ABOUT: This product has the cleaning power of Flash and the degreasing power of Fairy liquid all in one. This particular product has been designed for use in the kitchen and is perfect for hobs, inside and out of ovens, walls, surfaces, cupboard doors, microwaves and more. It's unsuitable for non-washable surfaces though such as untreated or oiled wood.
PRICE: I managed to purchase a bottle of this from my local Poundland store.
IN USE: I first used this product in the microwave which was in our new house. The microwave was filthy so I used this product inside along with a cloth scourer and a soft cloth and I was able to remove all the stuck on food and dirt fairly easily. This also works well on hobs and ovens although I do spray the product and then wipe it. The spray gets rid of grease, dirt and grime and leaves things looking nice and clean. The product has a nice fresh fragrance which isn't too strong and it doesn't smell of that typical chemical/bleach smell like some other cleaners.
OVERALL: This is a great kitchen cleaning product and one that I will continue to use and always have under the kitchen sink.
I love to have a clean home. I have to start my day doing the pre-school run and then while my son plays with his toys for a bit I have to have a blitz of the kitchen. For this reason I always have some kind of kitchen cleaner in, although it always changes. I don't tend to stick to one brand of cleaner I just go for what's on offer. The latest one I have been using is this Flash citrus kitchen cleaner. It was on offer in Asda for £1 so I picked it up to give it a go!
USING THE CLEANER
It is in a spray bottle that the nozzle can be turned to off when not using. When spraying out the cleaner it comes out in a white foamy bubbly consistency.
The instructions tell you to spray on to your surface or area you need cleaning, leave for a few minutes and then wipe off. I did this on a food stain on my cooker (my messy husband had cooked the evening before and never cleans up properly after himself! Drives me crazy but I guess that's another story!!), I left the spray on for a few minutes while I did a bit of washing up. When I came back to it the foamy consistency was now much more liquid like and flatter. I wiped off the cleaner and it brought the stain right off.
I have used it on tougher kitchen stains, it still does a great job but needs a little more elbow grease! Still far better than other cleaners I have tried.
When it comes to grease it is great. When I use this in my kitchen it seems to just cut right through any grease and leaves my work surfaces sparkling!
Now, this cleaner states it is a citrus smelling cleaner. It is, however I think the smell of bleach and other chemicals over powers any citrus fragrance. You can still smell the citrus but not as strong as you might expect.
This isn't a problem for me at all as I like my house to smell like bleach and proper cleaning products so I know it feels clean! That's just me though, if you're looking for something with a stronger citrus smell this one probably isn't for you!
Would I recommend? Yes I would.
I think this product is really great value for money, even though I probably go a bit over board and use loads it still seems to last me quite a while (compared to other cleaners anyway!).
For me it smells great and leaves my kitchen clean to my standard. It doesn't leave any marks or streaks like some other cleaners I've tried have.
5/5 for me!

My boyfriend bought this kitchen cleaner when I sent him over to the local convenience store after running out. Before this I had been using Tesco own grapefruit cleaner spray.
The spray comes in a 500ml white plastic spray bottle with a trigger spray at the top. The label on the bottle has pictures of oranges on and states "Grease cutting power"
The label on the back tells you the normal warnings and tells you where not to use this cleaner spray.
The cleaner is a nice, zingy orange fragrance but unfortunately (in my kitchen at least) the smell faded pretty fast which was a shame.
The trigger spray was nice and accurate and went where it was meant to - it didn't end up all up the walls and over my arms!
I sprayed this directly onto my surfaces and the wiped over with a damp cloth and was left with clean surfaces and no streaky residue like you can sometimes get with cleaners.
For tricky little places I sprayed this onto a sponge and then wiped and had just as good results.
I would buy this cleaner again
Thank you for looking
I try to keep my home cleaning routine and products used as simple as possible. I don't want a kitchen cupboard full of sprays, disinfectants, cloths and all other kinds of items. If I can buy things that are multi purpose then that's ideal. But because right now I want to do a major blitz of my home, and starting with the kitchen, I bought this product from my local Asda store for £1.00 for a 500ml bottle.
Why did I buy it?
I bought it for a couple of reasons. I know that the ' Flash ' products tend to be quite hard working, and that would fit in with my kitchen overhaul major clean programme. The price was perfect and not expensive, and I don't recall Ive ever used this before and wanted to see how well it worked.
How is it packaged?
This product comes in a white plastic bottle with a trigger lever at the top to release the product when squeezed ( you have to turn the nozzle to open and to close ). On the front the ' Flash ' logo is bold and noticeable on the label. Underneath you have the word ' Kitchen '. It tells you what the product does and where its suitable for. It mentions it has some form of collaboration with the brand Fairy, and that the fragrance of this is citrus.
On the back it tells you where you can use this product, how to use, what its not suitable for, general warnings in regards to use and company contact details.
<5% Non-Ionic Surfactants, Soap, Perfume, Citral, Linalool, Limonene
Where can it be used?
Product can be used on the cooker hob, inside and outside the oven, walls and surfaces, cupboards, microwaves etc.
Not suitable for non washable surfaces such as untreated wood.
How to use
Rinse and wipe with a damp cloth. For tougher soils, leave on for up to 3 minutes before wiping.
How do I find it?
Its quite a slim and tall bottle, so it doesn't take too much space underneath the skin. The trigger mechanism is easy to squeeze and requires very little effort and strength, so easy to use. The force and thickness of spray is just right for me, as a decent amount of product comes out per spray, and I don't feel I need to use too much.
You do get a citrus smell to it, but it has a hint of floral. It means its very pleasant to smell, and not overpowering and quite subtle not only to use but also wherever the product is being placed. Its fresh and uplifting, but for me would like the fragrance to be a touch stronger and more long lasting.
This product cleans very well. It makes my kitchen surfaces more shiny, removes dirt and especially grease and heat stains very well, and I don't feel as if I have to use much elbow grease which means a product that's very easy to use.
I didn't realise I could use this in the oven ( not too sure whether I will or not ), but that would be a huge test to see how hardworking it is, because mine is due a major clean!
Would I buy again? Yes I would. I think the product itself delivers good results, and really makes light work of some difficult cleaning in the kitchen e.g grease. It can be used on a variety of different surfaces and potentially afew appliances which I wasn't even aware of at the time or purchase, but I see this as an added bonus. The fragrance is perfect for the kitchen and very pleasant, but will mark a point down because I would've liked it to have made more of an impact and be stronger ( but that's my preference ).
Overall a good product for a £1.00!
I don't really stick to any brands of cleaning products as the big names are often on offer, so pick up whatever is on offer at the time, like this Flash kitchen and degreasing spray. It was on offer for £1 so I snapped it up.
Although I picked this kitchen spray up when it was on offer for £1, it usually cots around the £2 mark, and can be found in most places that sell cleaning products of this type, such as your local supermarket.
The Flash kitchen spray comes in a plastic bottle with the trigger type nozzle allowing you to easily spray whatever surface you wish to clean. The bottle displays all of the normal information. The sticker on the front of the bottle has a picture of a kitchen so you know what room to use the spray in.
Flash is easy to use, simply turn the end of the nozzle onto the on position and pull the trigger. This will make the spray come out, once it hit's the surface is does begin to bubble right away. Once it is sprayed you are met with a strong citrus smell, I personally think it's a little too strong, it's not overpowering though. I guess it has to be quite strong to mask the disinfectant smell you get with most cleaning products.
After leaving the spray for a few seconds you can tell that the spray has got to work already as it doesn't take much scrubbing to get the grease and grime away. I've found the best results in my microwave and on the top of the oven. The kitchen spray doesn't leave any horrible residue from the cleaner and leaves everything looking shiny and clean. The smell from the spray doesn't last very long, I think this is a good thing as the citrus scent is a little too strong for my liking.
I'd definitely recommend this spray, at £1 a bottle when it's on offer, it is cheap. I don't think it's one I would buy if it wasn't on offer, even though it does clean very well, the scent lets it down for me.

I enjoy trying out different cleaning products as I am a bit of a neat freak, it's fair to say, and so when I am shopping, now and then I will buy something I have never tried before. I really like Flash's Bathroom Spray, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with their kitchen equivalent.
This comes in a white plastic 500ml bottle with a sturdy trigger spray. The label is bright orange and really looks fresh and zingy.
While this is citrus, I do think the smell is mainly 'bleachy' with only a hint of citrus scent. I don't mind the strong smell - I think it makes the kitchen smell very clean and fresh, but some people may not be keen.
USAGE AND EFFECTIVENESS
To use this, you spray it onto the surface (obviously!) and wipe it off with either a damp or dry cloth. I always use a damp cloth. I have used this on my kitchen counter, sink, draining board and hob. I found that each spray didn't cover a particularly large surface area, so I had to spray it several times - therefore I imagine I will be going through the bottle rather quickly. The spray comes out very foamy, and when you wipe it off, it does leave a foamy residue over the surfaces. You can either make a point of rinsing this off, which is a hassle, or, like me, you can just leave it to dry off naturally - which it will do.
As promised on the bottle, this cuts through grease, and I found this extremely effective when I used it to clean the hob after cooking.
For more ground-in dirt or stains, you spray it on and leave it for up to 3 minutes. I did this on my microwave plate which had spillages on it, and I was able to wipe it completely clean afterwards. You can also use this to clean the oven.
The packaging says you can use this on walls also - I personally haven't used it on the walls, but I see no reason why this wouldn't leave my white kitchen tiles gleaming.
This costs £1.99 for a 500ml bottle, which I believe is pretty standard for a product of this type. Some cleaning sprays can be over the £2 or even £3 mark, so I think the price is very good indeed. I don't think a more expensive product would be any better than this, to be honest.
WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?
I would definitely buy this again, and I will be. It's reasonably priced, leaves the kitchen smelling clean, and cleans a range of surfaces. I can't ask for any more.
I love having a clean home. I feel very panicked and nervous when it's getting a bit messy so cleaning is something I enjoy because I know that my mental state will be much more relaxed and at ease afterwards. I am always on the lookout for new cleaning products to try and often try something I haven't tried before when there is an offer on.
I am a big fan of the Flash bathroom cleaner so when I saw the equivalent for the kitchen on an offer when I last ordered from Ocado I snapped some up. I believe that I paid around £1 for this with the usual selling price around the £2 mark.
The cleaner comes in a 500ml trigger spray. The bottle is opaque white with a large flash sticker telling us about the product.
Using the product is very easy. You simply spray onto your surface and then either wipe immediately with a damp cloth or leave to work for a few minutes and then wipe. I usually leave mine to work for a few minutes because the kitchen can get quite sticky and therefore this allows the product to shift any grime making your job easier.
The product comes out as a thick foam. It is nearly white in colour but it does have a yellow tint. Each spray dispenses a good amount of the product - around the diameter of a mug and this will easily clean around a metre squared of work surface if not more.
The foam has a lovely subtle lemon scent and I find this a nice fresh scent but it is not too strong or overpowering.
The foam wipes away easily and removes any grime with ease. For some unknown reason my partner seems incapable of getting his sugar in his mug when making a cup of coffee so the work surfaces often feel gritty and sticky. The foam removes this with ease.
After using this the work surfaces look shiny and I do feel that it leaves some sort of barrier because things do seem to remain cleaner for longer.
The only gripe I have with this is the bottle. With it being opaque it is difficult to see how much is left, a small windows would be great.
I really like this product. It removes stubborn dirt easily and leaves the kitchen smelling fresh and clean. I will definitely buy this again.
I really like this product. Before buying this I would only buy the product that was cheapest / on offer in the super market - I just assumed they all did the same job. However, eventually Flash was on offer and I bought it - not I always but this product. It is occasionally on offer in the supermarket for £1ish, so still a bargain when you can find it. I find this product different as when you spray it fizzes straight away, so when you wipe it, it actually cleans the surface, rather than just dissolve into water and not do anything. It always lifts the stain from the worktop without problem and I also use it on a stainless steel cooker top and it hasn't stained this. Our kitchen worktops are shinny and it does leave a water stain if you don't dry it, but I just use a dish cloth to wipe over it once everywhere is cleaned and this takes away the water marks and leaves a great shine!
Before I started doing my big kitchen clean up, I went out and prepared myself with plenty of cleaning products. I knew it was going to be a big job and I wanted to make sure I had something to tackle every area of the kitchen to make my job as easy as possible. I came across this Flash Kitchen & Degreasing Spray Citrus Fresh and decided it was just the thing to give me a helping hand.
~Flash Kitchen & Degreasing Spray Citrus Fresh~
This kitchen spray is in a white trigger style plastic bottle with a bright orange color around the top of it. I chose this one because of the degreasing capabilities, knowing I had a tough job of removing lots of grease around different areas of the kitchen. The cooker being the most obvious thing to clean using this spray, actually worked quite well, it made the job of having to rub the top of the cooker vigorously a lot easier, I didn't have to rub very hard at all as this spray seemed to lift the tough dirty greasy bits very well. I sprayed the top of the cooker with this spray and left it for a while to do what it had to do. I was impressed with how easily the dirt and grease lifted and was left with a nice shiny cooker top once I had finished. Other areas around the kitchen where I used this spray included the microwave, inside and out and that too came up rather nicely.
Not only does this spray do a good job of lifting the grease, it also provided me with a nice citrusy smell whilst I was cleaning. A nice strong scent, however once the job was done it wasn't long before I couldn't really smell it anymore, but then again that could have been because of the various other cleaning products I had around the kitchen, When I bleached the floor at the end of my clean up that overpowered everything in the kitchen, but I just love the strong clean smell of bleach, I know things are really clean when I can smell bleach.
This spray has proved very useful whilst I've been cleaning my kitchen, I have not suffered any adverse effects by using it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make them tough greasy jobs a little easier.
Please remember to keep products such as these away from small children.
The list of ingredients and other information on this product can be found on http://www.flashcleaner.co.uk/
I picked this Flash Kitchen & Degreasing Spray Citrus Fresh up from the market and it only cost me about 79p for the 500ml bottle, but this can be picked up from most supermarkets for around £1.00
I'm going to give this Flash Kitchen & Degreasing Spray Citrus Fresh 4 stars it's good and does the job well but the smell faded to fast for me.
Thank you for reading my review which may also be posted on other sites.
