I always thought wipes were a bit of a cheating way to clean, and presumed it would be over priced and a waste of money way to do things, just like some make up remover wipes. A couple of friends had recommended these and it wasn't until I saw them in poundland for £1 (obviously!) that I thought I would give them a go. You can't really go wrong for that price.

The wipes come in a thick blue plastic pack with a peal on and off sticky clear piece, this guards a hole which the wipes come out of. The clear piece of plastic sticks back down and acts to reseal the wipes. It is important to make sure you get full 'stickiness' each time you re seal them, as if you don't the wipes will dry out and then they are completely useless.

Inside are thirty wipes. The wipes are like thick tissue, which is damp with the product which does the cleaning. The wipes smell of a chemical clean smell, but are not over powering like some of the sprays are.

The idea is with the wipes is that you rub these onto the surface you want to clean, such as the toilet seat, the bathroom sink, the bath etc. It removes general dirt and freshens things up. If these are used regularly, life will be easier. If you haven't cleaned things for a long time life will be harder. I really do feel these are more of a regular maintenance thing rather than a once a week deep clean.

The advantages to this product are that they really are so convenient, so easy to use, and make cleaning the bathroom much easier. You don't even really have to set the time apart to do it, you can just do it in a spare five seconds after you have cleaned your teeth.

The disadvantages to this product are that it is harder to get rid of the real stuck on grime, like lime scale on your taps etc. For these tougher things you still need a spray on product as you need to let things soak and then give them a good scrub with something rough, but that really isn't what these wipes are designed for.
