I've never been a fan of cleaning, I know there are people who like nothing more than flitting around the house with a cloth and polish. Not me though, I want it done quickly and easily. That's not to say my house is dirty though, I'm just not fluttering round with a feather duster most of the time!

So taking my policy of quick and easy I decided to look for something appropriate and hence I picked up a pack of these from Wilkinson's at a price of £1. They are in an orange packet so you can easily assume they smell of oranges, but no they are actually lemon!

They are apparently a large cloth which cleans and freshens (their words not mine) I decided to try it out in the bathroom as I prefer to throw away any cloths that I've used in there and I was going through piles of J-Cloths.
Getting them out of the packet is the usual malarky, pull back the sticky strip, pull it out and reseal.

They're really quite wet and being cold are really unpleasant so I tend to use gloves. They are a decent size, maybe double the size of a postcard. Being honest I have seen bigger. I do like them slightly bigger because then you can tear them in half and save more money.

And, oh the smell...it is indeed lemon but it's that horrible chemical lemon and unpleasant. Lucky me, it does linger, I even have to open the window and I fear using other chemicals in case I lose my eyebrows!
Cleaning wise they do indeed do most of the job as you wipe, you can see the shine left behind. There's just one problem, any dirt or hair is just pushed to one side, they don't actually pick up any of the dirt. They don't pick it up like other wipes I have used or even the J-cloths. It doesn't get rid of the soap scum either, I can't see how it would deal with some really heavy grime and I don't intend to really scrub with these things as a) that's not what they are supposed to be for, and b) they'll just tear in your hands.

Personally I don't think these are any good for a decent amount of cleaning. I think they are only decent for a quick wipe-over in between a proper clean and that's exactly what I use them for.
