need. A warning is given on the label not to use on non-washable surfaces e.g.waxed or untreated wood, but you can use it diluted on painted an varnished surfaces, if in doubt test first ona hidden area before use as suggested on the label.
Other warnings given on the label are:
Keep away from children
Rinse and dry hands after use.
Keep away from eyes.If it gets into eyes rinse thoroughly with water.
Avoid prolongued contact with product if you have sensitive or damaged skin.
Freephone UK is 0800 028 3292 in UK if you need more advice.
Despite using the diluted product over a number of years have never noticed any skin reaction, although I do not wear gloves.
