“ Brand: Flash / Type: Household Cleaner / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
When it comes to cleaning I'm sure I'm in the minority here as its something I really enjoy doing. I love my home to look, feel and smell nice and blitz through the place usually on a daily basis.
I tend to buy cleaning products for particular jobs. I buy a kitchen spray and a bathroom spray for those rooms in particular and keep them stored in those rooms so I can basically clean whenever I want to with ease....and clean I do so lol
The kitchen cleaner comes in a white plastic bottle with a trigger action spray in orange and white to the top of it to which there is a twisty part to it so you can turn it on and off for safety reasons. On the front of the bottle there is a picture shown of a sparkling kitchen and some oranges and the size is stated and then on the back label we are told a bit about the product and how to use it, warnings are given as again the size is stated and contact details for Procter & Gamble are given (the manufacturer of the product). Nice enough, simple to use bottle this is and I like the trigger action spray to the top of it which I can simply pump to use and make sure it is safely turned off so no small hands can get hold of it in my home and think its orange juice or owt and try drinking it!
A Bit About The Product According To The Information Listed On The Back Of The Bottle:
For quick, spotless results without scrubbing superb cleaning for the hob, the oven (inside & out), walls and surfaces, cupboard doors, the microwave... great fresh fragrance.
Well the liquid when it sprays out is orange and transparent and very wet so you only need to spray once for most jobs. To use it you simply spray it and then wipe and you can pretty much use it anywhere at all within the kitchen. On more stubborn grease, grime and stains I spray, leave it for a minute or so then wipe when I've allowed the liquid to work.
This is just so good. Ok the smell isn't as fresh and orangy as I thought it would be but its light enough and certainly fresh enough. I clean my fridge out with this, oven, wipe down the front of my cupboards and although it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging that it is antibacterial I'm happy enough to use it on work surfaces too.
It lifts off grease and grub with ease leaving behind a delicate scent and a soft sheen. It isn't an oily product, great for cleaning the sink and taps with and doesn't annoy my senisitve askin (though you should wash hands after using it of course).
I recommend this to anyone who wants good, fast and reliable cleaning results and it makes my home cleaner for sure! A really great product!
This is available in most good supermarkets at about £1.99 though I have seen this on offer alot in places like Asda, Morrisons and Tescos costing a pound a bottle!
Flash Ultimate Orange
With the new year approaching, I like to give my kitchen a really good clean, getting in all the cupboards, oven, and generally making sure everything is spick and span for the new year.
For this I have been out and bought a bottle of Flash ultimate orange. This is a well known brand of kitchen cleaner and cost me £1.25 in Safeways, you can buy it for a pound in the pound shops when they have it in stock.
Flash ultimate orange is a degreasing spray and comes in a handy plastic bottle with a trigger spray on the top, its a white see through plastic bottle with an orange spray trigger. You can see the orange liquid through the bottle, as with all cleaning products they are best kept out of reach of children especially these types with the trigger spray top, its too easy for a child to think its a toy and they can get into it easily as at the front of the trigger there is a little white piece of plastic which lifts up before you spray.
I do think this is a bad design fault on the part of Proctor and Gamble UK whop make this product, usually you have to twist the front of the trigger on other similar product sprays before you can use them. So, I dont think this is very child safe and should be kept well out of the way of little hands.
When using this spray if you have sensitive skin youll have to wear rubber gloves as it could irritate the skin, spray the liquid onto the surface which needs cleaning, holding the bottle about five or six inches away from the surface to get an even spray of liquid onto it.
Leave the liquid for about two minutes or a little longer for if there is a bad stain on it like grease, then wipe away with a cloth. Its that easy to use.
This stuff is really easy to use and the results are brilliant, it can be used on the cooker, the sink, tables and work surfaces. The bottles contain 500ml of liquid and this should last you about two weeks of cleaning in the kitchen. You can use it in the bathroom too although it only has pictures of the kitchen items on the bottle, I have cleaned the bath and sink upstairs with it and it hasnt scratched them.
The bottle is also recyclable if your into saving the planet.
The scent of the liquid is as youd expect an orangey one, it isnt too strong but you can smell it as soon as you have used it, I like the way it cleans quickly and easily, theres no need to scrub the cooker after cooking a big meal. Just spray and wait two minutes then wipe, cleaning time gets cut down to the minimum which is great for anyone who hates doing the housework.
If you havent tried this yet, Id recommend you do.
Although when it comes to new food products I am proberly among the first to try them, when it comes to cleaning products I do tend to be a bit of a stick in the mud. I do sometimes try new things but always prefer to use tried and trusted brands. After all if you buy a new food brand you don?t like you can simply throw it away but something like a new bath or floor cleaner you usually finish up, having to clean the bath or floor twice and its bad enough doing it the first time. I have use ?flash? cleaner for as long as I can remember, in fact I can remember my mum using it. In those days it only came in one form. A cardboard carton with a green coloured powder inside, which first had to be dissolved in a bucket of water. Now days it comes in many different verities: - bottles of liquid, trigger spray bottles, creams and even little cloth wipes that you can just once then throw away. The one I am going to review to day is ?Flash Ultimate Orange? all-purpose cleaner. I had until now always used with confidence lemon flash and always been pleased with the results. I had however seen countless adverts promoting orange cleaners and often been temped but I had all ways resisted until flash has now brought out their own version. You can buy it easily in most supermarket out lets: - Sainsbury?s Safeway, Superdrug, Tesco, Somerfield and many other places. It comes in 500.ml or 1Litre sizes, although I am sure you can proberly get it in industrial sizes too. The average cost of this product is £2.09 for the 1 Litre and £1.19 for 500ml. but if you shop around I?m sure you find an offer of some kind on it somewhere. The 1 Litre bottle stands about 28 cm high and is 13 cm across. It has an easy carry and pour handle built into the clear plastic bottle through which you clearly see the orange coloured liquid inside. The cap on the bottle is orange as is most of the lable, which also sports a twist of fresh looking orange peel. I found the cap
on the bottle very easy to twist to open and close, easy even for the weakest of hands. The label on the back of the bottle contains the instructions for use. There are two ways of using this. The first is to dilute it, by adding 2 capfuls to 5 litres of water, which is ideal for washing floors and paintwork. The other is to use it neat; this is best for cleaning the bath and worktops. Flash liquid is made by Proctor and gamble. Contact address: - Proctor & Gamble UK The heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey Kt13 0xp. Tel. 0800 028 3592 Ok so when it came time to use my flash. I opened the bottle and took a sniff, mmmm; it really does smell of oranges. I diluted it into a bucket of water and began washing the floor. There was little or almost no lather, which is good, as you don?t want the floor awash with suds. I then dipped my mop in and applied it to the floor. I found it clean quite quickly and really seemed to cut through the dirt. One of the best things is it does not need to be rinsed also the mop rinsed out easily. When my floor was dry, I was very pleased and satisfied with the results. The whole kitchen smelt of orange, all nice and fruity and as for how well it cleans, exactly the same as all the other flash liquids. I don?t think the orange has really made any difference to how good the product cleans but flash for me has always been one of the best. I do intend to use this all the time if it is available, simply because I like the smell. Some of the other smells can be very off putting the lemon one smells like chemicals, the pine reminds me of toilets and the heather one is repugnant to say the least. Well all in all I would recommend this product as one of the best, and it is nice to have caught up with the times, or at least I though I had until, after I had finish washing my floor I sat down with a nice cup of tea and one of those catalogues that come th
rough the door containing house hold products. There inside it read. ? The latest super power-cleaning product. Use this to make light work of all your cleaning tasks with the new product made with the power of BANANA?S? No I?m not even going there. Thanks for reading.
