I work in an office and my section only gets their desks cleaned by the resident cleaners once a week. Even then, more often than not I find my desk is still dusty. In a large building it's understandable that the cleaners can't dedicate much time to each individual desk, and I have no problem cleaning my desk area myself - I only wish others did the same instead of moaning about the cleaners but that's another rant entirely!

I drink a lot of coffee in work so the surface of my desk is prone to the odd coffee ring stain too.

I bought these Flash Wipe and Go Wipes in Sainsbury's - they caught my eye as they were only £1.

The wipes come in a rectangular plastic packet that's coloured a bright orange. On the front is the Flash logo and a picture of a lemon cut in half. Typical bright Flash packaging.

The packaging states that the pack contains 72 wipes. The wipes themselves are thick, white, and quite tough to pull apart. There are 36 large wipes in the pack, and each large wipe is perforated down the middle, so you can easily tear them in half, and voila, you have 72 wipes.

These wipes are lemon scented. As soon as you open the packet, you can smell them. While they do smell a tad lemony, mostly they smell very bleachy. I find the bleachier the smell, the better I feel they will work; however I have found that on occasion I will get a whacking great headache if I have been using these for too long!

I find that one large wipe will clean my desk, computer screens, telephone, mouse and mouse mat. The wipes are very moist and will leave a nice shine on everything you use it for. They pick up dust and dirt very well and are extremely durable. They also remove coffee stains and even the odd little bit of ink that ends up on my desk.

Some wipes will pretty much disintegrate after a few wipes but these are very strong and you can clean large surface areas with only one without finding it falls apart.

I find these are perfect to bring into work because of the handy packaging. After using them I can just reseal them and stick them in a drawer until my desk needs cleaned again.

I also have a pack of these at home and they are great for kitchen surfaces, windowsills, even the toilet, cistern and sink, if you need a quick freshen up before a 'big' clean.

Sadly I haven't seen these in my local Sainsbury's for a while but I have seen them in BM Bargains for 99p so clearly these are still available. I would buy these over any other wipe on the market; they work so well that the odd headache is worth it!
