      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A good cleaning spray

I normally buy Cif with active lift but it is expensive at £3 a bottle and last week when I run out it was Mr Muscle that was on offer for £1 instead of £2.

The bottle is bright orange in colour and contains 500ml of spray. The product is described as a 5 in 1 cleaner. It is formulated to remove soap scum and tackle bathroom grime fast and effectively. It has an anti-bacterial action and also helps prevent limescale, making the task of cleaning the bathroom quicker and more effective.

The spray is suitable for use on most bathroom surfaces including enamel, plastic and porcelain sinks and baths.

I have used this product before but this time I purchased it I noticed a difference on the nozzle there was the usual on/off button but there is also a little piece of plastic over the nozzle that can be opened and closed. Reading the instructions I see that this is to change how the nozzle sprays, so when it is open you get a wide spray that covers a larger surface area and when it is closed it concentrates the spray into a smaller area to remove stubborn stains.

The spray has a citrusy orange scent.

To use the spray you are directed to spray onto the surface and leave for 30 seconds before wiping and rinsing thoroughly.

The spray smells nice, it has a chemical smell to it as I would expect but you can also smell the anti bacterial properties. As my bath is cleaned every few days it doesn't really get dirty but last week when I dyed my hair I managed to get the brown dye all over the bath and it was a little stubborn to just wipe off, a quick spray of this and I left it for a few minutes then it wiped off with ease.

What I like about this spray is it comes out like a foam which I prefer to a spray that you can't see in the bath, I personally think the foam works better on the stains and you can see it fizzing away.

This spray is also good for cleaning the toilet it removes stains and leaves my toilet looking clean and nice. After using this on all my bathroom surfaces they look shiny and clean, I always know if a cleaner is good if it leaves my taps shiny which this one does. I have tiles on the bathroom floor also which I wipe with this spray and it removes greasy marks which seem to appear on the floor as well as dust and general dirt.

I would buy this spray again, I like the nozzle and how it can be changed as well as the fact it smells nice and does a good job. If it is on offer for a £1 then it is excellent value.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

It was a good offer - but I won't be buying again in a hurry

Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet Cleaner

I have no particular affinity to any brand of cleaner, although if I feel one is effective I will buy it again. I have the Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet Cleaner - 5 in one - which we are told is a 'new formula'...

It comes in a spray bottle, which is now bright orange, and supposedly kills 99.9% of germs. when the nozzle is depressed the bottle dispenses an orange smelling fluid, that foams a little.

The five areas it says it should tackle, are listed on the front, and seem a good place to start.

      1. Removes soap scum -

Well until recently I used only shower gel, and shampoo in my bath. However my partner when he moved in did on fact bring his nasty soap habit with him. Until then the product coped well with all of my bathroom cleaning needs - however soap really does lave scum on the bath, and requires a lot of scrubbing to clean off.. Personally I feel it works, if you add a lot of elbow grease - but there are better products out there...

      2 & 3. Disinfects - and fresh scent -

I have to admit I have never swabbed my bathroom. It leaves a nice smell behind it, and I haven't suffered any more tummy upsets or anything since using it, so this probably does do as it claims (as long as it is used regularly and properly).

      4. Shine -

Well it does after use leave my bathroom nice and shiny - but no more so than other products... I have to admit also I but this down to how well it has been cleaned to be honest...

      5. Quick and easy -

Well as my bathroom is possibly the smallest room in the house it doesn't tend to take too long to clean... I like to spray this all over the surfaces to be cleaned to allow it to soak, and soften the dirt that is there...

I have to admit that I find it difficult to see how it being quick and easy to use is one of the five ways that it helps me t clean.... Overall I do feel it's a relatively good bathroom cleaner, however to be honest I think I'll stick to using bathroom foam, as they do more of the work for me quicker.

I paid £1 for this on an offer at ASDA and feel it was worth that, but I wouldn't buy this full price, as it just doesn't cut through soap scum easily enough. It gets two stars from me, and I can't really recommend it...

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Cleans and smells lovely

Im not completely loyal to a partcular brand when it comes to cleaning products.I normally go with whats on offer at the time, but there are afew that I tend to gravitate to when it comes to products to clean my bathroom and toilet, and this is one of them. When its on offer in the supermarket, or I have bought it from a discount store such as Quality Save, B&M, i normally can pick it up for a £1.00 which I did on this occasion, for a 500ml bottle.

      What is this product?

Its a cleaning product, in the form of a spray, designed for the bathroom and toilet areas. Its supposed to have 5 different actions to it:

      1. Removes soap scum and hard to shift grime.
      2. Kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on hard surfaces.
      3. Leaves a fragrance in the area cleaned.
      4. Leaves surface shiny.
      5. Quick and easy to use.

      How is it packaged?

The look of this is different to the picture here on Dooyoo, but the one I have come sin an orange 500ml bottle. The label on the front has a picture of a bathroom suite on it and above ' Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toliet 5 in 1 ' wrtten on it. Above that is the Mr Muscle man (not hunky enough for my liking! ) and it also mentions the 5 different aspects of cleaning the product does.

On the back, it shows the ingredients, warnings, where you can use product and how, what the product does and company contact details.

The bottle has a trigger spray applicator to for ease of use that can be turned on and off by turning the end of the spray.

      How do you use?

Spray on surface and wipe clean. If you want to kill bacteria and viruses spray on surface and leave for 15 minutes then wipe clean.

      Warnings

Avoid prolonged contact with certain materials such as wood. Keep out of the reach of children.Avoid contact with eyes. Do not breathe spray.

      Ingredients

Contains less than 5%non ionic surfactants. Also contains disinfectant, perfume, limonene.

So what do I think of this product?

Its very easy to use.Just spray on the surface and go.The thing that strikes me the most is the amazing citrus smell that you get when you use the product. Its zingy, fresh and leaves the whole bathroom smelling sweetly for a good while once used.It makes a pleasant change to smell a product for my bathroom that smells of orange rather than lemon or bog standard harsh bleach type fragrance.

The product cleans very well. To be honest, the bath doesnt really get that dirty ( this is what i use the product on rather then the toilet or basin ), so I dont feel I have to work hard to get any dirt off. I wouldnt quite say it makes my bath ' shine ' as suggested on the product, as most baths will anyway because of what its made out of, but overall Im pleased with its performance, love the smell and feel that considering I have to use it more than once a day ( and I am very generous with how much I use ), it last quite some time.

Would I buy again?Yes I would. The smell has enticed me more than anything else.It does what it says on the bottle.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

It cleans well but I won't buy it any more because of the spray

I have used a fair few of the Mr Muscle range over the years and generally found them to be very good so it was natural for me to try this one.

It is a very good cleaner and I have used it in my bath and sinks as well as on my tiles. It cleans efficiently and doesn't leave streaks which pleases me as I hate streaks.

The smell of this product isn't too over-bearing either which is always a nice surprise. It has a decent, clean smell but isn't so strong that I have a headache before I have finished cleaning.

The size and shape of the bottle and the ease of using the spray and turning the spray on and off are what you would expect.

The only problem I have with this product is the way the spray comes out. Other products I have used spray a fairly big area each time allowing me to cover the area needed quickly and easily then leave it for a few minutes before cleaning off. This bottle however sprays out what I call a splat of foam rather than a spray. I understand now that this maybe because it is meant to be used on a cloth or sponge which, in my opinion, makes this much loathed job harder than it needs to be. It is also means I tend to use more than I really need to so get through a bottle much quicker than I would like to. For this reason I have stopped buying it.

At a little under £2 in most places it is the price I would expect to pay for this product.

I would recommend it for its cleaning ability but would also point out the problem I have with the spray and why I no longer buy it.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Works well

I hate cleaning, especially the bathroom, but it's one of the rooms I like to keep the cleanest along with the kitchen. I use various lotions and potions to help me make cleaning as quick and easy as possible. I don't stick to any one brand as they are all often found on offer, like this Mr Muscle 5 in 1 bathroom and toilet spray.

This spray is widely available from supermarkets and can often be found in pound shops. It usually costs around the £2 mark, but can be found on offer if you can wait for £1.

Ciao's picture of the spray bottle is a little dated. Mr Muscles bathroom and toilet spray now comes in an orange colour bottle and an updated Mr Muscle, he's now a super cleaning hero! The bottle has the trigger style nozzle with an end that rotates to allow you to turn the trigger on and off, very handy if you have little prying hands around. The neck of the bottle has finger grooves so you have a space to keep your hand around the bottle without dropping it.

The spray is suitable to use on enamel, porcelain and plastic so it would be suitable for pretty much all bathrooms. It is easy to use, just spray it on to the surface and wipe away, then rinse it off. I've found that it does work well, but with more stubborn marks it can be a little more difficult so I tend to spray it on then leave it for a few seconds to get to work deeper into the mark, then wipe away and it does usually work. Sometimes a little more elbow grease is required, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I like to open the windows when I use this Mr Muscle spray, the smell is very chemical and does get up my nose quite a lot. Some cleaning products are masked with some sort of smell along side the chemical smell, but not this one. It just smells off disinfectant too much and does linger some time after using it.

Mr Muscle say that this spray kills 99.9% of germs so it is reassuring to know that the bathroom is getting a good clean. I'm not sure how true to claim is, but it sounds good!

I would recommend this bathroom spray, it works well for the price if it's bought on special offer. The only thing that I don't like is the horrible chemical smell.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      I love the fact it's a 2in1

Contains <5% Non-Ionic Surfactants , also contains Disinfectant, Perfume, Limonene

Mr Muscle bathroom and toilet cleaner is a 5 in 1 anti bacterial concentrated cleaner. It comes in an attractive orange spray bottle with Mr Muscle in large letters and a picture of 'Mr Muscle' on the front. The turning on/off nozzle is easy to use, very easy to spray and gives a generous squirt without much effort. The label tells you everything you need to know about the product ingredients, warnings and directions for use- spray on wait 5 mins wipe off. I've never waited 5 mins though I just put it on and scrub it off.
With a mechanic, a factory worker (that sounds wrong but he's my eldest!!) and teenage boys living here the bathroom gets hammered!! this product really has it's work cut out for it.
I find it works very well without having to use too much, gets rid if soap scum, really cleans the dirty ring in our plastic bath (engine oil ring too) cleans the ceramic sink really quickly and well, this gets particularly filthy as my youngest is doing a lot of painting for Art in school. It leaves everything nice, clean and shiny without having to use a lot of elbow grease.
One of the main reasons for buying this particular cleaner for me is the fact it does the loo as well, again I just squirt in on and wipe it straight off, it does the job and leaves it clean and odour free.
Mr Muscle has a lovely clean citrus smell to it, it's not over bearing and doesn't last long but it takes away the usual bathroom/toilet smells.
I have to use it every day, I'm not sure when I opened my current bottle, but I think it's about 2-3 weeks ago and it's now nearly empty so that's quite good lasting. Obviously if I bought separate toilet and bathroom cleaner it would last longer but I like the fact that I don't have to switch bottles during my cleaning (only the cloth).
Usually £2 for 500ml it is on offer for £1 in Tesco at the moment- bargain.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A great easy to use cleaning product for hygienic bathrooms!

I live in a modern two bed apartment and like to make sure it is always tidy and above all else clean. Although I love to try different cleaning products I am on a tight budget and would rather spend my money on nicer things than cleaning products so am always looking out for ones that will do the job for a good price. Recently whilst shopping in my local tesco express store I spotted the bottles of Mr Muscle bathroom and toilet spray on a price reduction and thought it was too good a bargain to miss.

I purchased a 500ml trigger spray bottle of the bathroom and toilet cleaner for a bargain £0.59!! When I saw the price I thought it must be a mistake but it went through the checkout at the price that was on the shelve so I was very impressed.

The bathroom and toilet cleaner comes in a plastic trigger spray bottle which is the signature bright orange colour like all the other Mr Muscle products. There is a label on the front and back of the bottle which provides you will all the necessary information about the cleaning spray including directions for use, ingredients listings and warnings.

The cleaning spray is citrus fresh fragrance and states it is antibacterial, tough on cleaning and kills H1N1 virus. It says that the spray removes soap scum and also helps to prevent lime scale.

To use the spray you simply need to turn the nozzle to the 'on' position and spray on the surface and leave for 5 minutes before wiping off. It's states on the bottle it is suitable for use on enamel, plastic and porcelain. I have used this spray on all areas of my bathroom and have not had any problems but it is always worth doing a test if you are unsure.

Although I have found this product to be very good with it being quick and easy to apply to surfaces and very easy to rinse off leaving no residue behind, and give good cleaning results leaving surfaces looking bright and shiny I was a little disappointed with the fragrance. To me it does not smell in any way of citrus just chemically. It does leave my bathroom smelling clean but it would have been nice to have a fruity fragrance lingering instead.

Overall this is a good bathroom cleaner which works just as it states it will on the bottle. I would certainly purchase again if I was to spot it on special offer and apart from the unimpressive fragrance would recommend others to try it.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A value for money, efficient bathroom cleaner.

Review of Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet

Mr Muscle is probably one of the best known cleaning product brands around. The products are designed for tackling 'the jobs you hate' to quote their rather irritating TV advertisements! I have used their oven cleaning products before with great success, but had never ventured into the realms of Mr Muscle Bathroom cleaners until my local Tesco Express had a special offer of just £1 for a 500ml bottle. The usual selling price is around £1.49, so I felt it was worth trying at 1/3 off.

      ==The Cleaner==

Made by SC Johnson, this cleaner is designed for use all around the bathroom, including the toilet. The cleaner is presented in an easy to grip trigger spray. The trigger nozzle has the usual twist on and off mechanism and it is very simple to use. The bottle is made of recyclable plastic and is an orange colour, the picture provided by Dooyoo shows the old style packaging. The cleaner has an anti-bacterial formula, making it especially suitable for bathroom cleaning.

The spray can be directed into hard to reach areas and the actual liquid comes out in a mist which in turn froths on contact with hard surfaces. The scent is citrus and fresh, it is very pleasant and lasts quite a long time. We live in a hard water area and lime scale is big problem. Mr Muscle cuts through this in no time at all. It can be used on most bathroom surfaces, I have a plastic shower tray which can be a bit of a nightmare to clean. It is getting on in years, like me(!) and I think the surface is beginning to roughen with age, meaning that soap scum tends to linger longer than usual. Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet makes short work of cleaning the shower tray, bringing it up with a lovely shine. The cleaner has also worked wonders on the shower cubicle door.
Mr Muscle can be safely used on enamel, plastic and porcelain baths and sinks.

To use on any surface, simply spray on and wipe off. Obviously, as with all cleaning products, this should not be ingested and should be kept out of sight and reach of children.

      ==My Thoughts and Conclusion==

I have been most impressed with the cleaner, it is fast and effective, cuts through bathroom grime easily and leaves a super fresh scent. I prefer to use an anti-bacterial cleaner in the bathroom for hygiene reasons and have found that although this is a concentrated and fairly strong cleaner, unlike some other brands I have tried in the past, this does not seem to affect my hands. I do have to be careful as I suffer from occasional flare ups of contact dermatitis.

I was particularly impressed at the way this cleaned my elderly shower tray and the fact that the cleaner does not streak or leave smears on the shower door. We also have a laminated vanity unit surrounding our wash basin which seems to attract the dirt, again Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet cleaner was super effective here.

I cannot sing the praises of this cleaner highly enough, I don't think I'm the sort of person to get excited over a household cleaning product, but if I were, this would be the one!

I would recommend this product to others.

      Thank you for reading

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Overall I love this product

Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet Cleaner Trigger Spray is cheap and works very well in my personal opinion. We have used many Mr Muscle cleaners over the years and this one is just as good as the others.

It is cheap and can be found in Poundland for just £1. It is in a plastic bottle with the usual Mr Muscle logo on the side and instructions for use on the back.

It has a spray nozzle which works well till you get to near the end then the tube inside won't reach the dregs and you cant get the last bits out. The bottle handle is moulded so the fingers can still grip even when wet, which is good in my opinion. It is easy to get the spray to put the liquid exactly where you want it to go and aiming it is very simple.

It works very quickly and after it has been sprayed just wait about thirty seconds then wipe off with a damp cloth. Its also advisable to rinse off afterwards with plain water just so that no scum remains and it leaves the surface which has been sprayed clean and very shiny and sparkling.

The smell is not pleasant and can be irritating so it is best used in a well ventilaited area especially if you suffer from asthma as it will aggrivate the condition and can make you cough a bit _ I tend to always open the bathroom window when I use it in there as the room is so small.

The bottle has 500ml's of liquid and for just £1 a bottle that is great value for money.
It works well at removing soap scum and grime from sinks and baths with minimum effort.

      I would recommend this product.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

This is a very good cleaner that offers up exceptional value but for me not the best out there

We are always bombarded with advertising everywhere we go in life, be it radio or newspaper, billboard or television, we are all told of these amazing new products and some of those adverts stick with you on a subconscious level which is just the case for me when it came to Mr Muscle. Standing in a supermarket and looking at the cleaning products when I remember the old slogan of "Mr Muscle, loves the jobs you hate" I decided to give it a shot when it came to cleaning up the bathroom since I really do hate this job but did it clean like I hoped or was it just clever advertising?

      Pros:
Mr Muscle comes in an easy to use spray bottle so that you can easily manage your use and so cut down on the amount of waste so that each bottle can last you much longer. The bottle also has a handy security lock which is put in place by simply turning the plastic nozzle to the locked position so that this will not be able to be sprayed by anyone in error (great for if you have younger children).
Mr Muscle is a very well known and respected cleaner that offers up a tremendous cleaning power and with this you get a produt that easily cleans away soap scub and grime that build up in our bathrooms. This cleaner is proud to announce that it kills 99.9% of bacteria and virus on hard surfaces and when I have used this I have always felt that my bathroom is very clean so I would trust what they say.
Mr Muscle leaves your bathroom feeling and smelling clean and fresh so that you can have a relaxing bath in a fresh feeling room, not to mention a clean feeling bath.
Mr Muscle is a very well priced product with a 500ml bottle of the bathroom and toilet cleaner only costing around £1 and lasting you for ages so it is a very good product for those who like a bargain.

      Negatives:
Does not leave my bathroom with that squeeky clean feel I have found with Flash.

Overall I do like Mr Muscle but would opt for Flash bathroom spray over it due to the fact I feel Flash leaves things just that little bit cleaner. The cleaning spray is easy to apply and does get things clean with little scrubbing which is what you are looking for in a product like this. The price is very impressive and is somewhat cheaper than the Flash version that I prefer so this does even things out somewhat when it comes to recommendations but for me I will keep paying that little bit more for the squeeky clean feel given by Flash.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A great bathroom cleaner!

Cleaning the bathroom is no fun task and not one that I particularly look forward to (does anyone?!) For this reason I am always on the lookout for products that will clean quickly and make my life easier in this respect. For the last year or so we've been using Mr Muscle bathroom and toilet cleaner to clean the tub, sink and tiles in our bathroom.

The product can be found in the cleaning product aisle of most supermarkets. It is housed in a bright orange bottle, which makes it stand out from the crowd. (I must point out that the packaging now differs from the dooyoo picture). Each bottle contains 500ml of cleaner and is priced at around £1.60, though it is frequently on offer, which is when I tend to stock up. The front label clearly states what the product is designed to do. It has anti-bacterial qualities - definitely something good for the bathroom! It claims to be able to kill bacteria and viruses on hard, non-porous surfaces and appears to have been re-formulated recently so that it now can kill the H1N1 virus. The product has a tough cleaning action to remove soap scum and to tackle bathroom grime fast and effectively, leaving bathroom surfaces sparkling clean and also helps to prevent limescale. A lot of claims for one product - so how does it fare?

The cleaner is dispensed through a nozzle at the top which is activated through a trigger. The nozzle has an on-off safety feature so that the product is not dispensed when not in use - useful to prevent wastage but also to prevent young children accidentally spraying some of this. I use a couple of squirts of this on my hand-basin and probably around 5 squirts on my bathtub and tiles. The product comes out as a thin bubbly liquid and has a pleasant citrus smell to it. I wipe the sink with a damp cloth, rubbing gently as I go so that the product covers the entire surface including the taps. I then rinse the sink with warm water to remove all remains of the cleaner. For disinfecting areas it is recommended that the product is allowed to remain on the surface for 5 minutes before being rinsed off.

Some cleaners I have used in the past tend to leave some residue lining the surface of the basin/tub/tiles. This is a little annoying as it means more effort on my part to scrub this down and remove it. I was therefore pleased to note that Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner did not cling to the surfaces or leave any residue and was extremely easy to wash off. My bathroom was left gleaming and all traces of scum, grease and dirt had been wiped away! I live in a hard water area, which means that taps and surfaces can be prone to limescale. I tend to keep on top of this by using a limescale remover every couple of weeks but since using this product I have noticed that I don't really need to use it so often.

The cleaner is quite versatile and is suitable for use on wash basins, tiles, taps, bath and shower areas and toilet areas. Whilst I have used it on all bath areas I have been reluctant to use this in the toilet simply because I prefer to use a product that has been specifically formulated for use in that area. As the product is quite runny I personally think this won't be quite as effective as a thicker, bleach based
      product.

Overall I am quite impressed with this cleaner. It is cheap and easy to use and leaves my bathroom gleaming. Recommended!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A great cleaner

Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet Cleaner is one of my favourite household products. My bathroom and kitchen are the two rooms in the house that I like to keep as spotless as possible so it means cleaning them quite a lot.

Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet Cleaner comes in a quite clinical white plastic bottle with a spray top. The neck of the bottle has little ridges all of the way down which makes it extremely easy to keep a hold of once your hands are wet from cleaning. This also makes it less likely for the bottle to slip out of your hands at the same time. The nozzle has different settings (on/ off) which is a great thing as if you are moving the bottle, you can set it so you don't accidentally spray it. On the front of the bottle is all the product information you will need, like the fact this this can be used on plastic, porcelain and enamel bathroom furniture, as well as the Mr Muscle brand logo.

The reason that this is one of my favourite household products is because of how well it works. The spray nozzle and trigger system is really easy to use and I have never found any problems with this. With each spray, a stream of the cleaner is released on to the surface of wherever you are spraying it. While a good amount is released, it isn't a lot so to cover my bath or the tiles surrounding it, I do need to spray it a good few times to make sure I have enough to clean with. As three of us share the bathroom and do use it a lot, the tiles and bath get quite grimy and there can sometimes be left over shampoo, shower gel etc all over the place so it really does take some cleaning.

I always leave this on the walls or the bath for about 10 minutes before going back to wipe it off and to actually clean anything. I think that this gives the product enough time to work and this way, I never really have to scrub anything. When I moved in to my flat, there were dark marks on the tiling as well as some mildew but with this cleaner, it was gone in a matter of minutes. All I had to do was wipe the tiles and the black came straight off on my cloth. I was so glad to not have to scrub anything and was surprised at how easily this cleaned my bathroom. As for the bath, I don't even need to wipe it. All I have ever needed to do was to rinse off with the shower head and my bath is sparkly and white again!

The main problem with this product is the smell. I know cleaners do have a lot of chemicals in them but some are able to mask this a little bit but unfortunately, this one doesn't manage that at all. My bathroom doesn't have any windows, only two extractor fans so if I am in there cleaning for sometime, the smell really begins to give me a headache. I do have to clean with the door open and both extractor fans on just to try and get rid of some of the smell but it doesn't work too well. The smell lingers hours after cleaning the bathroom and because of this, we have to keep the door open for as long as possible.

A 500ml bottle will cost you somewhere between £1 and £2 depending on where you buy it from. It is available in all good supermarkets as well as sometimes being found in pound shops. Even though I cant stand the smell of this product, it does the job too well to even care. I don't think I'll ever use a different cleaner now.

        a good bathroom cleaner

i have recently started my own cleaning business. I am one of these woman who loves cleaning and now my little one is at school i figured i that i now had the time to earn some extra pennies. Therefore i started my own cleaning business last month. It started by cleaning for a couple of friends and i have also found new clients through recommendations. I ask my clients to provide the cleaning products in order to try and reduce the fee i charge so i have already come across all sorts of cleaning products which i love, sad i know.

The bottle i was given to use was a bright orange bottle, rather that the white bottle shown on this page. This is supposed to stand for the citrus fragrance of the product. The bottle is 500ml in size and is the usual standard spray bottle shape and tescos website informs me it costs around £1.50. The bottle has all the instruction for using it to clean wash basins, baths, tiles, showers and toilets, and claims to kill bacteria, prevent limescale and remove bathroom scum.
Using this product is relatively simple. It has the child lock nozzle which you need to turn to the on positon to allow the spray to work. Then i just sprayed all the surfaces and left it to work for a few minutes. The spray allows good coverage of the area to clean and comes out in a white liquid which fizzes on contact. The smell. Well it didn't smell so much of the claimed citrus, just a strong bleachy/disinfectant smell. I always open the window when using these products because they get quite overpowering. The bathroom i was cleaning was relatively clean anyway although some soap scum had formed around the wash basin, and water line had developed around the bath. I found that this cleaner was effective at removing both those. A quick wipe with a wet cloth and the soap scum and water line were gone without too much effort, which i guess i what you are looking for when doing the dreaded bathroom cleaning! I wouldn't recommend it for shower screens, i would use a glass cleaner for that. The loo i just wipe around with loo paper to the flush handle, the seat and the outside. I wouldn't recommend for cleaning down the bowl. It doesn't cling to the rim so thats where a toilet cleaner or bleach is required.

Overall i would definitely recommend this product. It removes bathroom scum effortlessly and kills bacteria. The bottle contains disinfectant so you can be sure as possible that bacteria are indeed killed. The only gripe i have with this product is the harsh smell, especially when its branded being a citrus fragrance, when in fact it just smells of bleach. ..

        Awesome cleaning in seconds!

        Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet:

I've used Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet for quite a while now but recently the other half bought Flash with Fabreeze which I hated. It's only now I have my trusty Mr Muscle back that I realise just how good it is!

Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet comes in a functional white plastic spray bottle. The neck is well designed and shaped like a pistol grip, {moulded to the shape of your fingers}, and textured so it is easy to hold with wet hands. The on/off function on the spray nozzle is easy to turn and actually works really well letting nothing out when in the off position and providing a nice fine spray when on. You get all the usual information on the labels along with a picture of the new Super-Hero style Mr Muscle.

Now I know a lot of people like their cleaning products to smell "nice" - Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet smells horrible. It has a very chemical scent which is quite similar, although a lot milder, than their oven cleaner. If used in a small space I would definitely recommend that you open a window before using it.

I guess you might be wondering why I love it so much when it smells so bad - the simple answer is that it works better than anything else I have ever used! I've used this stuff in some fairly rank student bathrooms which is where I realised how awesome it is and have been using it ever since. When applied to soap scum it just dissolves it in seconds, no matter how bad it is. I literally spray it on the filth, rub and rinse for sparkling clean porcelain in no time. It works miracles on taps too, a light spray and rinse reveals super shiny taps and it tackles any kind of tide mark with absolute ease, a must for any girl who loves Lush.

Knowing how easy it makes cleaning even the most disgusting bathrooms I have taken to trying it where other cleaners fail including on uPVC, garden furniture, mould stains and black rubber marks on walls all with fantastic results.

I can't really say how good this stuff is but I wouldn't to be without and the horrible smell is a tiny price to pay for such great results.

A 500ml bottle costs around the £1.50 mark but it is sometimes available in Pound Shops and is often on special offer.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

Stock up whilst on special offer.

I made the mistake of buying and installing a shower which is really difficult to clean. Beforehand I was used to cleaning a bath which is much smoother and all one shape, and then along came my shower with all its nooks and crannies, and things became a bit harder. I soon learnt that daily maintenance might make my weekly clean a little harder and the build up a bit less so. I searched the shelves of Tesco high and low. The name Mr Muscle is so well known, and so out there that I decided to go with something that I just knew would work.

An extra bonus was that this cleaner was quite cheap, it was £1.57 at the time, but I have since seen that Tesco's have it on special offer for only £1 I doubt you can get it much cheaper in any other shops. The bottle is 500ml. It is white plastic, with a trigger spray. (Not an aerosol, so better for the environment). The area round the top is moulded to make it nice and easy to hold, even with your wet cleaning gloves on. On the end of the nozzle is a plastic square which you can turn. One way doesn't allow for any spray to be dispensed, and the other way does. This is a safety mechanism, so small children cannot get their hands on the chemicals. It is also very useful incase your dropped it or it go knocked in your cupboard. You do not want it spraying in random places.

The cleaner itself is nice and easy to dispense in the desired areas. I use it all over my shower floor after I have a shower, to prevent the limescale build up. I give it three or four big sprays, then dry myself and then give it a quick rinse. I do that every single time I have a shower, and then once a week I actually do the same thing but scrub afterwards as well. It is really important you rinse well afterwards otherwise the next person to use the shower could end slipping over.

The bathroom wash actually works very well. It stops the daily dirt building up quite so much, and the bits that do are much easier to scrub off after a quick soak in this. I use a toothbrush for the fiddly hard to reach areas.

I would recommend this 100% for only a couple of pounds (if that, if you manage to cash in on a special offer) it makes my life much easier, and you can't put a price on that!
