... though - you don't have to peel this - just pop the whole block, as it is, in the cistern, leave for ten minutes, and then give the loo a flush. On first flush, I got dark blue water, and plenty of foam. It had a slightly bitter cleaning fluid smell to it, and I was fairly confident it was going to keep my loo nice and clean. However, I noticed after a few days that the block really wasn't doing much foaming any more, just giving blue coloured water, and that this too was gradually fading . In all, it took about 3 weeks ...more

Express Review on Jeyes Bloo Max

I bought a Bloo Max on 6th April as the blurb said it would last up to 2 months - suckered again!!!! By yesterday, 19th April, there was no trace of any blue colour in the toilet or Bloo in the cistern. We are an elderly couple who live on our own and my husband saves buckets of bath water to pour down the toilet so here is certainly no over-flushing in our house. This product smells great but I certainly wouldn't buy it again at the price it's on sale for or recommend it to anyone else.

Another Bloo Disappointment (238 words)

We have tried another cistern block by Jeyes called Bloo Max. The cost was £1.40 but we paid it as it said it would last up to FOUR MONTHS! That sounded like great value for money but sadly it wasn't. Once I had finally managed to prize the round dark blue block from the cardboard and plastic casing I popped it into the cistern as recommended. I flushed the loo after a bit and was rewared with a nice industrial smelling, foaming blue loo. I liked the smell - that was probably the only thing I did like about this cistern block. I would say this loo block must have worked okay for around four weeks maximum. After that it quickly disintegrated until there ...  Read the complete review

Jeyes Bloo Max: My purchase left me feeling bloo ..... (374 words)

I do like a clean looking and fresh smelling loo - but I don't like having to swish round it each day with the brush . I was looking for something that would keep my loo nice and fresh for longer between real cleans - and came across the Bloo Max Cistern Block, which according to the packaging would last up to 2 months. It looks exactly like the usual bloo blocks, only larger. To use this, you simply remove the card and plastic outer wrapping, and you are left with a squidgy block that still appears wrapped. Don't worry about that though - you don't have to peel this - just pop the whole block, as it is, in the cistern, leave for ten minutes, and then give the ...  Read the complete review

A little Blue Block That Supports The Bill (465 words)

I just had to write a review on this little block calling it self 'Jeyes Bloo Max' it claims to last up to four months in your toilet cistern cleaning, foaming and freshening with every flush! Oh I nearly forgot it also claims to help prevent lime scale too. I bought one of these from Tesco a month ago it cost me 1.25 but at the time I think I was drawn to the Max part of the products title. 'Jeyes' do have a good name, after all they are sponsoring the Bill at the moment even if they are using a very irritating family that do nothing all day but whiff out nasty smells around their house and garden. It comes on a blue card within a ...  Read the complete review
