I always try to buy cleaning products with a nice fresh smell. Anything with lemon or pine can stay out of my kitchen! ****The Cleaner**** ================== I bought this cleaner for the first time from Wilkinsons on offer for £1 and have been using it ever since. I now buy the large 1.3L bottles when on offer and pop it into spray bottles to save on money. The stuff in this 500ml spray bottle which is pictured is a diluted version of the large 1.3L bottles so you're not getting much for your money. The large bottles give you the instructions on how to dilute the cleaner down for the right quantity. Flash have done a brilliant job with this cleaner and the smell is excellent. I use this all around the house as it is an all purpose cleaner. I prefer to use it mostly in the bathroom as it makes it smell light fluffy towels and soapy suds and very inviting. The scent "cotton fresh" is exactly how you expect it to be as It's warm, fresh and very fragrant. The spray is coloured blue and at first this was a little off putting, but now I am glad of it. I can see where I haven't wiped easier when the spray is blue and it makes using it that much easier. I have always been a fan of flash products and when they brought out their Febreze range I was really intregued to use it. I'm not much a fan of lavender which is also in the Flash Febreze range so I haven't tried that one to talk about. I am 100% happy with the cleaning power and fragrance it gives when cleaning the house. I use it a lot in the kitchen as well as the bathroom as it power it has to give my sideboards that clean gleaming shine is perfect. I have a white gas hob which needs a lot of cleaning due to it showing every little splat or oil spit and flash is excellent for cleaning it up well. When I get cleaning, I can't stop and the whole house gets a spray from this. I have used it on the bedroom mirrored wardrobes before and it has left them very clean. I do however prefer to use a window cleaner but just for a little freshen up on them, I will use the Flash cleaner. ****My Thoughts**** ====================== All in all, I think this is a brilliant product. I use it to clean most things in the house and it leaves a brilliant smell to linger through the rooms. The smell lasts quite some time and every time I enter the bathroom I get a whiff of that lovely cotton fresh scent. I recommend this product to anyone who loves a similar scent. As I said before, I prefer to buy it in the big 1.3L bottles and dilute it myself rather than pay more for it to be watered down and in a spray bottle when I bought one from Wilkinsons for less than £1 in the gardening section. The cleaning power it has is great. I will often spray areas and leave it to do it's magic before wiping it down. My bathroom walls are completely tiled white so they need a constant clean and this flash cleaner is perfect for it. I just spray it on, leave it for a few minutes then wipe it over and it gets rid of dust, water marks and any residue from toiletry products. This product is available in the following sizes : 500ml spray bottle 750ml spray bottle 1.3L pouring bottle You can buy it from nearly all supermarkets, wilkinsons and a little look around some bargain stores, I noticed they stock it too so it's worth shopping around. Thanks for reading my review.
I bought some of this Flash With Febreeze 'Cotton Fresh' all purpose cleaner on my latest shopping trip. I was specifically looking for a good product to be able to clean and freshen up the toilet and bathroom area and I thought this sounded like the ideal product as it combines the power of a liquid cleaner with the fresh fragrance of Febreeze. I have bought lots of Flash products in the past because I find their products to be effective and good value for money. I also regularly buy Febreeze fabric freshener sprays and room fresheners as they provide excellent fragrances which are powerful and long lasting. I was quite impressed by the size of this product when I found it in store as it is a giant 700ml 'mega size' bottle. I have to buy these kind of products so frequently that the bigger the bottle the better! This product is inside a semi-transparent shaped flat bottle with a trigger spray top. I like the shape because I have a tiny bathroom shelf (where I keep the product) and it means I can either store it sideways or flat against a wall and still have room for other things. The trigger mechanism has a large plastic trigger which is molded to fit the shape of your fingers. This is handy as it means it's non-slip. There is a nozzle on the end of the dispensing hole which can be twisted to an on or off position. It is possible to remove the top of the bottle but it just clicks on rather than screws on securely. It can be removed prior to recycling the bottle though. Overall the product packaging design is great and I like that the top is quite sturdy so if I dropped the bottle it wouldn't break into bits - something that frequently happens with my Febreeze fabric freshener bottles! There are a couple of labels on the bottle. The one on the front highlights the logos of P&G, the firm who make the product, as well as the Flash and Febreeze logos. In the corner there is a tiny picture of a white cotton flower which is difficult to make out unless you look hard. There is also a QR code you can scan. The label on the back provides usage instructions and safety precautions as well as giving a list of ingredients. To use this you simply spray the target area and then wipe with a damp cloth. The spray gun mechanism is smooth and soft and the mist of liquid has a wide reaching target. It's easy to target a large area quickly although with smaller areas the spray tends to be a little effusive. The liquid is a chemically blue colour and actually looks really toxic. I've used cleaners in the past that when you spray them you simply choke on the chemically fumes. However, I am not sensitive to the fragrance of this cleaner. It has a delicate, just washed my laundry kind of scent that is very pleasing. The fragrance is not overpowering but it freshens up the room in which you are working and eradicates any odours that might have been there before. The cleaning capabilities of the product are quite good although it is not something that is suitable for very tough cleaning. I have an old bathroom suite and the bathtub gets scummy marks on the side and this spray isn't really a match for them. However it can tackle things like taps, tiles, sealants, basins and toilets. Since it's an all purpose cleaner it can be used in the kitchen too and I've tried it on my tiled table top with good results. It works to remove dried on food stains well. The cleaner can also remove dirt and light grime and replaces it with a lovely shine. It's easy to wipe up using a wet cloth and it doesn't leave smears or bubbles. The cleaner does not cause any irritation to my skin although long term contact with the skin is not advised. I would certainly buy this product again for light to moderate cleaning jobs. It cleans well and leaves a lovely sheen wherever it's been applied. The Febreeze fragrance combo is a brilliant idea too as Febreeze Cotton Fresh has such a clean, cut through dirt kind of scent that is perfect for making your rooms smell wonderful.
This is a review of Flash with Febreze Cotton Fresh, which I bought after reading some good reviews on here. I have to laugh as I have been moving the contents of our cleaning cupboard into our new utility room and have discovered that you can buy all the cleaning products in the world but it doesn't make your house clean (unless you use them!). The purchase decision I wanted to try Flash with Febreze Cotton Fresh as I liked the idea of a multi purpose cleaner and being close to my due date had some nesting instincts, wanting to clean all corners of the house. Packaging Our bottle is 700ml with a lockable trigger spray nozzle that is accented with blue plastic to match the liquid contents of the bottle. The bottle is described as a 'mega size' and on the back of the bottle there are usage instructions, the usual common sense keep away from children, eyes and wash hands after use. In use I usually use an anti bacterial cleaning spray in the kitchen, so was really intending to use Flash with Febreze Cotton Fresh upstairs to freshen up everywhere and clean windowsills, mirrors and doors etc. Price You can buy this in all the main supermarkets for between £2 - £3 with a current 3 for 2 deal on at Waitrose. My thoughts I was really disappointed with the performance of Flash with Febreze Cotton Fresh. It made a right mess of the mirrored wardrobes in the bedroom and I spent extra time with other products trying to reduce the smeary mess it had created. I felt like I needed glasses when I looked in the mirror as it made everything go in to soft focus! On normal surfaces it cleaned OK, removing coffee cup stains easily (although I usually just tackle these upstairs with a baby wipe!). The promised fresh febreze smell was hardly noticeable, (I am really not convinced anyway by that product and the adverts in dirty toilets irritate me). I really regret getting the 'mega size' now as it is not the product I want to turn to. Hubby's thoughts Even DH commented that he didn't think the new cleaner we had was very good so we have relegated it as a car cleaner now (interior) as it'll just about do for that job. Final word Not impressed for the price, won't be buying again! I think there are much better products than this on the market for the same or cheaper.
Flash with Febreze Cotton Fresh - available in 500, and 750 ml bottles This product is a flash spray product coupled with the added benefits of Fabreze freshness... It is designed to be used on solid surfaces to wipe and clean leaving the area smelling nice and fresh. The product has a standard on, off type nozzle, and for me is packed with wonderful punches of flash cleaning power. It cuts through grease and grime as would be expected. It works wonderfully in all sorts of areas. The cotton fresh scent smelt nice - rather like clothes softener. Like most other Flash products it will work as a spot spray, and is great for general duties such skirting boards. However I have to say I find it difficult to manage with it as it is not antibacterial. I prefer to have sprays that will do the kitchen, and then migrate to other rooms rather than have on that I cannot use in the kitchen. (I did on one occasion as I just didn't check properly before hand, and felt that I had to wipe down the kitchen sides again as I wanted to ensure that I would be fully 'cleaned')... The Fabreze action is supposed to leave the area smelling all wonderful and fresh, and it does, however as the areas I was cleaning were only a little dirty or dusty it seemed to be a little like overkill to be honest. The product is great but I will in future stick to products that are antibacterial as I feel it is needed in the kitchen, and would rather be over cleaned in other areas in the house then under cleaned in the kitchen. For me it gets three starts for the cleaning power, and the nice smell, but looses two for the lack of antibacterial action, as it was awkward for me - however other people may not feel the same, and may be more observant when cleaning (I just like to get it finished with as little fuss as possible).
I hate cleaning but it's a thing that has to be done and no one likes a dirty house. It generally takes me a while to get going but once I'm in the cleaning zone I'm scrubbing everything in sight. It is great to have a handy product that can be used for a number of different tasks and a one that works well making the cleaning job quicker and more effective. On a recent cleaning spree I noticed that the co-op had a bottle of flash with febreze cotton fresh for £1.50 for a 700ml bottle so I bought it and went home to begin my cleaning mission. I always tend to buy products with a cotton or linen scent as I love how they smell clean and fresh. The bottle is a great shape that enables you to hold it with ease and use the trigger action to dispense the liquid with one hand and clean with the other. It is clear plastic in colour and you can see a lovely coloured blue liquid which is the cleaner inside. It displays the typical flash make and to be honest it doesn't have to be any fancier as everyone tends to know the flash brand to be worth the money and effective. The bottle advises that this is an all-purpose cleaner which will leave your home smelling and looking clean. It can be used on benches, fridges, ceramic, tiles and many more. You basically spray a good amount on the area to be cleaned and wipe away with a cloth, if the soiling is rather bad you can spray and leave for around 3-5 minutes before wiping away. Once the product has been wiped away the area is left shiny, clean and streak free. I love the febreze in this product as it really does freshen the area and it feels cleaner every time you enter the room and you are greeted with that clean fresh scent. I would definitely recommend this product. It has a nice smell, a streak free shine, removes all general marks in bathroom including soap and shampoo and all areas of the kitchen including food and drink spillages, mud and grime.
There isn't much that beats the satisfaction of finishing the cleaning but the results (in my house at least) tend to be short lived. As with all Flash products it does exactly what it is supposed to - clean beautifully with no smearing, the added bonus here is that there is also the wonderful freshness of Febreze included. Long after the cleaning is done you are still being treated to a clean, fresh scent. Over the years I have used many cleaning products and don't tend to have any form of strong brand loyalty, this product however has me coming back for more again and again. Coming in from work you are greeted by the delightfully fresh Febreze scent. Cooking spills are easily cleaned and kitchen surfaces regain their lustre with this. Greasy stove tops are no challenge for the cleaning power of Flash. This is a product that in an age of over exaggerated claims does exactly what it says. It is even more of a delight when you use it in the bathroom as the smell lingers long after you have finished wiping down. In short if you want excellent cleaning, lasting results and a long lasting freshness then this is exactly the spray you are looking for.
I am very loyal to the Flash Febreeze Cotten Fresh range and rarely use any other type of all purpose cleaner. It is by far not the cheapest multi cleaner out there but you can't argue with the results and it smells simply... clean! You can pick up the product in either the above spray bottle (for simple cleaning) or a large 1.4L bottle which can be used neat or diluted. They are both very effective but I find the large bottle tends to work out lots cheaper than the spray. My hot tip of the day is to buy the larger bottle and also a spray. When the spray runs out simply take the lid off, pour some dilute in out of the large bottle and simply top up with water... You get much more from your money by doing this and works just as well as if you were to buy the spray ready made in the shop! Other scents you get in the range are Thai Orchard, New Zealand and Relaxing Lavender. To date the only other scent I have tried is the lavender one and I will soon be writing a review on this too. I will be reviewing the Cotton Fresh spray today - just like in the above photo. ********** About the bottle The bottle and spray catch are both made out of plastic - the overall bottle is a cloudy see-through colour and the spray section is white, clear and blue. The bottle starts off quite thick length ways at the bottle and goes very thin all the way up to the neck and spray nozzle. The bottle size is 700ml. ********** About the spray nozzle The handle in which you grip to spray is white in colour and is firm, but not difficult to use. One spray lets out a good bit of liquid but not too much. Like all good spray products this has a safety cap on it which you need to turn round to the correct option or it will simply not spray. It clearly indicates by showing 2 sides engraved "STOP" and two sides showing engraved a spray image. ********** About the labels The front label is a mixture of blue and white in colour with the recognisable logo's for Flash and Febreeze. Under this it gives you the scene flavour and an image of cotton plants in the background. It also gives you the information that it is an All Purpose Cleaner. The back label is all white in colour, with dark blue front and quite a few images to show directions for use and health hazards relating to the liquid. The label states the product will "leave your home smelling as clean and fresh as it looks"... It then gives you usage instructions to spray on soiled surfaces until fully covered and then to wipe clean with a dry or a damp cloth... You then have the normal information to keep out of reach of children, to keep the product away from eyes & mouth... You also should rinse and dry hands after use and people with sensitive skin should avoid pre-longed contact with the product... ********** About the liquid The liquid is blue in colour - the best way I can describe it is like a bubblegum colour... it is thicker than water but in the spray it is not as thick as the dilute liquid in the larger bottle... The best way I can describe the scent is like clean washing! ********** My verdict I am very biased as this is my favourite scent out of the four. I literally use it everywhere around my house - including skirting boards, tiles, lino, laminate floors, doors, fireplace, window ledges, kitchen surfaces, oven... the possibilities are endless! For the floors I simply spray all over it then mop it up... For other surfaces I just spray and wipe with a damp cloth... I love how excellent it is on working stains... If I have a stain on the floor for example, just 2-3 sprays on the area the dirty mark practically dissapears before your eyes and the remaining can be wiped away... The packaging notes for soiled areas to completly cover the area with spray, leave for a couple of minutes and wipe. I can say first hand this works - I love cooking and the most soiled area around the house that I hate to clean is my huge gas Diplomat oven... As the instructions state on the packaging I just spray all over the marked areas on the oven - sauce marks ect - leave for a couple of minutes... the soiled area's almost disolve and wipe away with very little effort. I love the smell... My mother also uses this in her house and when you walk in you instantly smell it - but its not over-powering... just simply gorgeous! Overall this is my favourite all purpose cleaner and its doubtful if anything else will ever take its place in my cleaning cupboard! The results are breath-taking. At the time of writing this reveiw the spray can be picked up between £2-3 in all the scents but the big 1.4L bottles can be bought for £2 at the moment in Tesco... Other cheaper shops often do this on offer... To date I have only tried the Lavender one other than the Cotton one but I do want to try the New Zealand and Thai scents in the very near future so look out for my other reviews!
I have an obsession with buying different cleaning products and especially if something is on offer then I'm sold on the idea that we *need* it. I'm not particularly brand loyal with anything and cleaning products are no exception, as long as something does the job it's designed for then I'm not bothered whether it's a leading brand or a shop's own label. I've been quite happy using Aldi's own label surface spray but when I started to get low a few weeks ago I nipped up to our local Supermarket, which was in the process of being taken over by another store, and were selling all their stock at half price. I took the opportunity to stock up myself on some real bargains including this - Flash with Febreze All Purpose Cleaner Spray. As it cost just 85p I bought two as it normally retails for around £2 in other shops and if it hadn't have been restricted to just 2 per person then I would have bought more at that price. The spray comes housed in a traditional trigger style bottle which is a reasonable 500 ml in size. There is an opaqueness to the plastic bottle though the contents can still be seen although the liquid has a hazy appearance due to this. The bottle is simplistic with a sticker on the front with the logo and a similar style sticker on the reverse with all the relevant information on and apart from a hint of blue near to the nozzle it is quite a plain design, though the spray itself is a bright sky blue so adds a splash of colour when the bottle is full. Directions for use: This spray is like the majority out there and using it doesn't really differ to any others, as you simply aim and spritz a few times on the trigger. Wipe clean with a cloth and for tougher stains simply leave on for about 3 minutes before wiping. It's not rocket science so I'll move on to does it work..? My experience of using this around my home: Although my home is in the form of a small cottage with a total of 6 rooms it still seems to take a long time to clean, but with 2 sons age 7 and 8 the cleaning can seem never ending at times. Because of this I want a product that works the first time and not one that I have to repeat almost instantly and as I've used Flash products in the past I knew that this spray was pretty decent at fighting grime. The spray is enriched with Febreze - 'Clean Cotton' to be exact, and smells very fresh when sprayed onto a surface. The consistency is quite thin and watery with the colour being a stronger blue than it looks in the bottle, but this dissipates when wiping with a cloth and doesn't stain I find. I get a lot of use out of this product with it being a multi purpose cleaner and find it is particularly effective when cleaning my bathroom and use on my toilet seat, sink basin and even on my bath. I actually find a cream cleaner is more effective on my bath (as it's cast iron) though if someone has just used the overhead shower and I spray this into the bath below then it does help to clean the soap suds away but mainly just freshens up the bath area more than deep down cleaning it. I find this to be very effective when used to wipe down my surfaces in my kitchen and it does clean any grime from spilled food etc away without leaving too much of a streaky residue behind. I have laminate flooring in two rooms as well as lino type tiles in my bathroom and kitchen and whilst I don't own a regular mop I do have a 'squeezy' sponge style version that requires very little water. Because of this I tend to just spray a surface cleaner on my flooring then go over it with my mop and have found this to clean away and marks and especially muddy footprints by the doorway from my boys. Any downsides? On spritzing this surface spray to wherever is required the scent is light and fresh and smells very clean...however if used say predominantly on everything in my bathroom the fragrance comes across as quite cloying once dry and is a little bit headache inducing which is a shame as it's a very good cleaning product. If this hadn't have been in a closing down sale I don't think I would have gone out of my way to purchase it as £2 plus seems a lot for something that works on a par with store branded sprays that I have been using so comes across as an expensive item that I'm paying for the name only. That said it does clean efficiently, but if used too much it can give a sickly headache so because of this I'm deducting a star. 4/5
Previous Flash products have always been impressive with their cleaning abilities, but their scent can be overpowering and 'chemical'. I was pleasently surprised to see the addition of Febreeze and the scent is rather like just washed laundry. The product comes in a plastic bottle with a trigger spray. The trigger is easy to use and disperses a fine mist. I use this spray in both the kitchen and bathroom. A couple of sprays per work surface should do the trick and then wipe with a cleaning cloth. Leave for a few minutes then use the cloth to lift up grease and dirt with relative ease. Wipe the surface completely dry after using to prevent streaks. The clean scent lasts for a couple of hours after cleaning, so it looks fresh and clean and smells it too. Overall, I'm impressed with the product and it is the best that I have used from Flash. The scent is fresh and lasts for quite a while after use. A bottle lasts me 3 weeks of fairly regular cleaning so, for £2, I think this is great value for money.
I have used many Flash products in the past and always been impressed with their cleaning abilities, but have found their scent can vary dramatically from pleasant to overpowering. When I found this Flash cleaner with Febreze I was interested to give it a go as I do use Febreze on my fabrics from time to time to freshen them up. A 700ml spray bottle cost me £2 from Asda. The cleaner is in the liquid spray form and comes in a plastic bottle with a trigger spray. Through the clear bottle you can see the liquid which is a bright blue in colour. The trigger is easy to use and does not require too much pressure to disperse a fine spray. I use this spray mainly in my kitchen to clean my worktops and hob but it can also be used in the bathroom. Immediately after spraying this on to the worktops, I can smell a very fresh, clean scent. Cotton fresh is a very accurate description as it does remind me of the smell of clean laundry - one of my favourite smells! I usually use one or two sprays per work surface and wipe with a cleaning cloth. This is plenty of liquid and allows the whole area to be cleaned. I find that the spray dislodges any dried on food and grease with minimal scrubbing, lifting it relatively easily. You do have to make sure that you wipe the surface completely dry after using otherwise the product can dry on the surface and leave a cloudy and streaky appearance. The clean scent lasts in my kitchen for a couple of hours after cleaning, so it looks fresh and clean and smells it too. The scent is quite strong but not overpowering and smells almost like an air freshener. Overall, this is a really good cleaning spray and one of the best that I have used from Flash. The scent is lovely and not like a 'cleaning' scent at all - it is a pleasant change from the lemon or pine scents. A bottle lasts me about a month of fairly regular (and frequent!) cleaning so, for £2, I think this is great value.
I love cleaning and yes, you read that correctly, as I find it extremely therapeutic although I probably wouldn't feel the same if I had to clean anywhere other than my own home. Over the years I have probably tried and tested all of the cleaning brands available without being loyal to any one in particular. I'm not one for purchasing a specific product for the bathroom and another for the kitchen, as I like to use something that is multi-purpose, which makes life much easier as well as cutting down on storage problems. I've always considered Flash to be an effective cleaning product, as it has been around for years and is manufactured by Proctor and Gamble who are well known for a multitude of household products. You may recall the popular Flash advert from many years ago where a Scottish lady would hold up a bottle of Flash and state "Flash cleans baths without scratching". Consequently, it has been my first choice for a couple of years where I will bulk buy when I see it on offer. Earlier this year I spotted their newly launched range of cleaning products containing Febreze and as I enjoy trying and testing anything new I purchased a few different fragrances with this review discussing Flash Febreze Freshness with Cotton Fresh, which is an all-purpose cleaner. ~~ APPEARANCE OF THE PRODUCT ~~ The appearance of the opaque plastic container was a real winner for me, as in addition to the product being newly launched it is the vivid blue colour that won me over. If my memory serves me correctly my initial purchase was of a 1 litre bottle, which has since long gone and I am now reviewing the 1.4 litre bottle, which Flash have named "Mega Size". As I've had positive experiences with using candles and electric plug ins with a similar name to Clean Cotton I was of the opinion that Flash Cotton Fresh would offer an almost identical aroma. There is a small image contained on the lower right hand corner of the bottle where we are able to witness an unidentifiable white coloured flower, which conjures up images of clean and fresh. However, perhaps I'm being picky here, but the vivid blue liquid doesn't really give me the illusion of Cotton Fresh. The bottle contains a large blue coloured screw top lid, which for some strange reason is not childproof. I'm surprised at Proctor and Gamble and feel that this is an issue that they seriously need to address as the bottle is far too easy to open. Whilst the product can be purchased in a more expensive spray version I always decant the liquid into a spray bottle, which is more cost effective. ~~ USING THE PRODUCT ~~ As soon as I removed the lid I was able to witness the beautiful aroma, which as the name would suggest is clean and fresh and as I suspected it matched the fragrance of the delightful Clean Cotton home fragrancing products, which I absolutely adore. I would describe the aroma as a similar scent to freshly washed laundry that has been blowing outside in the breeze. There are a number of ways in which the watery liquid can be used where it can either be used diluted or neat. My main uses are for the cleaning of the bathroom where I will spray it inside both the bath tub and sink and leave it for about five minutes to enable it to work itself into the grime. I say "grime" because I am mad for beauty products, which always tend to leave soap scum around the area of the bath where the surface of the water would lie. After I've waited five minutes I am easily able to wipe away the scum, as the liquid rapidly cuts into it and enables me to lift it away with a cloth and with minimal effort. What I love about the liquid is that it leaves no residue and my bath tub is not left resembling that of an ice rink. It enables my taps to sparkle where only a quick wipe is needed and it really cuts down on the time spent on my cleaning chores. Whilst I own a Flash Power Mop there are a few areas of my bathroom floor where it will not reach, so I will use the liquid mixed with two parts water. I find that a bottle lasts me for months despite me using it on a daily basis. It is extremely effective at cleaning my stainless steel hob, which on a Sunday, is always splashed with oil from my roast potatoes and gravy saucepan, as unfortunately, I am a rather messy cook! I need only a quick spray and wait five minutes and the grease is immediately lifted away with absolutely no scrubbing. What I adore about this product, which makes it the most favourable cleaning liquid that I have ever used, is the stunning fragrance that lingers for a good hour or so after use. I have never before come across a cleaning product that gives my home that adorable and lingering "just cleaned" smell. The only downside is that the liquid causes the sensitive skin on my hands to flare up, which will result in my knuckles splitting and subsequently bleeding, but this can only be expected from products of this nature. Consequently, I always ensure that I'm wearing my Marigolds! I cannot recommend Flash Febreze Freshness with Clean Cotton highly enough, as it ticks every box for me and enables me to keep my home clean, sparkling and fresh and as a result, it receives five stars from me. ~~ OTHER INFORMATION AND INGREDIENTS ~~ Whilst I do not normally copy lengthy lists of ingredients into my reviews I feel that in respect of a cleaning product it is necessary and would advise that the liquid contains "less than 5% non-ionic surfactants, soap, benzisothiazlinone, glutaral, perfume and linalool". The bottle can be recycled once empty. The bottle is recyclable once empty. ~~ PRICE AND AVAILABILITY ~~ Whilst this product is widely available in supermarkets and the 1.4 litre bottle I currently own was purchased on special offer several months ago, the best place to buy is in Poundland who sell the 1 litre bottles. I hope you found my review useful and would thank you for reading.
Smelly dog, grimy children and a rugby playing husband add living on a building site and you can imagine I need a cleaner that is really tough. Recently I had a few days of and decided that my house needed to be cleaned from top to bottom, before beginning a trip to Tesco is required to purchase new cleaning products as you cannot begin unless you have all the right tools! What is it? Flash with fabreeze is a cleaner that blends the traditional cleaning power with the scent of fabreeze meaning not only is your house clean but also smells cleaner for longer. Supposedly three times longer than flash alone. Cost and stockist I purchased mine from Tesco but you can get this in all major supermarkets currently this will cost you £1.00 a bottle that is for the spray bottle which you use for work surfaces and just have to wipe with a damp cloth, you can also buy this product for floors and you then dilute with water. For a 1litre bottle will cost £2.00 but this does last well I have hard floors throughout my house and due to building works and new puppy wash my floors daily and a I litre will last over a week. Why Buy A clean house is one we all like and a product that keeps are house smelling clean and bright for longer is a good one in my book and I like that this product really gets the smell of onion and Garlic of the worktop and rids the kitchen completely of all these smells. I also use mine to wipe over furniture and this product really cleans the skirting boards well. I also think that it is a really good price even if not on offer as it seems to go a lot further than own brand cleaners to coin a phrase "buy cheap buy twice"! I have to be honest in my opinion this product smells nice is easy to use and really between the two types of this product will be all you need to clean so financially a good buy I for one will stop buying all the other wonder products as all you need is flash. Recommendation I really recommend this product it makes life easier cleans as you would expect from flash and also smells fresh without being overpowering and although I cannot completely confirm that my house smells cleaner for longer as I use this daily it is a product I will be sticking with.
I don't mind cleaning, I do like to buy products that are on offer. This one is often on offer and I bought it for only a £1. I like Flash products. They clean well and are worth the money. This cleaner comes housed in a clear plastic bottle with a trigger spray nozzle. The liquid is a nice blue colour and looks really refreshing and clean inside the bottle. It is easy to spray onto a work top or sink etc. it does not drip at all from the bottle. It leaves a fine mist on work surfaces. I find that only a quick spray is enough to clean well. I use this all over the house. I clean sinks, windowsill, doors, basins and even kitchen appliances. I find it removes dirt really well and targets those stubborn marks. It cleans my lamp bases well too and anything that a cleaner can be used on this cleaner works well. This one does have a really nice smell to it, it is really refreshing and has a nice kind of perfume but not a smell that is left on surfaces. The smell is not too strong. It is just the right amount for a cleaning product. The smell can be really nice when I have just sprayed it because it lingers for about 5 minutes or so, maybe longer. I just think this one is a really good quality spray and one that does last for a long time because of the small amount needed for cleaning. I find it works well on scum marks around my bath. A quick spray and a gentle rub with a damp cloth is all that I need to do to clean it. For all those cleaning tasks around the home, this one is one that I would not hesitating in recommending. It is a good value cleaner and works well. It also fits well in a cupboard and does not tip over. I have cleaned wardrobe doors with it too and the door handles, I have used it for cleaning tables in my grandchildren's play room. It has worked well to remove chocolate marks etc or any food that has been left on the tables. I just think it is a good cleaner that works well for my liking. I will buy it again because I like both the smell of it and the way it cleans my home. It is worth looking out for this one on offer because it can save you a lot of money. The bottle is recyclable too. I rate it 5 stars.
I bought this product some time ago when it was on special offer at Tesco - buy one get one free. They worked out in the region of £1 each (10p from the sale of each pack went to Comic relief), Tesco are not selling this product online at the moment so I am unable to provide a current retail price. Asda sell the product at £2, this equates to £4 per litre. I generally use clear antibacterial sprays around the home but find they have little or no aroma so I thought this would be a pleasant change. The product is marketed as an all purpose cleaner and is sold in clear-ish (clear enough to see the blue liquid within) plastic, trigger action bottle. The Flash and Febreze logos are depicted on the front. The nozzle must be adjusted prior to use, this frees the trigger allowing the liquid to be sprayed with ease releasing a fine mist. Instructions on the reverse of the product state that a soiled surface should be sprayed until covered and then wiped with a dry or damp cloth. In order to achieve a brilliant shine a dry cloth must be used. For tougher soiling there is a recommended maximum contact time of 3 minutes. Once sprayed, the product has a lovely fresh smelling aroma, not too over powering but enough to leave a room smelling of freshly laundered clothes - as if a washing line were in your kitchen! Importantly the solution cleans really well and does leave surfaces looking shiny. I find that it is also an excellent product to use on kitchen and bathroom floors, when mopped regularly, I find that the spray can be used as a quick fix spray and wipe. Leaving the floor free of smears and the aroma generally lifting the mood of the room. Unlike antibacterial sprays, Flash Febreze does not make any claims to kill an X amount of bacteria, I therefore use this product in addition to my antibacterial spray - more for the clean rather than safe look. I bought quite a few of these when they were on offer, I still have a couple left and will wait until offers arise again before my next purchase.
For as long as I can remember I have always used Flash products because they are not only good value but are easy to use and do the job. I also like Febreze sprays so when I saw this product on offer at Asda I just had to buy it to give it a try and I will definitely buy more because it cleans most areas really well and smells lovely. It is available either as a spray (as shown in the Dooyoo picture) or you can buy it with the cap and dilute the liquid - both, in my opinion, are equally as effective. The liquid is a fairly thick, sea blue colour and is actually a pleasure to use. The trigger is well designed which means you can just point and squirt and there is little danger of dropping the bottle, even with wet hands, because it has an easy grip handle. I have used it on our laminate floors, floor tiles, wall tiles, worktops, inside the kitchen units and in the bathroom with great results. For stubborn stains (mainly paw marks from our 2 dogs) I have left the solution on for a couple of minutes then rubbed dry and found that it works as well as regular Flash. The bonus is, however, that you get the lovely smell which is fresh, clean-smelling yet not overpowering. I love this aspect because you feel as if your hard work has been worth it as the house smells so good. The fragrance lingers for a good while after and no way does it smell of chemicals. On the reverse of the bottle it gives directions on how to use the spray and the obligatory cautions. It states that you shouldn't use it near children but does not mention pets. I am not sure if I should use it near our dogs but couldn't resist giving the dogs' baskets a quick squirt just to freshen them up a bit and they do not seem to have suffered in any way. I have also used this for cleaning around the cat's feeding area where it worked well on the plastic mat on which her food trays stand. I would not suggest using the product for feeding bowls etc because the fragrance may be too strong. The ingredients are also listed on the reverse of the bottle - these do not make any sense to me but are provided for those ith chemistry degrees - the only ones I recognise are soap and perfumes! The only disadvantage I can see is that this Flash product is not anti-bacterial which although not a problem for us, may be important to many people. I have to award 5 stars for this Flash with Febreze because it works well as a cleaner, it is easy to use and smells divine.
