I HATE a messy and unclean bathroom and it really drives me insane when it isn't looking perfect. For some reason, if you don't keep them really clean you end up with dust in strange places and because of the surface material, it is a little bit of a pain to get rid of it all in one go. I have tried cleaning with regular cloths and a bathroom cleaning spray but it still doesn't always get rid of any dust. One of my friends told me that they use wipes in their bathroom so I decided to give it a try. I ended up buying these Mr Muscle Bathroom Wipes from Poundland as I was there buying something else and they happened to catch my eye. You may all know by now that I am a massive fan of supermarket own brands so to buy a different brand was a little strange for me. However, for the price of £1, I certainly wasn't complaining and would definitely look in Poundland for other good value products from now on instead of always buying from the supermarket. The wipes come in a bright blue packet with the Mr Muscle logo in a bright orange colour. The reason these wipes stood out to me so much is because of the colour so I think this was certainly done right. The packet is very eye catching and also has on it a picture of a sparkly clean bathroom which is of course, what I was aiming for. On the front of the packet is a peel able sticker where if you pull it open, you will find the white wipes inside. This sticker makes getting at the wipes extremely easy and you can also reseal it so the wipes contain their moisture. Inside the packet are 30 extra large wipes. While I don't use these on my bath or shower, I do still use them a lot in the bathroom. I hate seeing dirt on the floor and dust on the top of the toilet and around the top of the sink. These wipes are not very harsh when it comes to cleaning but then I don't think a wipe should ever be that. Wipes should be used for cleaning up small areas of dirt and for nothing too tough to remove. I find these wipes fantastic to use in my bathroom as I can clean our wooden floor with easy and any dirt comes away easily and the floor is left really clean. When I use the wipes on my sink or the top of the toilet, where the most dust seems to collect, it is again, very easily removed with the wipes. With a cloth, you are sometimes left with a little left over dust that refuses to be removed but that is not the case with this product. All I need is one quick sweep over the surface with a cloth and everything comes away really nicely, leaving my surfaces shiny and white like they should be. I wouldn't normally have tried this brand had I gone shopping at my local supermarket as I would have tried their own brand but I am really glad I did. Mr Muscle Bathroom Wipes are well worth the money from Poundland but in other places like Wilkinsons they can be found for about £1.69 which I would still happily pay. The wipes do exactly what they should do and they do it really well. I find that a packet of these wipes lasts about a couple of months as I do clean the bathroom a few times a week and I still think that its fantastic value for money.
Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet Wipes. These are such a worthwhile buy, having these to hand in the bathroom are such a god send, they come in an easy to open packet, with Mr Muscle clearly written on the front showing a picture of a bathroom sink toilet and bath. I like them because they are easy to pull out, smell nice, and are easy to use. Having a whole load of ever lasting visitors, mostly my grandchildren to my bathroom, I find these wipes are handy for wiping over the toilet seat and wiping their splashes and accidents off the bathroom floor, safe in the knowledge that they are also an anti-bacterial wipe so are leaving the surfaces safe and germ free. Ive also used them to wipe around the sink and the areas where splashes of water occur. i use a sponge to wash themore stubbon stains off the bath and sink like blobbs of toothpaste etc, but as i mentioned the wipes are great for lifes minor splashes. Their is a pull open slot and you simply pull a wipe out when required, i like the fact that their seal sticky bit, does infact stay sealed when you reseal it, so that the wipes stay moist and dont dry out. The smells really nice and fresh, and i love the fresh smell. I got mine in poundland, but they usually retail around the £1.75 pence for a packet containing 30-40,wipes. I think these are a good buy and handy to keep in the bathroom. I keep a packet in the downstairs cloakroom on the side.
==Mr Muscle Bathroom Wipes== I love to keep a clean home and I find the bathroom is the place the I like to keep the cleanest. However it is also the room which I least enjoy doing as the floor always needs getting down on my hands and knees to give a good going over and the bath and sink always need a good hard scrub. I had been using a sponge and a bathroom type of spray and I still do for the bath and sink but I find that a cloth and spray really doesn't get the dust and dirt off from the floor like a wet wipe does. I was trying to steer away from using these as much as I previously was just because of the fact I don't like the thought of them sitting in landfill so I have been using them less and less but I find I really need to use them to get a good finish on the floor and its always nice to wipe the toilet over knowing it will be nice and germ free. These particular wipes are not necessarily my wipes of choice but to be fair I find that any pack I can get from £1 or under is usually snapped up. These were in Poundland the other week so I decided to pick up a pack and give them a go. I think they usually stock the Flash wipes and these have been serving me well for the past few months. The Mr Muscle wipes come in a pack that is instantly recognisable as a Mr Muscle product because of the fact that there is a picture of the "Mr Muscle" on the front. This is good because Jack knows that these are not his baby wipes and doesn't try and wipe over his face with them if I happen to leave them in reach. The packing is good at keeping the wipes moist and I always seem to be able to just pull out one wipe at a time which is always a bonus. The wipes themselves are a good size and a pack contains 30 individual wipes and they have an anti-bacterial agent in them so that you know you are giving your toilet and bathroom a really good clean and leaving no germs lurking around. The wipes are not overly tough and this is why I tend to use a light weight scouring sponge for the bath and sink to make sure all the marks of toothpaste and the like are removed. For the floor however these wipes are able to pick up all the dust and dirt and make sure it clings to the wipe and then I can just throw it in the bin rather than keep spreading it round the floor as I am cleaning which is what would happen were I to use a cloth and spray. The wipes are of a good wetness and although perhaps not as damp as a Flash wipe they are wet enough to be able to clean the areas that I need well and not leave them sopping wet or sticky. There is no horrible residue that is left after using these wipes and the finished cleaned area always looks lovely and sparkly. All in all I really cannot fault these wipes for the price I paid. I can't say that I would want to pay the RRP of £1.79p and I would always get them either when they are on a special offer or if they are in Poundland. They do the job I need them to do and they seem to last a fairly good time as I am only using them a couple of times per week on the floor and toilet bowl. I have nothing negative to say about them and I would be more than happy to continue to purchase them for this price. I think a top score of 5 out of 5 stars is in order and a high recommendation. I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you Many thanks for taking the time to read.
For the bathroom bath/shower and baisin area, I generally prefer to use spray cleaners with a sponge. However, for the loo, I don't like the idea of using the same sponge again the next time and of course, constantly buying new sponges would get costly so I use wipes for the loo area. I have used different wipes in the past but these are my current favourite. I think normally they cost £1-2. I found them for £1 in Poundland and for 40 wipes thought it a fair price. They come in a bright blue pouch with the familiar Mr Muscle orange logo. On the centre, there is a pull of seal that you use to get to the wipes. Lucily, unlike with many of these products, when you reseal the pack it acutally stays closed and sealed so they don't all dry out and become useless so that's a big plus point. These wipes are a good size, large would be fair, and it is okay if you fold them in two to make it a bit thicker as it still has a substantial surface area. They are soaked in a solution of Mr Muscle and water which you can sometimes see trails of but I think it hits the right note between too dry and too wet. As with other wipes, sometimes you just accidentally move the dirt so you have to keep your eyes open and make sure that you really do wipe it all up. They smell nice and fresh, slightly lemony to me. You can then wipe it off with just water, but I just wipe off the surface and throw the wipte in the bin, you cannot flush them down the loo as it may block it.
Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet Wipes are basically designed to make life easier. I don't know about you but I have this real issue with what do I do with this cloth once its cleaned the toilet!? I can't bring myself to put it in the washing basket with clothes even after it has been rinsed out and so it has to go straight in the washing machine which I am still not overly comfortable about and if the washing machine is on then the cloth goes in the bin! Call me wasteful but thats what has to happen! These wipes have seen an end to the days where I through my clothes away because I have issues with them once they have been around the toilet. The wipes come in a sellable packet and can be purchased for a little as £1 from Bargain shops and for £1 you get 30 wipes. The wipes are quite strong and have the Mr Muscle cleaning fluid already on them. The wipes are used for cleaning of course and do a good job on the toilet I pop the wipes in the bin after use I don't flush them because I know baby wipes have a habbit of blocking the loo so I not taking my chances with these! The wipes can also be used to clean the bath and tiles they are alright for this aslong as there isn't to much grime, for the bath I do tend to really stick to other cleaning products and a cloth I don't have so many issues with that. For me I think £1 is worth it for an easy way to clean the loo and this alongside bleach for under the rim does the job just fine for me.
I always thought wipes were a bit of a cheating way to clean, and presumed it would be over priced and a waste of money way to do things, just like some make up remover wipes. A couple of friends had recommended these and it wasn't until I saw them in poundland for £1 (obviously!) that I thought I would give them a go. You can't really go wrong for that price. The wipes come in a thick blue plastic pack with a peal on and off sticky clear piece, this guards a hole which the wipes come out of. The clear piece of plastic sticks back down and acts to reseal the wipes. It is important to make sure you get full 'stickiness' each time you re seal them, as if you don't the wipes will dry out and then they are completely useless. Inside are thirty wipes. The wipes are like thick tissue, which is damp with the product which does the cleaning. The wipes smell of a chemical clean smell, but are not over powering like some of the sprays are. The idea is with the wipes is that you rub these onto the surface you want to clean, such as the toilet seat, the bathroom sink, the bath etc. It removes general dirt and freshens things up. If these are used regularly, life will be easier. If you haven't cleaned things for a long time life will be harder. I really do feel these are more of a regular maintenance thing rather than a once a week deep clean. The advantages to this product are that they really are so convenient, so easy to use, and make cleaning the bathroom much easier. You don't even really have to set the time apart to do it, you can just do it in a spare five seconds after you have cleaned your teeth. The disadvantages to this product are that it is harder to get rid of the real stuck on grime, like lime scale on your taps etc. For these tougher things you still need a spray on product as you need to let things soak and then give them a good scrub with something rough, but that really isn't what these wipes are designed for. For a pound, these things are essential to make your life much easier. Stock up at the poundland.
The Mr Muscle brand is one that is synonymous with keeping things clean and quality made products. Bathrooms are very hard to keep clean, especially when you have nooks and crannies and plenty of white, shiny parts such as the bath, sink and toilet, where any kind of muck shows very clearly. Traditional cleaning is a fundamental part, but to do this every time you want to give your bathroom a quick once over can be a bit of a military operation. Mr Muscle have this handy little packet of wipes, which can leave things looking and smelling fresh, with a promise of killing bacteria and leaving things properly clean and not just visibly. A packet gives you a good, thick wadge of the wipes, each one of them being a small square, folded with an edge in the middle on the top to make it easy for you to get out of the pack. You access the pack at the middle of the top flat surface, via a sticky flap that is resealable. This is very good, as it means you can retain the moist quality to the wipes. Once they dry out, they're nowhere near as good. They have a slightly soapy feel to them, which doesn't mean that they're going to bubble and leave huge foam residue, but it does seem to indicate that they haven't scrimped on the antibacterial cleansing element in them, and it's not just a wet wipe! Using them is easy, just wipe the surface you want to clean. I find them very handy for doing a once over around the various surfaces in the bathroom, especially the toilet, as it also leaves a fresh smell. This is particularly handy when you have kids who can miss when going to the toilet. There's nothing worse than having a downstairs bathroom that smells and it's the first thing you notice when you walk in the house. Now we use these, the first smell that greets us is a lot nicer. In terms of aroma, they're not so much a citrus smell as a generally clean and fresh smell. It lasts as well, and even after a number of hours, it's still lovely and fresh. Now, we find that giving the bathroom just a quick once over with the wipes every other day is more than enough to keep things smelling lovely and fresh, as long as we make sure it gets a proper clean from time to time. The wipes are quite durable as well. If whatever you're cleaning is particularly dirty, you can still use these, but I'd suggest it would be better to give it a proper clean and then use these as a finishing touch. Otherwise, you'll be picking up the dirt, but also shifting some of it around, as it may not retain it as well as something like an absorbent cloth or toilet roll or kitchen roll would. These wipes aren't designed to soak up dirt and liquid - they're more for a finishing touch or cleaning slightly dirty areas. Anything more than this, and use other cleaning methods. I highly recommend these. They cost us around the £1.40 mark from a local factory store, and have lasted a long time. You get a good, thick wadge of them in the packet, and the resealable nature means they maintain their moisture. They do the job very well, and while they're not a fix for very dirty areas, they're great finishers and leave things smelling lovely for a long time. They're a great addition, and the packet is practical. Definitely recommended.
This is a review of Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet wipes. I find the bathroom one of the hardest rooms to keep on top of. The minute you clean it, it's dirty again! Why is that? ^^^Why wipes?^^ I always keep a packet of these type of wipes handy in the bathroom as they are quick and convenient and help you keep on top of things with mimimum effort. ^^^Price^^ This was the first time I tried the Mr Muscle wipes, picking them up in Poundland for yes, you guessed it, a whole pound. I expect they are twice that if you buy from the supermarket! ^^^Packaging^^^ The packet has a sticker lid so once you've opened them, you can reseal them too. I always leave mine face down to ensure they are shut as I don't want them drying out in between uses. ^^The claim^^ The packet promises anti-bacterial action and contains 30 strong extra large wipes. It recommends you use them on toilet areas, bath and shower and washbasins. ^^Strong disinfection smell^^^ These wipes have quite a strong smell to them. It's a clean smell though so that's not out of place in a bathroom. ^^Don't dispose down the loo^^ It is not recommended that you dispose of the wipes down a toilet. So please bear this in mind if you have some of these too. ^^Downside^^ The only reason I don't like using these is that they make me feel guilty because they are not good for the environment. I feel the same about kitchen roll too. ^^^Good for occasional use^^^ I think these are a great quick and dirty solution to giving the bathroom a once over but I don't think they totally replace the traditional methods of properly cleaning a bathroom. ^^Makers^^^ These wipes are made by Johnson and Johnson and the Mr Muscle brand is a well trusted 'premium' brand so you trust they will work too. ^^Verdict^^^ Give them a try, they help you to achieve a nice clean and sparkling bathroom in a minimal amount of time.
