“ Brand: Flash / Type: Cleaning Spray / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
When it comes to household cleaning I tend to buy whatever is on sale in the supermarket or Wilkos. I can't remember how much I paid for my Flash with Febreze but it currently retails at about £2 a bottle which is fairly standard for a branded product like this.
The bottle is see through with a lovely pink liquid inside. The nozzle can be clicked to on and off and there is a spray as pictured above. The spray is really easy to use and fits in my hand fine, I've never had any problems with it jamming.
I use this product in the kitchen, I usually spray it onto surfaces and then use a sponge soaked in warm water to wipe down whatever needs doing - the sides, the hob, the draining board, the fridge, the washing machine, the outside of the microwave/kettle/toaster! Whilst the spray is pink in the bottle it goes on as a frothy spray with no colour, my hob is white and it hasn't been stained by this at all. The spray is chemically but has a slight scent of febreze. All cleaners smell of chemicals but this does has a less pungent aroma to it, and it leaves my kitchen feeling very fresh smelling.
In terms of cleaning, I find it cuts through any dirt or build up, from that horrible mush you get on the draining board to the grease that you get on the hob after cooking. The spray removes it really quickly and easily. I've never had any problems with the performance.
I usually use kitchen gloves when I do a full kitchen wipe down, however I have used the spray and a sponge without gloves to clean up the odd spill and it hasn't caused any adverse reactions to my skin. However as with any product like this you obviously want to avoid breathing it in or getting it on your skin, and keep it away from any little un's.
I did find that when I got to the end of the bottle the tube inside wasn't quite reaching the last bit of product but this is fairly standard for this kind of bottle in my experience. It's easy to twist the full lid off and use the product neat on the sponge to make sure you get your moneys worth.
Flash with Febreze cleans easily and doesn't smell as chemically as other cleaners. I found my bottle has lasted me quite a while, so overall I don't have any complaints. I would happily buy this product again
I always buy this to clean my worktops alongside the various other cleaning products I tend to have in the kitchen. I normally buy this when it is on offer in the supermarkets and a big 750ml bottle costs a £1.
Flash with Febreze comes in a few varieties including New Zealand fresh, cotton, lavender and this particular blossom and breeze variety.
The spray comes in a clear bottle and you can see the pink liquid inside, it has a trigger nozzle to action it. There is a stopper at the end of the nozzle that can be turned to lock the spray.
This spray is a multi-purpose cleaner so it can be used all around the home. The bottle says that it is safe to use on all surfaces that are washable. The bottle tells me that the spray has all the power of Flash with the freshness of Febreze. I am also told that the spray will cut through grease, leave a brilliant shine and an intense freshness.
I like cleaning and as I tend to go over things daily my kitchen doesn't really get dirty. There are however times when I need a bit of extra power such as on my hob even though I wipe it immediately after cooking certain things tend to get stuck. If I make poached eggs then I tend to crack the egg on the corner of the saucepan and I have found that this leaves drips on the hob which tend to get stuck. This spray if used and left for a few minutes makes removing this easy. It also leaves my hob which is stainless steel looking streak free and shiny.
The spray also makes light work of cleaning the fascia's which tend to get really dirty and grimy from the rain. I also use this for wiping over my table and my worktops and again it does a great job. I have used this once as a bathroom cleaner and the results were OK, I like a bathroom cleaner than foams and gets to work on the dirt and grime and this spray doesn't do that so I always buy a separate bathroom cleaner.
The main reason I use Flash though is the smell, it is really nice and floral. It lingers throughout cleaning and I like a nice smelling home. I would say this is my favourite out of the whole range and I tend to buy the matching set and refresh air freshners for the home also.
I would recommend Flash for all general household tasks. It does a good job, smells nice and a bottle lasts me for ages despite daily use.
I would give this top marks.
I do love Flash products, I find they clean really well and also have a really nice fragrance to them. Flash brand has been around for a very long time and I find the products deliver what I want from them.
This cleaner comes inside a plastic bottle which has a trigger action nozzle. It is easy to press the nozzle to release the liquid onto the surface. The bottle is also transparent, so you know when you are nearing the end of the liquid.
The liquid is a pretty, bright pink colour, it looks really refreshing inside the bottle. It also doesn't drip from the bottle while spraying it onto surfaces. It has a really nice smell to it, it smells quite floral in my opinion with a hint of a perfume smell. Also smells quite sweet too. I really do love the smell of this cleaner. The fragrance isn't too overpowering but it is a strong smell. It is really apparent in the room after you have cleaned it using this spray.
It leaves a slight foam on the surfaces. It is very easy to wipe over the surface you want to clean. I find it removes any stubborn marks really well in no time at all. If I have any dried on food on my kitchen work surfaces, I just spray it with the cleaner and leave it for a couple of minutes or so just to soften it a little bit and then it just wipes away with a damp cloth.
It removes grease really well too and attacks it, melts the grease to then remove it from the surface. I like to use this to clean my tiles in my kitchen and bathroom. It cleans them well. It is very easy to rinse it too. I find this cleaner doesn't leave those streaky marks on the tiles when they have dried. I have cleaned my taps, my windowsills, door handles and my doors with it. It has removed any chocolate and sticky foods from my door handles etc when my little grandchildren have eaten sticky foods for their treats.
It claims to give 3 times lasting freshness compared to some other brands you can buy. I would say it is as good as any other branded cleaner on the market and one I think is a lot better than some I have tried and tested.
I have cleaned my plastic garden furniture with it, it has cleaned them really well and removed any dirt and ready to use again when the nice weather finally arrives.
It also works a treat for cleaning my stainless steel sink in my kitchen and my sink in my bathroom. It removes any grease on the base of my kitchen sink and also cleans the drainer well too and the taps.
My grandchildren have a child's plastic table which we use for our craft days, it cleans the table really well to remove any paint, glitter or glue from the table. My little granddaughter loves to eat her meals at this table, she doesn't quite like to eat with us at our dining table for some reason. The table is a little messy after she has eaten her dinner and this cleaner just cleans it really well and removes all of the food. I think my granddaughter loves to eat at this table because she is beginning to become more independent. She also runs to the table when she sees me with her plate of food lol. She does love her meal times at the table lol.
I have also wiped my grandchildren's plastic toys with the cleaner, it just removes any germs which are lurking on them and refreshes them. I just spray the cleaner directly onto a damp cloth and wipe over the toys and the job is done.
For a 500ml bottle I paid just a £1, I have seen it at a higher price than what I paid for it, so it is one to shop around for to get the cheapest price. I believe it is also available in a larger bottle which doesn't have a trigger spray nozzle. This cleaner can be used to clean floors etc. I will buy this cleaner in the future.
I highly do recommend this cleaner. I think it is a very good one for cleaning around the home and one which helps the room smell nice for a while too after cleaning. I will buy this one again in the future because I am very happy with the results for cleaning around my home.
The bottle can easily be recycled too after use.
Also on Ciao under my username pinky50.
I give this one 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
Flash with Febreze blossom and breeze
I had never used this before but given that I like Febreze and this was on offer I decided to give it a try.
WHAT DOES IT PROMISE?...
This is an all purpose cleaner which will leave things smelling and looking clean and fresh
WHERE CAN I USE IT?...
The information tells me that it is an all purpose cleaner so presumably given that it gives nothing away I can use it anywhere. It should however not be used on non-washable surfaces e.g. waxed wood, and untreated wood
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The cleaner comes in a plastic 500ml bottle with the information and instructions for use on the back. It has a trigger spray mechanism to dispense the cleaner the cleaner looks pink when viewed through the bottle but when sprayed it does spray out evenly as a clear liquid.
This product is blossom and breeze and is apparently inspired by lush green springs of New Zealand forests. It is supposed to be the smell of fresh fruit orchids violet, gardenia and oak moss, and the blurb about it would make anyone believe this is something other than a cleaner. That said it does smell clean and fresh although for me it is a little too fruity/floral as I prefer my cleaners to smell more like a disinfectant.
HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT...
This promises to cut through dirt and grease, and it is really simple to use; I tend to use it mostly for cleaning kitchen surfaces and units and simpley spray and wip with a dry cloth. Because quite a lot of the product is dispensed with each spray, its important not to over spray or the wipe marks will be clearly visible and then if like me you don't like these, the you have to wipe again.
For tougher stains such as I sometimes get on the hob the spray should be applied and left for a couple of minutes and then wiped away.although this is fine in principle, tough stains such as dried food do need a bit more than a quick wipe over but that said, it does clean then away without needing a scourer.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
This is widely available in supermakets and is often on offer; I bought mine for £1 from my local bargain store so it's worth shopping around.
Whilst a little too sweet smelling to become a real favourite of mine, this is an effective product. After using the product the house does smell as though it has been cleaned and the smell lingers for an hour or so. It cleans bathrooms and kitchens effectively with minimum fuss and can even tackle dried food if I use a little more elbow grease. I have tried it on glass but find that it leaves some smear marks so it's not really truly an all purpose cleaner, but is more for hard surfaces.
A good cleaner especially if bought at a bargain price.
