I have been lucky enough to recently sell my house, unfortunately the oven was built in and is always my worst domestic chore to do in the house. I have tried many oven cleaners in a bid to find one that works with little effort from me. Atthe time of needing to clean my oven for the new owners Ovenpride was new to my supermarket and on promotion at a reduced price (think it was on offer at £3.50), the package sounded attractive and made it sound easy to use. The product involves using a large plastic bag with plastic zipper across the top which you put your oven racks in and apply half of the solution, you seal the bag and leave to soak, I left mine overnight but you can leave it less. The rest of the bottle you pour inside your oven and leave to soak. When I removed the racks they barely needed any cleaning (and they were bad before I put them in) and most of the built up grease etc just rinsed off with hot water , they almost looked brand new. The oven itself did come up really clean but took quite a lot of rinsing and wiping to remove the product completely. I would definately use this product again even if it is only to use on the racks.
