“ Brand: Mr Sheen / Type: Polish / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
I have always used Mr sheen around the house as I believe it to be the best multi-surface polish on the market. The bottle I have is slightly different from the Dooyoo image, Mine says it has dust trap technology on it, Maybe thats new? anyway, I picked up this product from tesco recently for £1. I had never tried the spring fresh Mr Sheen and have always used the normal bog standard one. I decided to try this to see what it was like and if it was any different!
The product comes in a tall metal cannister which contains 300ml of polish. It is in a pressurised container. The front of the product tells you that it can work on metal, Wood, Glass and Plastic. It is also said to clean, shine, protect and add fragrence. There is also a small image of a flower with the word "springfresh" over the image. The back explains more about the product and gives to instructions on how to use. Simply spray onto the surface with a light film and keep polishing with a soft cloth. All very simple! Overall the packaging stands out and looks good. The bottle is easy to spray and isnt tempermentle like others I have used in the past.
Does it work?:
It works wonders all around my house. I especially like the way it polishes the wood furniture in my living room, it only needs a small amount and a bit of elbow grease and it looks shiny and new. This also works very well with my black plastic tv stand, it gets rid of the dust and makes it look very new and clean. I have never tried it on glass so maybe I should. It also worked very well on metal, I have a metal towel rail in the bathroom and I occasionally give it a polish with Mr Sheen. It is so easy to do. I also love the smell after polishing! It lasts a while and gives that just cleaned smell through out the house. I see this polish as an essential around the house, it is also perfect to use just before you have guests around. I also would say this prvents a large build up of dust. Overall I am very happy with the spring fresh version and much prefer the smell to the other versions.
I would recommend that you get some of this for your homes. It is very easy to use and just helps improve the look of most hard surfaces in the house. It can almost be used anywhere and it is a great price. The bottle lasts me a very long time and is great to have in the cupboard. This gets a huge 5 star rating from me. Best in its market! Thanks very much for reading my review, I hope it helped you out a bit! Josh
We've used Mr Sheen in our house for several years now so there's always one in the cupboard. It's a polish I trust to be effective and one that I'd happily recommend.
Mr Sheen is a very popular brand for household cleaning in terms of polish so it's quite easy to get hold of in stores and supermarkets. This comes in a red canister with 'Mr Sheen' clearly recognisable near the top. Its upgraded design incorporates the uses and benefits of the product, which includes the claim that the product 'cleans, shines, protects and fragrances'. This comes in a 'springfresh' scent and uses 'dust trap technology' to work effectively as a polish.
Mr Sheen Multi-Surface is so called because it can be used on various household surfaces, includng metal, wood, glass and plastic. It's designed to give a smear-free shine whilst leaving a fresh polish scent and surfaces spotless. It does this by way of it's 'unique forumula' that they describe as acting like '1000's of tiny magnets, attracting hidden nasties with every spray'.
To use, shake well first. Then, holding the can roughly upright, spray approximately 23cm / 9" away from the design surface. You can then take your duster / soft cloth to it immediately to polish over the light spray that's on the surface. Alternatively, perhaps for more difficult surfaces or nooks and crannies, you can spray some Mr Sheen directly on to the cloth and rub over the desired area.
I find this spray to be very easy to use and the lid helps keep it mess free. The push-down spray mechanism works well to provide a strong-enough spray providing it has been shaken well first. When using on wood, Mr Sheen does work well to clean away dust and cup rings, and a little extra 'elbow grease' gets rid of various marks on glass/metal too. I do tend to use this, and consider it best for, wood surfaces, but it is multi-purpose and it does work well on the other surfaces it claims to.
Because of its versatile use on different bits and pieces of furniture around the house, consider this to be good value for money. Not overly much is needed to get a good clean either. It's great for a quick dust over surfaces because it's so easy to use and I find it does leave surfaces with a shine and no streaks or smears, which makes me happy! It also leaves a scent that I find difficult to describe, but it's very recognisable. It's not overpowering, but it is noticeable and reminds me of 'clean' and 'fresh'.
It is, however, noted on the canister that the spray is not suitable for waxed wooden or unsealed surfaces, and they recommend checking with a furniture specialist first before use on fine antique pieces. This doesn't really bother me as I would expect that, and it doesn't really limit my use of the product much if at all. It should also be noted that this is highly flammable, even though that's probably quite obvious.
Overall this is definitely a product I'd recommend to freshen surfaces, clean furniture and get rid of dust to leave a shine quickly and easily.
300ml retails for around £1.33 (Tesco). Also available in other scents, ncluding Original, Citrus and Magnolia.
