When I was younger my mum always used to make sure that cleaned my school shoes every weekend ready for school the following week. Unfortunately as I got older I started to really resent cleaning my shoes and now that I am that little older I know I need to clean my shoes but I like to used products that are a little faster than the wax polish and brushes for buffing.

This is when I came across another product in the Kiwi brand and it was the colour shine instant polish it cost me £2.49 from Tesco and it was in liquid form so should be easy to use and it works on all black leather shoes. It is also available in other colours which are brown, neutral, blue, corodovan and white.

To use wipe your shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to dry, shake the bottle well before use and then apply the instant shine polish. The great thing about this product is that there is a sponge applicator on the top of the bottle for easy application and there is a button hidden in the sponge to release the wax, which controlling the flow. All you have to do is evenly apply the wax over the shoe and allow it to dry. To keep the applicator in its best condition after use rinse with warm water and then blot it, then allow it to dry naturally ready for its next use.

This leaves my shoes looking shiny, a nice dark black shade and as good as new and also gives then a new protective barrier, especially in the rain I can see the rain drops that collect on my shoe and then just run straight off as opposed to soaking in. It is really easy to use and can be done almost anywhere. There is no mess unlike when you use a pot of wax and the brushes I tend to find that the wax ends up everywhere.

I use this wax on my shoes every few weeks to protect them and they are still looking as good as new. Next time I am shopping I will purchase the neutral so it can be used on all my other different colour leather shoes.
