I have bought a few products over the years from the Mr Muscle range and found they clean really well for cleaning my home. I do love cleaning but I do like a product to work well otherwise it can be annoying going over the same area twice. I hadn't bought these wipes before so thought I would give them a go.
They come in a plastic wrapper with the name clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on the shelf. These stand out a little more because the colour is orange. There is a plastic pull back strip which seals the wipes inside the packet to keep them nice and moist and not drying the wipes.
The wipes are quite thick ones and are thicker than I imagined they would be. They are very easy to take from the packet without having to remove a ton of the wipes. They have a nice smell of orange scent to them which is fairly strong but not overpowering. They have a nice fresh citrus scent to them and a really nice pleasant aroma. They are quite moist wipes but not dripping wet and they have a good moisture to them.
They glide across surfaces really well and pick up any dirt on the floor. The dirt simply attaches to the wipes perfectly. They don't smear surfaces and just help remove the dirt really well with little effort needed. You don't need to scrub the floor using these wipes, the wipes do the hard work for you.
I have used them to also clean my tiles in my bathroom and to clean the toilet handle and my door handles. I like to use these wipes for cleaning in between a deep clean and for when I just want to wipe any spillages from water in my bathroom or kitchen. They are ideal for these purposes and saves me having to bring out the mop to clean the floors.
The scent does tend to linger for a while after using them. I can smell the orange fragrance when I have used them in the room some time later, so I would say they do have a lasting scent. It is a pleasant scent on entering the rooms too.
I have a neat and tidy home and it isn't very dirty so these wipes work perfectly. If you are wanting to use them to clean your floors every day I don't think they would be so suitable for this purpose and using a mop would be far better and easier. But for a top up clean and a wipe down they work superbly and do the job perfectly. They are designed to remove grease but I haven't had the need so far to remove grease from my floors. I have used them to clean splashes from cooking and any greasy marks at the back of my hob. The wipes remove the small amount of grease really well without having to scrub the area.
The beauty of these wipes is you don't need to rinse after using them and they leave the surfaces streak free, which is fabulous because I have it when a cleaning product leaves surfaces all streak marked and I have to re clean the surface again to remove it. This doesn't happen with these wipes, so they make cleaning a lot easier.
They contain orange oil which cuts into grease and grime and I think the oil does a good job of cleaning and removing any oily residues on surfaces.
Because they are not really wet wipes the surfaces dry very quickly and almost instantly and so you can walk on the floor if you need to enter the room soon after cleaning the floor.
There are 12 wipes inside the packet and I paid just £2 for them, I think this is a very good price for the work they do for cleaning around the home and I think they are worth the price. The quality is really good too.
I recommend these wipes if you are wanting some which clean really well and have a nice orange scent to them. I don't think you will be disappointed in the way these wipes work for wiping away dirt from your floors and surfaces.
I will buy these wipes again in the future because I quite like them and they clean my home really well.
I give these wipes 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
For all I am queen of all I survey when at Rarr Towers, the fact remains I've not actually seen much of the place in the last year.
Reason being, for commuting to London, said Towers (or, er, town terrace...) are in a town with no direct rail network to London. However, having realised that her only daughter had moved to the Midlands permanently, the amazing Mother Rarr moved from Norfolk to be nearby, and in doing so found a home in a nearby town with a direct rail link. So, it made sense for me to stay with her when working.
In the meantime, my home was occupied by a lodger when I wasn't around, a lovely girl who answered an advert for a room and virtually got a whole house! We had many shared interests, a similar background, a mutual guilty obsession with Made In Chelsea, and had a great time "living" together.
Thing is, Lodger Rarr (version 1.0) had two horses and as anyone who has been around even one would be able to confirm, these animals take up a lot of time. So, between her and her horses and me and commuting, housework wasn't high on the list of priorities for either of it. We weren't slumming it in a sty worse than the stables she kept her horses in, but over a year cumulative dust, scuffs, niggling fixes and all the rest will accumulate.
Then Lodger Rarr v 1.0 announced she'd been offered a flat near her stables, and wanted to take it with winter hay bills on her mind. So I was lodgerless, in desperate need of another one to keep things ticking over financially, and needed to make Rarr Towers look good. Quick.
Queue massive cleaning operation, because when I do hit the housework, it's not so much "How Clean Is Your House?" as "CSI; Housework". I can get quite obsessive, and indeed intrinsic, but in this instance a proper clean needed to be done as efficiently as possible so we could start showing around new potential lodgers.
One thing that made me fall in love with Rarr Towers when I viewed it is that, for a Victorian terrace, the rooms are big, airy and light, not least because certain walls have been removed and the resulting large rooms have been given laminate wood flooring. When scuffed, dull and even mud-stained from winter wellies drying under the radiator, they may be practical but they lose that gleam that makes the rooms seem even bigger, but when polished, swept and shiny, they look fantastic and make the house look warm and welcoming when lit up on autumn evenings. So, they were high on the list of things to spruce up when the big clean commenced, and I purchased a packet of Mr Muscle Floor Wipes in the place of the Asda brand equivalent, that I could have got had I been bothered to walk a bit further in the rain but, er....didn't. So I purchased a packet of these from Wilkinsons and took them home to crack on, hoping they would perform to the standard of the Asda ones, which impressed me quite a bit.
***THAT'S A LOT OF FLOOR SPACE...***
Well, you can use a floor wiping device with these but, ever mindful of when I lost about a stone and a half working as a cleaner four mornings a week through the summer holiday of my college course, I'm not afraid to get down and start using these myself, regardless of a very large living room!
Having swept the floor and hovered, I broke out this packet of wipes and peeled back the seal. Instantly you are presented with nicely moist, pleasantly scented wipes and you can smell the orange oil that the packaging boasts they carry. Despite being be-Marigolded, my hand was able to grasp one and pull it from the packet, and a pleasingly sizable wipe unfolded and was put to work.
Straight away I noticed that, in the first use of these, they are quite moist. I was worried that they would take too long to dry or leave the floor slippery (great way to welcome the new lodger in - with a broken leg!) but I also noticed that the wipes were picking up and holding on to the invisible layer of muck that sweeping and hovering hadn't quite got to, and also the orange oil was doing a great job of cutting through dried up old marks and stains with minimal elbow grease.
One wipe covered quite a pleasing amount of floor before it started to leave dirty marks as I went along, so that was disposed of and I waited to see how long it took to dry. Without the heating on, and with no nearby windows or doors open, this polish dried in about ten minutes. I thought they might be streaky but again, this product dried to a high-quality finish. The floor looked notably healthier than the bit next to it which had yet to be polished, and the overall finish was really pleasing, with not a grubby mark remaining where I had polished.
***WILL I BUY AGAIN?***
Oh definitely! I did like the Asda equivalent to this product, which is cheaper, but this is a great-smelling, high-performing floor wipe and I am really pleased by how it has left the living room floor looking. I find that, for around £2+, 12 wipes in a packet isn't the best value but I would still repurchase if I wanted to do a thorough clean and then maybe maintain that level with a cheaper alternative. But I can't deny the orange oil is a very effective ingredient, the scent is lovely and I am pleased with the performance - the wipes did not once break down in use.
Please note that should you try these yourself, they can be used on laminate, linoleum and tiles but should be thrown away, not flushed.
Thank you for reading!

This is the most wonderful floor cleaner I have ever experienced.
Cleans like magic. Lifts the grease and marks with a wipe and leaves my 'so difficult' black kitchen floor smear free and shining with a lingering Orange Fragrance! Bathroom floors, any floors; one you can rely on to come up trumps every time.
I have a small problem though, for some crazy reason, many of my local large stores have discontinued this excellent line, to my horror; replacing it with their own infrerior products which are not in the same league. I have just recently bought all the packs on the shelf of one store so as not to run out before I can repurchase elsewhere, as they told me that they too are not continuing your magical floors wipes.
Mr. Muscle is the best, Cleaner, fresher than the rest!
Half the effort, Twice the shine, Is the winner every time!
