Advantages: Smells so good! Brilliant at tough stains!

Disadvantages: Can be expensive for the sprays!

I am very loyal to the Flash Febreeze Cotten Fresh range and rarely use any other type of all purpose cleaner. It is by far not the cheapest multi cleaner out there but you can't argue with the results and it smells simply... clean!

You can pick up the product in either the above spray bottle (for simple cleaning) or a large 1.4L bottle which can be used neat or diluted. They are both very effective but I find the large bottle tends to work out lots cheaper than the spray. My hot tip of the day is to buy the larger bottle and also a spray. When the spray runs out simply take the lid off, pour some dilute in out of the large bottle and simply top up with water... You get much more from your money by doing this and works just as well as if you were to buy the spray ready made in the shop!

Other scents you get in the range are Thai Orchard, New Zealand and Relaxing Lavender. To date the only other scent I have tried is the lavender one and I will soon be writing a review on this too.

I will be reviewing the Cotton Fresh spray today - just like in the above photo.

**********

About the bottle

The bottle and spray catch are both made out of plastic - the overall bottle is a cloudy see-through colour and the spray section is white, clear and blue.

The bottle starts off quite thick length ways at the bottle and goes very thin all the way up to the neck and spray nozzle.

The bottle size is 700ml.

**********

About the spray nozzle

The handle in which you grip to spray is white in colour and is firm, but not difficult to use. One spray lets out a good bit of liquid but not too much. Like all good spray products this has a safety cap on it which you need to turn round to the correct option or it will simply not spray. It clearly indicates by showing 2 sides engraved "STOP" and two sides showing engraved a spray image.

About the labels

The front label is a mixture of blue and white in colour with the recognisable logo's for Flash and Febreeze. Under this it gives you the scene flavour and an image of cotton plants in the background. It also gives you the information that it is an All Purpose Cleaner.

The back label is all white in colour, with dark blue front and quite a few images to show directions for use and health hazards relating to the liquid.

The label states the product will "leave your home smelling as clean and fresh as it looks"...

It then gives you usage instructions to spray on soiled surfaces until fully covered and then to wipe clean with a dry or a damp cloth...

You then have the normal information to keep out of reach of children, to keep the product away from eyes & mouth... You also should rinse and dry hands after use and people with sensitive skin should avoid pre-longed contact with the product...

About the liquid

The liquid is blue in colour - the best way I can describe it is like a bubblegum colour... it is thicker than water but in the spray it is not as thick as the dilute liquid in the larger bottle...

The best way I can describe the scent is like clean washing!

My verdict

I am very biased as this is my favourite scent out of the four. I literally use it everywhere around my house - including skirting boards, tiles, lino, laminate floors, doors, fireplace, window ledges, kitchen surfaces, oven... the possibilities are endless!

For the floors I simply spray all over it then mop it up... For other surfaces I just spray and wipe with a damp cloth...

I love how excellent it is on working stains... If I have a stain on the floor for example, just 2-3 sprays on the area the dirty mark practically dissapears before your eyes and the remaining can be wiped away...

The packaging notes for soiled areas to completly cover the area with spray, leave for a couple of minutes and wipe. I can say first hand this works - I love cooking and the most soiled area around the house that I hate to clean is my huge gas Diplomat oven... As the instructions state on the packaging I just spray all over the marked areas on the oven - sauce marks ect - leave for a couple of minutes... the soiled area's almost disolve and wipe away with very little effort.

I love the smell... My mother also uses this in her house and when you walk in you instantly smell it - but its not over-powering... just simply gorgeous!

Overall this is my favourite all purpose cleaner and its doubtful if anything else will ever take its place in my cleaning cupboard! The results are breath-taking.

At the time of writing this reveiw the spray can be picked up between £2-3 in all the scents but the big 1.4L bottles can be bought for £2 at the moment in Tesco... Other cheaper shops often do this on offer...

To date I have only tried the Lavender one other than the Cotton one but I do want to try the New Zealand and Thai scents in the very near future so look out for my other reviews!

Summary: Smells great and tough on awkward stains!
