“ Brand: Flash / Type: All Purpose Cleaner / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
It's been deep clean time in the Springtide household. After a very busy summer our home has got a distinctly lived in look and some serious cleaning is taking place. I am particularly fond of the Flash All Purpose Cleaner which I started using last year. Always on the look out for things that simplify my life this offers, as stated on the reverse label, "A universal solution for your entire home so you don't need hundreds of cleaners under the sink", I have found that used correctly this has simplified my cleaning and has the big plus of a great lemon smell too. My 1litre container is made of opaque plastic through which you can see the very lurid, almost neon yellow glow of the liquid. Don't be put off by this colour, I have never found that it has tainted anything. Under the tightly fitting top, mine is blue , is a label that claims "Brilliant Clean with 1/2 the effort." There is also a qualifier that this is versus the next best selling brand tested on grease but it is still an impressive claim. The label on the front is in shades of blue and yellow with some jolly looking lemons indicating the fragrance. On the reverse we are told that it dissolves grease and dirt and leaves an intense shine. How to use. This can be used neat, in which case it must always be rinsed, or, as I generally use it 2 cup fulls in a 5litre bucket of water. In this second case there is no need to rinse. Only use diluted on painted and varnished surfaces. if you are at all worried try out a test piece first on a hidden area. Do not use on non-washable surface like waxed wood or untreated wood. Where I use it. I have just cleaned all the surfaces in the kitchen with two cap fulls diluted in a bucket of water and a cloth, I also wore glove. This included, the tiles which cover all the walls, the microwave exterior, the fan extractor, the fridge doors, the cabinet fronts which are sealed wood, the door frames and the floor which is also tiled. For the walls I had to change the water a few times! The kitchen is now sparkly clean with a lovely lemon smell. all surfaces responded well. Spanish plumbing is not what it should be and I sometimes pour this liquid neat down the sinks to get rid of any pongs as it is such a nice smell, the floors also get a mopping using the diluted mixture, these are marble. No we are not posh that's just how it is in Spain!, this leaves the flat with a fresh lemon smell and not a fresh dog smell from my Golden Retriever. My Opinion. I now buy a few of these if I see them on special offer and it has become a firm favourite. Although it has the normal safety cautions like keep away from children and do not get in your eyes, it does not stress that your floor must be dry before you can let your pet walk on it. This is a big advantage for me as I tend to worry about other cleaners that say this. Neither do you have to avoid some types of metal or marble which makes it easy for me to use both at home and at work where there are a variety of surfaces to clean. I do know that I bought the last bottle for about a pound on special offer for 1litre and I shall continue to keep using my lemony multi tasker. 5 stars from me, a great versatile cleaner. Rinse and dry hands after use, if you have sensitive skin avoid prolonged contact with the product. Made by Proctor and Gamble, the bottle is recyclable. Thanks for reading my review which may also be posted on Ciao.
Flash All Purpose Crisp Lemon - Available in 500 ml, 1 litre, and 1.5 litre - 1 Litre is £2.29 at ASDA The product shown is also available in other flavours. The product claims to have a strong formula, and as such it will cut through grease and grime. It claims to leave no residue, and says it will leave your surfaces sparkling. It also states that it will achieve all of this if used with cold water. I have found that the product to be very effective at cleaning up in greasy areas (for example the kitchen). I tend to use it on my kitchen floor, and the cleaning action is in fact great. It has never left residue, (except the one time I let my niece mop my floor, and she used half the bottle but that will teach me to let her loose in the kitchen). It has whenever I have used it left my surfaces sparkling, and wonderfully clean. I have used the product in cold water - by putting it into a spray bottle to use as other spray products when I have run out part way through a spring clean, and it was effective, however it isn't antibacterial. I have used the lemon product and found the scent to be refreshing although a bit chemically (but I wasn't wearing it, so it wasn't offensive)... The other 'flavours' that I have used have been equally nice, and fresh smelling. The product seems to live up to all of it's promises, and is perfectly effective. However there are some other products out there that will give you more bang for your cleaning buck - (and require less elbow grease to achieve the same effect)... So it does only get 4 out of 5 stars, but I still recommend it as it does do the job, just not as well as other products out there.
After treating my self to a new mop and bucket set (vileda mop £2.99 and bucket £5.88) I decided to try a new floor cleaner as for ages I used stardrops all round and stardrops with ammonia (formerly starclens) and I think it was all I had. Before I bought this flash my mum brought a massive 5ltr flash with febreze (cotton fresh), the only trouble I found with this when I mopped the floor with this was it left a smell on the mop, it stank so bad I had to re-rinse the mop and it still smelt bad! But anyway the flash with febreze left the floors clean and the rooms smelling fresh! Anyway roll on flash lemon all purpose cleaner. LOOKS, PRICE AND SMELL My flash came in a 500ml bottle with a blue screw top on the top which doubles up as the measuring cap, my flash is price marked at £1 (manufactuers recommended retail price) and the middle has the familiar FLASH logo with clean and shine underneath, then, on the bottom is crisp lemons and 500ml all purpose cleaner. The background picture is a sparkling tile floor with all of these words shining on the other side of the shiny floor. The back of the bottle has another sticker but this time it is a white background and it says at the top "Fash CLEAN AND SHINE is the All-Purpose Cleaner that offers you a universal solution for your entire home, so you don't need hundreds of cleaners under the sink!" It also states that flash clean and shine Dissolves Grease And Dirt Leaves Intensse Freshness And Brilliant Shine! Are these true? Yes they are! To use flash you either dilute or use neat. To dilute you use two capfuls (=60ml) per 5 litres of water, to use neat pour onto a cloth or sponge or directly onto surface then rinse. MY EXPERIENCES WITH FLASH CLEAN AND SHINE I used flash clean and shine for my bathroom, on the bath and shower they scrubbed up very well, and the bath is gleamin and you can even see your face in my tiles (that dosen't happen very often lol!) I then used it for cleaningmy floor, I used 2 capfuls (=60ml) to 5 litres of water (measured out!) and I began to mop. My floors were shining when they dried and my mop smelt nice too! The water in the bucket was an extremely dark lime green colour! So I knew my flash was working1 SUMMARY In my opinion this flash is the best cleaner and the nicest smeller too! Try it and it is buy one get one free (BOGOF) at tesco and £1.39, (half price) at morrisons for a mega size 1.4ltr bottle and the 700ml spray! Great bargain! Thanks for reading my review!
I have bought quite a few cleaning products from Flash over the years and it is a brand that I have come to trust. One product of theirs that I always do have in my cupboard (I tend to experiment with cleaning products quite a bit rather than remaining loyal to one in particular) is this Flash Lemon Multi Purpose Cleaner. As cleaning fluids go, this one is quite distinctive. It comes in quite a big bottle - I have a 2 litre bottle - which is a see-through but cloudy plastic, with a handle on the side for lifting as, when full, it is quite heavy! This cost me £3.50, but it can also be purchased in a smaller 1 litre bottle for a little over £2. This may be better for some as the 2 litre bottle is quite bulky and difficult to store. Through the plastic bottle, you can see the cleaning fluid. This is a bright, bright yellow in colour and almost like water in consistency - very runny indeed. The bottle is a screw cap but with a child safety lock, which I can find quite tricky to open at times. The label on front of the bottle makes various claims - cuts through grease, dries to a shine and works in cold water. The latter, I have never tested as, although this would be energy saving, I prefer to clean using warm water. The cleaner is, as stated, a multi purpose cleaner so can be used on work surfaces and tiled floors. I tend to use it mainly to clean my kitchen and bathroom floors. To use, you dilute the cleaner in water as instructed and simply use this to wipe over the areas to be cleaned, with no need to rinse off. The cleaning fluid is very strongly scented with lemons and, even once diluted, smells really fresh and clean. This scent remains in my kitchen for some hours after cleaning so really makes the room feel fresh and clean. As a cleaner, it is easy to use and does lift off dirt and grease without too much need for scrubbing. After mopping my floor with this, all dirt patches are lifted and I feel confident that my floor is clean. It can then be left to dry. Once dry, my floor looks and feels clean. Importantly, it does not feel sticky or tacky where the liquid has dried and it does not dry patchy or streaky. I am really impressed with the finish, although I would not say that it 'dries to a shine' as claimed. Overall, this is a good cleaning product and versatile too. The bottle does last me a long time so I don't mind paying that bit extra that you do for a branded product. It works well and leaves the room smelling fresh and clean. Definitely recommended.
When it comes to cleaning floors for years I only used Stardrops. I liked the fact a little went a long way and with hindsight I think I got stuck in a rut with it. A year or so ago I picked up Flash Clean & Shine Crisp Lemons on offer and decided to give it a go instead. Designed as an all purpose cleaner, I bought it specifically for my floors as I am one of those people who like to have products which excel at a certain job. This flies in the fact of the advice on the label which says Flash Clean & Shine is a "universal solution for your entire home - so you don't need hundreds of cleaners under the sink". Oh well - the people at Flash haven't met me then. Please note this is the same product as Flash One for All - Flash in their wisdom changed the name to "Clean and Shine". ~~The Product~~ I usually buy Flash Clean & Shine in one litre bottles but it's also available in 500 ml bottles and I have seen larger bottles which I think are 2 litres. I try to buy this on offer as much as possible and I find that just a little shopping around will invariably turn this up at just a pound a bottle. I always buy the Crisp Lemons version of Flash but it is available in other varieties including some which contain Febreze. Having tried an Aerial detergent with Febreze and being heartily unimpressed I haven't ever tried them however. I love the smell of lemons anyway so Crisp Lemons is perfect for me. The cleaning fluid is an almost fluorescent yellow in colour - and I have noticed that it leaves bright yellow residue on the bottle and the cap if you don't wipe spillages after use. It smells quite obviously of lemons too but there is a chemical tinge to the fragrance. I don't mind this in a cleaning product however. ~~Using the Product~~ I only use Flash Clean & Shine Crisp Lemons to clean my floor but it's worth noting you can use it neat on stubborn stains or dilute some yourself to use a general cleaning spray. I always use two capfuls of the product in my bucket and Flash recommend you add 5 litres of water. I always add hot water and find this produces a huge amount of froth in the bucket. When I first used Clean & Shine I was a bit worried. One of the reasons I had tired of using Stardrops was the fact I frequently had to rinse the floor after mopping and the claims on the Flash bottle that the floor wouldn't need rinsing didn't seem to tally with the froth in the bucket. This is deceiving however as the froth quickly dies down and it definitely doesn't stick about on the surfaces you are cleaning. I use this on tile, laminate and vinyl flooring, as well as cleaning my doorsteps and it leaves no residue behind. When cleaning my hard floors I always vacuum them first and then I use a Vileda Supermocio system which works a treat with the Flash Clean & Shine, making very light work of mopping. My hallway has light coloured laminate flooring and the Flash cuts through muddy footprints and other dirt brought into the house. In winter when the weather was particularly bad I found myself mopping the hallway at least once a day but if I am targeting just footprints near the front door I half the dose to 1 cap in 2.5 litres of water to help make the Flash last a little longer. My washing machine has a bad habit of leaking fabric softener on to the kitchen floor just underneath the machine and this leaves unsightly marks on the floor. This is another job the Flash can tackle with no problems whatsoever. One bucketful of Flash cleans my hallway and my (admittedly small) kitchen floor easily. I again tend to only use half the dose to do my bathroom floor because again, it's very small. I also use Flash Clean & Shine Crisp Lemons to clean my white UPVC door frames which can catch rather a lot of dirt - especially when it rains. It's very effective for this job too. When it's time to empty the bucket the one thing that always strikes me is the yellow tone the water takes on. I never noticed this when I first used the Flash because my bucket is red but you definitely see yellow water coming out of your bucket no matter what colour it is - tinged with the dirt that's been mopped from your floor of course! Because I use the Vileda Supermocio system I find that my floors dry off relatively quickly but even once they are dry the aroma of lemon lingers for quite some time afterwards, which I must admit I love. It really does add to the freshness of my hallway and kitchen once I have cleaned them. There are some safety instructions to follow when using Flash Clean & Shine and I think they are worth mentioning here. The cleaning fluid can only be used on painted and varnished surfaces and cannot be used on non-washable surfaces - for example waxed or untreated wood. The fluid should be kept away from children and also kept away from eyes, with the label advising if the product gets into your eyes to rinse thoroughly with water. Flash also warn that people with sensitive or dmaged skin should avoid prolonged contact with the product. Ingredients are:- <5% Non-Ionic Surfactants, Soap , Benzisothiazolinone , Glutaral , Perfumes , Citral , Hexyl Cinnamal , Limonene , Linalool , Citronellol. The bottle is made from plastic and can be recycled. ~~Conclusion~~ I have to say I have been so impressed with Flash Clean & Shine Crisp Lemons that I wouldn't actually want to use another floor cleaner now. I like the ease of use, the fact it cuts through dirt and grease without having to be rinsed and on top of all that it leaves behind a lovely lemon fragrance. You do need to use quite a lot of product when cleaning your floors which is perhaps a bit of a disadvantage and if you pay full price for it, it can seem quite expensive - certainly the RRP of £2 for 1 litre seems steep when it's available in so many places for half that so I do advise shopping around. Overall I love this for cleaning floors and highly recommend it.
My Mum has used the recent cut price cleaning product event at Asda to stock up on all manner of cleaning products, not only for her but also for me as I'm planning to move out soon. One product which we both thought was really good value was a 1 litre bottle of Flash One for All Crisp Lemons Multi Purpose Cleaner. It costs just £1 in Asda at the moment; I saw it last week in Lidl for about £1.50 so it is a good buy, especially for so much of the product. The cleaner comes in a large 1 litre clear plastic bottle, through which you can see the luminous yellow liquid inside; it's certainly a product which stands out on the shelves! The labelling clearly displays the well known Flash logo and promises "brilliant shine". The bottle has a useful handle on one side, making it a lot easier to pour, especially as the bottle it quite heavy when full. The blue lid screws on making the product secure but not child proof as it's easy to undo, the liquid is dispensed through a hole in the top. Flash One for All Crisp Lemons claims to be a "universal cleaner for hard surfaces in the home", it also promises to "leave brilliant shine, intense freshness and dissolve grease and dirt". The cleaner can also be used in both hot and cold water, making it great for using to wash floors in a bucket of warm water as well as being diluted into a spray bottle for use on any surfaces throughout the home. I have mainly used Flash One for All for cleaning the kitchen floor, to use its recommended that you dilute two capfuls of the cleaner in 5 litres of water. I'm not sure how big our bucket is but I presume it's about 5 litres and tend to use a couple of capfuls and then fill the bucket up, the water gets lovely and bubbly and the fresh scent of lemons instantly fills the kitchen. I tend to rinse out my mop really well and start cleaning the floor, I find that the solution effortlessly cleans any marks on the floor and removes all dirt. We don't tend to have many stubborn marks on our kitchen floor but any tough stains are easily removed after one or two mops over. I have also diluted the cleaner in cold water into a spray bottle, I use this on kitchen work surfaces and our kitchen how, it easily cleans even the most stubborn marks although sometimes the solution does need leaving for a few minutes to get to work. After using the solution the kitchen is left smelling lovely and citrusy and fresh, it really does smell clean for quite a while after use. I've been really pleased when using Flash One for All, the scent is lovely and everything is left looking and smelling really clean. All marks are easily removed using this solution; it's especially good for floors but works well anywhere in the home. It's a great price as it does so many jobs, a must buy.
Flash is part of the Procter and Gamble company. The brand offers a range of home cleaning products from sprays to liquids and wipes. They have products to cover kitchens, bathrooms and floors. ~~All Purpose From Flash~~ The All Purpose Cleaners from Flash come in spray and bottle form. There are a few different scents available include Lavender and Febreze. One All Purpose Cleaner offered is the Crisp Lemons one. This scent is available in spray, liquid and wipes so what you choose with depend on your circumstances. The liquid All Purpose Cleaner, claims to be suitable for around the home and therefore limits the amount of cleaners you need to have under your sink. It has a few key claims : *dissolves grease and dirt *leaves freshness behind *brilliant shine *works in cold water *works on hard, washable surfaces around the home ~~Packaging~~ The cleaner comes housed within a tall, clear plastic bottle with a handle at the side. It is completed with a blue lid which doubles up as a measuring cup. The information required is present on the bottle. Inside, the liquid is an intense yellow colour. The bottle can be recycled. ~~Using~~ This cleaner can be used diluted or neat. If used neat, it must always be rinsed but there is no need to rinse if used diluted. 2 lidfuls (approx 60ml) should be diluted in 5l of water. It should be kept away from children and avoid contact with eyes etc. ~~Availability and Price~~ Flash All Purpose Lemon is available in supermarkets and where ever stocks cleaning products such as Wilkinsons. A 500ml bottle is priced around £1.20 with a 1l priced around £2.00. ~~My Experience~~ Although cleaning isn't my favourite task, I am obsessed with ensuring my home is gleaming and smelling lovely. Whilst I use plug ins for consistent scents around my home, I do have a collection of sprays and liquids under my sink. I have certain sprays for my surfaces and sink and another for my bathroom. One product I have is the All Purpose Cleaner from Flash. Although marketed as being an all purpose household cleaner, I use it only for certain cleaning chores much preferring a spray liquid for others. As far as I can remember, I purchased this a few months ago in the 1l size and it was probably on offer. I had just used up my bottle of Flash with Febreze at the time. The bottle is ideally designed for easy handling and the contents being a luminous yellow, make it very visible from the shelves! The measuring cap is also ideal as I can measure out the required liquid easily with no other items needed. ~~Citrus For My Floors and Bins~~ Although I don't condone sniffing products like this, the scent hits you on opening the bottle. It is very citrussy and has a zingy twist about it as well as an airy, fresh undertone running through it. I use this primarily for cleaning my kitchen bin and my floors. I have laminate/tiled flooring across every room except my livingroom and my sons room. For my bins, I usually pour 2 cupfuls into the bin and then pop it under the shower hose. Filling it up about half way, the water mixing with the cleaner offers a fresh, citrussy aroma that travels around my bathroom. The colour remains intense in the plastic bin and I normally use tepid water and leave it to soak for an hour or so. Pouring the water out, any food or dirt that has managed to dislodge from the rubbish, pours out and down the drain. The inside of my bin appears sparkly clean and hygenic. The lemony scent lingers effortlessly and I can still notice it when I put in a clean bag and take it out to the bin the next day. For cleaning my floors, I pour 2 capfuls in again but into my bucket and mix it up with the mop. I usually use cold water here and the results are the same as if I had used boiling hot water. The liquid mixes well and I can get on with cleaning. I sweep the floors to get any noticeable hairs and crumbs and then go from one end of the floor to the other with trusty mop. I don't use much water and cleaner on my mop as I tend to wring it out quite well to ensure my floors aren't soaking wet! I experience a gorgeous, fresh aroma of sweet lemons as I sweep the mop across the floor. The water mixed with the liquid provides a high standard of cleaning. Any dirt marks from mucky feet are effortlessly lifted and I can see where I have cleaned as it shines quite a bit! By the time I am finished, the dirt can be seen in the water within the bucket which is poured down the toilet and I can admire my work! The floors dry up quite quickly which is ideal as I had having to avoid certain areas of my home to avoid slippage. I normally wash the floors when my son is at his Grans and its usually a Friday so I know he won't run out his room and slip. As the floor dries, the scent of the lemons fills my home and gives a fresh, clean aroma which I appreciate. Once fully dried, there is no residue left and my floors are perfectly clean and freshened up. They keep a clean shine for a day or so and then start to look less clean but this is to be expected with people walking up and down. ~~Conclusion~~ Despite being a bit higher priced at than supermarket brands, Flash is well worth it as it performs brilliantly and the scent emitted around my home is perfect. My bottle has only a small amount left now but it has survived weekly floor and bin cleans. It lifts dirt with no effort on my part and leaves everything clean and fresh. There really isn't any negatives I can include here so full 5 star recommendation from me. Thanks for reading :)
We have linoleum floors across our kitchen and hallway and for some rather stupid reason we chose the lightest possible colour so, despite our best efforts and despite doormats it always attracts mud and other general stains. So, to try and combat this rather annoying ongoing problem we bought Flash. I chose this brand because they seem to have been around forever and the longer a brand have been around the more I seem to trust them - after all they've stood the test of time. I chose the Flash One For All with lemon because there is something about the smell of lemon that says "clean". Packaging ~~~~~~~ The bottle it comes in is clear plastic with a handle built into the right hand side of the bottle, there is also a lime green lid - a yellow lid would have made more sense to me but there you go! Through the bottle you can see the product inside which is a transparent fluorescent yellow. The label on the front has a picture of lemons and leaves. It tells me that this is Flash One For All and that it uses less energy when used with cold water and produces more shine then "imitation brands". The label on the back tells me that the bottle contains 200litres and can be used either diluted (2 capfuls to 5litres) or neat. It also claims to work when used with cold water. There are also contact details and warnings. The warnings are pretty standard but include: do not use on non-washable surface, only use it diluted on painted and varnished surfaces and those with sensitive or damaged skin should avoid prolonged contact. It also tells me that the bottle is recyclable. Use and Results in Hot Water ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Neat: Since I use this product on the floor I don't use it neat very often but when I did for this review it did clean well and the scent, although the underlying scent of lemons was there the scent was more chemically then anything else I would say and so this was disappointing. It also didn't linger on the surface since the directions say to rinse off when used neat and this seemed to remove any scent that would have lingered. It did however leave a very nice shine and removed every trace of dirt including some very stubborn stains that other cleaning products had failed to remove. Diluted: I usually use this product diluted and pour just a small blob into my bucket. I know it says two capfuls per 5 litres but I don't know how big our bucket is and can't be bothered to measure it each time so a small blob is enough for me. When poured into the bucket first it produces a fair amount of bubbles and colours the water a fluorescent yellow. This is actually strangely reassuring in regards to it's cleaning ability. The smell is immediately obvious and fills the whole room. You can smell the lemon but again, the scent is mainly that of chemicals. The mop I use is one that you can squeeze out before spreading on the floor and so I dunk the whole thing into the water, squeeze out as much as possible and then mop the floor. Despite actually having very little water and therefore Flash on the mop it did pick up all dirt and grime, including stubborn stairs and dried on mud with very little effort. One (occasionally two for the most stubborn stains) mops over the floor was enough to remove all the dirt. The chemically smell lasted while I was mopping but once the floor had dried it just smelled fresh and clean and although it did smell of lemons you could tell that the scent was chemically enhanced and not natural. This smell lingered for around two to three hours leaving the room smelling and looking freshly cleaned. It really did bring up a very nice shine to the floor and this lasted for around two days before fading and looking like it needed cleaning again. Use and Results in Cold Water ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Neat: The scent wasn't really obvious at all when used in cold water and although it did remove stains it took quite a bit of scrubbing and elbow grease in order for it to really look clean and so I was quite disappointed with this. Whilst it did do what it said and did clean it took a lot of work from me. Diluted: I used this the same as I would have had the water been hot. After all it does say that it works in cold water and it's a bit of a waste in saving energy if you just end up using more cleaning product and so, for the purposes of this review, assume the same quantities of product and same method as with the hot water. The first difference I noted was that although it did colour the water there was no bubbles at all and no real scent even after I'd finished mopping, I assume the scent had been diluted down to where it just didn't smell. The shine produced by using this in cold water wasn't anywhere near as good as with hot water. Although it did look clean it didn't have that "just cleaned" look, instead it looked like it had been done one to two days ago. Not really a promising start! I think for those that mop their floor every day or for those floors that don't really collect dirt or stains this would work well, so long as you don't mind the lack of scent, but our floor is mopped every three days and does seem to collect dried on mud stains and it didn't really get this up very well at all and so for floors that do collect dirt I wouldn't recommend using this in cold water. Price And Availability ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is widely available in both online and high street supermarkets. I bought mine from ASDA and I think I paid about £2.99 for it although I can't find it online now. There is a 1 litre bottle priced at £1.88 though and it is currently on offer for 2 for £3. My Opinion and Recommendation ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have no problem in highly recommending this product so long as you remember that for tough stains it really does work best when used with hot water. The scent left when used diluted in hot water really is very "clean" and I would agree that this product produced more shine then most other cleaning products and despite the fact that the kitchen/hallway are commonly used rooms the shine and clean look does last for at least a couple of days.
After years of being loyal to Mr Muscle Lemon Kitchen cleaner, I switched to Flash, mainly because it was often on special offer and I don't really like to spend a fortune on cleaning products if I can help it. I am quite a big fan of both the grapefruit and the Febreze cotton fresh versions, but lately I've been using the lemon, as I managed to find it on special offer. The spray is called 'One for all' as it can be used on many different surfaces in both the kitchen and bathroom. The benefit of this is that you don't need to buy lots of different bottles so it's a space saver as well as a money saver. This one is 'Crisp Lemons' fragrance and it states that it will leave surface clean, fresh and with 'the best shine ever'. You can buy this either in a standard pouring bottle like the one shown above or one with a trigger spray which is the one I bought. The bottle is rather plain with a blue trigger spray at the top. You can see the pale yellow liquid through the bottle which is useful as you can tell when you're running out. The directions for use are pretty much foolproof - simply spray and wipe with a damp cloth - anyone can do it! It does say for tougher stains that you should leave this on for around 3 minutes before wiping. The product can be used on all surfaces aside from non-washable ones, such as untreated/waxed/oiled wood, marble, copper, brass and black rubber. I use this product on pretty much all surfaces in my kitchen, as well as my dining table (which has a cheap, laminated top). I have even sprayed on my floor, when I've been in a rush and find it cleans lino in particular quite well - just make sure you rinse well! I must admit I don't use it in my bathroom, as I tend to buy a separate bathroom spray for that. As soon as you spray this you can smell the fresh lemon scent, however it wasn't as strong as I would have liked. I do like very intense, zesty fragrances, and whilst I would say the lemon fragrance is noticeable, it's fairly mild. I find this product is very effective and meets all my needs in terms of cleaning. I only need a couple of sprays on my kitchen worktops to wipe away any spills, and so one bottle has lasted me well. I use this to clean my cooker top and find that I do, as suggested on the bottle, need to leave this on a few minutes to get to work and lift cooked on stains. Other than this, I find that it will tackle the majority of spills and stains in...well, in a flash! So, what about those claims it gives 'the best shine ever'? Well, on my benches I don't find that it leaves any particular shine, but my cooker top always looks as good as new after using this, and my sink and taps look particularly shiny and clean when using this product. I normally buy this from Poundland, where not surprisingly it costs £1, but having checked online it costs £2.02 from ASDA. Overall, I am quite pleased with this product as it does work well to leave my surfaces clean and has many uses. The only thing I don't like about the product is that the smell is not strong enough for my liking and doesn't linger as well as the grapefruit or cotton fresh varieties do. Whilst I would buy it again, I would only do so if my favourite fragrances were not available.
We moved into a new house last year and for months we had no kitchen flooring, finally in December the new lino was laid and with 2 dogs I needed to find a good cleaner to keep the lino in the best possible condition. I had a look in the local supermarket and theis product was on offer and i liked the fact that it was an all in one cleaner and not just for floors. It currently sells at £1.05 for 500ml and £2.02 for the litre bottle. The product is near enough illuminous yellow in colour and comes in a pour bottle with a handle built in for you to tip it. I find the design of the bottle can be a bit of a pain as when the bottle is full it is very easy to pour too much out at a time. They say that it is clean, freshness and the best ever shine from flash and up to 100% more shine vs imitation brands. The product can be used diluted or neat depending on what area of your house you are cleaning with it and it has a none rinse formula which is good when doing the floor as it only has to dry once. There are a couple of warnings on the bottle, keep away from children, keep away from eyues, rinse and dry hands after useand if sensitive or damaged skin avoid prolonged contact with product. On opening the bottle you are hit with the smell of lemons, I always associate the smell of lemons with cleanliness which is why I picked this scent. The liquid is relatively thin and pours out too easily so i feel you use more of this product than is probably necessary so it is a good job it is not too expensive. I personally only use this on my floors but that is for the fact if dispensing rather than anything else, in a spray bottle which I would guess you probably can get i would happily use on the rest of the suitable areas. After using this product the smell lingers for a good few hours, it removes mud etc easily and it does leave a shine on the floor. I do like this product although i am sure there will be plenty of products out there just as good as there is nothing remarkable about it but it does do the job i want so i am happy with it.
Flash one for all purpose cleaner. This is a product that I have recently tried out, I usually go for the cheaper brands but was recommended this by a friend who lives by me and she said how good this was for cleaning her tiles both on the walls and also for cleaning her kitchen floor. This comes in a 1 Litre plastic bottle, with a screw on/off lid. Can be purchased in most stores I got mine from my local Co-Operative Convenient Store. It has a really noticeable odour when you unscrew the lid, it actually does smell like real lemons and it has a medium to thick yellow liquid inside. What I actually liked about this product was the fact that you really dont need to purchase loads of different cleaners because this is a basic cleaner tha covers most of the cleaning jobs in your house. It is a great product because you can actually mix with cold water, which saves on the eneregy thing. Dilution is stated "as 60mls per 5Litres", which is not to much to use. Please keep away from children. Keep away from your eyes, if you do acidentially splash into your eyes rinse thoroughly with loads of cold water. Always rinse and dry your hands after using this (particularly if you do not like me use rubber gloves). If you are like me you suffer with sensative skin, then avoid prolonged use with this product. They do have a freephone telephone number as listed on the reverse side of the bottle, so you can call them if you require any assistance. I must admit that i did notice that once the lid has been unlocked it is not child friendly, hence i will be rating this product with a star less. It does do the job, you can clean most surfaces with it, removes oil and grease stains really good, it does leave the room with a really fresh odour. It does work really well and cleans the tiles in your bathroom and they do actually have a really nice shine to them. I do like this product and find that for washing the floors, it works really well. Thanks for reading and rating my reviews.
Having lots of tiled floors to clean has always been a bug bear of mine so to get the job done properly I always use a multi purpose cleaner as I find them to bring the floor tiles up nice and clean and shiny! For years I have always used supermarket own brand multi purpose cleaners for the simple reason that they have been cheaper and do the job well. When shopping in my local store, I saw that Flash One for All was on offer for the 1 litre bottle for around £1.00, making it cheaper than the supermarket's own brand I usually bought, so I thought I'd try the "real thing" and purchased the crisp lemons variety. The product is fairly striking due to the liquid's luminous yellow colour, which is clearly visible through the plastic bottle. The bottle has a handle making it easier to hold and pour, particularly when pouring the liquid into a large bucket. When I first opened the bottle the smell was quite strong but was a nice citrus fresh fragrance, this was a good start as I thought at least the kitchen would smell clean and fresh even if it didn't work as well as I'd hoped! The label gives instructions for use and states you can dilute the cleaner or use it neat. Personally I only ever use a cleaner like this for mopping floors so I always dilute with hot water so cannot comment on how effective it is when used neat. I used approximately a cap full of the cleaner diluted in a standard sized bucket of hot water, which was about the right measurement I found. The water soon bubbled and foamed to produce a soapy like liquid. After having mopped the floors, I found that the citrus fragrance was evident leaving a lovely fresh and clean smell. There were some really muddy stubborn marks on some of the tiles especially with the children coming in with muddy shoes, but I found that they soon lifted when mopping, without the need to scrub those areas separately with a brush, as I have had to do in the past with other cleaners. Overall I really was pleased with the effects from this cleaner and think I will continue to purchase even when it's full price. It made light work of a job that I usually dread having to do, for that reason I award 5 stars!
I don't know what's the matter with my this week but I can't stop cleaning!!! I usually do the bare minimum so that my mum and dad won't throw me out but since Sunday I've cleaned the kitchen, living room AND my bedroom and ensuite bathroom! It's lucky the pound shop by me has had a LOAD of cleaning stuff in and have got shedloads of the big brands for yep, a pound! This Crisp Lemons Multi Purpose Cleaner comes in a 1 litre bottle, there are other fragrances available but I think this one is definitely the nicest but the Flash Fabreze one is gorgeous smelling as well. You can either use it neat or diluted. To dilute it you just use a cap full in 5 litres of water so if you use it this way a bottle will last you for ages, most of the time I've used it I've diluted it and it will deal good with most messes and dirt like that. Actually I've only used it neat a couple of times and that was to clean the outside window sill which was MEGA dirty and the toilet. It was probably a stupid idea to use this in the toilet because the water in the bowl diluted it anyway.... but never mind! When it's diluted the cleaner has still got a gorgeous clean lemon smell, it's fainter than if you use it neat obviously but still quite strong. You don't have to bother rinsing it if you've diluted the Flash but if you use it neat then you should rinse with cold water, that's ok but how do you rinse a worktop properly without making a right wet mess??? I did it by using loads of wet cloths to gradually get rid of all the cleaner but that probably didn't work all that well so I'd definitely recommend using it diluted for anywhere that is going to be hard to tip water over. Over all I definitely recommend Flash Multi Purpose Cleaner, any of the varieties are brill but there's something about the smell of lemon that makes things smell mega clean. It works proper good, even diluted with all that water you still get a nice shine on surfaces and even pretty tough marks don't take all that much rubbing to get rid of them. It's good as a floor cleaner as well, when I'm doing the floors with it I use 2 1/2 - 3 caps in a full bucket of hot water. It doesn't bubble up so you can either add it before or after you put the water in the bucket. The cleaner cleans the floor good and makes it look nice and shiney, it's not slippy either and that's good because a floor cleaner my mum brought from Morrisons a few weeks ago had nearly all of us landing on our arses because it made the floor soooooooo slimey feeling! Recommended!!!
This is the greatest cleaning product of all, These bottles arent very expensive and last for ages. You can use them not just for your floor but for all of your surfaces. The best place i've found to buy this product is wilkinsons, as they (on regular basis) do deals on this product, Lat month i picked up 2 bottle for £2. But what is great about this cleaning product is that you can make it up into the spray version for a fraction of the spray bottle price, just fill up an old bottle a quarter of the way up with the flash one for all and fill it with water and there ya go, a cheap refill. Once refilled, use it on everything to create a clean house, and in the kitchen it cuts through grime easily, just spray it on, leave for like a minute and wipe. On previous reviews there were explenations saying that it is too fragrant to use on surfaces, however for the kitchen if lemons are not your thing, then they do a lavender version which anyone would welcome the scent for in their home, they also do a pink grapefruit and green tea leaf , and clean cascade which i think is perfect for the bathroom. I will never use a different product ever !!!!
FLASH ONE FOR ALL LIQUID. I have been looking for some time to find a really nice smelling floor cleaner. Some of them remind me of the disinfectant smell you get in public loo's! I hate pine smells so I was pleased when I found Flash All In One. It comes in a 1 litre bottle and costs £1.78, but it is currently on offer at Tesco for £1.00. It comes in a plastic bottle with a bright green screw on cap. The plastic is actually a whitish colour but the liquid is yellow so it does look as if it is in a yellow bottle. The label on the front has the words Flash One For All written on it and the scent, which is Crisp Lemon. The colour of the label is mainly yellow with lemons on it and a picture of a tiled floor. It has a smaller label which says :- 100% brilliant clean with half the effort (I certainly found this the case) On the back there are the usual warnings:- keep away from eyes, keep away from children, rinse hands after use and avoid prolonged contact if you have sensitive skin. The liquid can be used diluted or neat but if you are doing the later it does say to rinse it of afterwards. So, armed with my mop and bucket I duly measured out the 2 cups of Flash as per instructions. I should mention that you can use this with cold water which is another good point. The Flash liquid had a strong lemon smell which is really sharp and fresh. The liquid doesn't foam very much but that's a good thing when cleaning the floor, there is not slippery soapy residue!!!!!! I mopped a laminate floor, a ceramic tiled floor and a vinyl floor. The Flash liquid cleaned quickly and effectively and I was especially pleased with the laminate as it did not leave any streaks. I cleaned my floors before I went to work and when I came home at lunchtime I could still smell the lovely lemon fragrance, everywhere smelt so clean and fresh!!!!! This product can be used to clean the kitchen and the bathroom too, although I think the smell might be a bit too over powering for work surfaces etc, particularity areas where food is prepared. I brought Flash One For All predominately for my floors and not only did it clean beautifully and streak free it smelt fantastic too. I would definatly recommend this product it performed very well, and not a public loo odour anywhere! ADVANTAGES Smells lovely Can be used with cold water Has multi purpose uses DISADVANTAGES The smell could be a bit too strong for work surfaces.
