“ Brand: Morning / Type: Washing Powder / Category: Laundry „
I bought this a couple of weeks ago. I used to always go for the main branded washing powders but recently money has been very tight so I have been looking for other ways to cut back. I bought mine in B+M for 99p. I opted for the mandarin and lemon blossom simply because there was a fabric conditioner that sort of went with it (mandarin and peach blossom).
The washing powder is part of a new range I believe and I certainly havent seen it before. The morning fresh brand is most well known for washing up liquid. My Nan has always bought morning fresh washing up liquid for as long as I can remember so it is a brand I trust.
The packaging design is exactly the same as shown above. I quite like the box design and it certainly doesnt look like it cost 99p. The box contains enough powder for around 10 washes.
To use the powder you simply pour it in the tray of your washing machine and then wash your clothes as normal. There is instructions on the back about how much to use but there is nothing to measure it with so it is a bit of a guessing game, especially if you rarely use the powder type variety like myself as I usually opt for gel or liquitabs.
As soon as I opened the box I was greeted with a fresh fruity, citrus smell. The mandarin smells sweet and fresh and I really liked the fragrance. The powder is pure white in colour.
I was really happy with the results of this powder. I wasnt sure what to expect because it was only 10p a wash but all of my clothes came out of the wash looking clean and having a subtle citrus scent. The powder had all gone from the drawer and my clothes definitely didnt look faded or anything.
I suffer from sensitive skin but my skin has been fine since using this powder.
As I dont have any way of measuring the powder I think I have been using a little more than I should have been and therefore estimate that I will get around 8 washes from my box.
I really like this washing powder and will definitely buy it again. It represents brilliant value for money costing around 10p per wash and my clothes come out clean and smelling nice. Recommended.
