I think there is far more to life then having to spend all your time cleaning up. Therefore I love anything which makes the housework that little bit quicker and easier to do.
The sainsbury's antibacterial all-purpose wipes are absolutely fantastic, a real time-saver. I tend to buy the lavender and the lemon as these are my two favourite fragrances. The lemon leaves the house smelling fresh and clean whilst the lavender leaves the house smelling beautifully floral.
The wipes are supposed to be able to kill 99.9% of all bacteria which is a real comfort and they can be used on all sorts of surfaces. I use them in the kitchen, in the bathroom and even to clean our flat screen tv in the kitchen, which tends to get a bit greasy due to the cooking, and they do not damage the tv at all. They are great on stainless steel and leave it nice and shiny. The wipes remove all traces of dirt and grease, leaving your kitchen surfaces squeaky clean and your loo, nice and fresh. The only thing they don't get rid of if you live in a hard water area is limescale, so you do need to give your taps a good clean with a proper limescale remover every now and again.
The wipes come in really handy packaging, and they are easy to remove from the packet without pulling all the rest out, and the packaging reseals so that the wipes do not dry out. The packaging is bright and attractive and I have no problem with keeping a pack displayed on the back of the loo infront of visitors.
As for the price they are between £0.94 and £1.00 for a pack of 40 which I think is great value for money and much cheaper then some of the branded products unless they happen to be on offer.
All in all I give the Sainsbury's Antibacterial All Purpose Wipes a 9/10, because they are handy to have around the house, clean really well and are gentle on all surfaces. I mark them down slightly because they are not quite man enough to remove limescale but all in all, a great value purchase.
Sainsbury's Lavender Antibacterial Wipes

What do I think?
My mum uses cleaning wipes like mad, and with these I'm sure she loves them to bits. They're quite cheap, about 95p for a pack of 40 and they are so easy and convenient to use. As soon as my mum drops or spills something, she immediately whips these out, so we go through so many packs of these. I've used these myself and they are very handy, there no need to fuss over finding a spare cloth, rinsing it out then applying it and then having to wash it again, hang it up to dry etc. With these, you just take one, clean what you need and throw it away, simple, hassle free cleaning.
However, I do find these cloths a bit on the thin side, I personally find that I often have to fold it up just to double it up, so they can feel a bit flimsy especially if you need to do a 'big' cleaning job, otherwise you end up using up half the pack just for that one clean. The size of each cloth is okay, just big enough so I can fold and double it up, please do them a bit thicker(!).
The lavender scent from these is quite mild, it's not really noticeable but when you are aware of it, it smells okay fro a lavender scent, none of that 'fake' artificial chemical smell that you get with some cleaning products.
I have quite sensitive dry hands, so as with other cleaning wipes, I also get the same problem where, if I've been using these with my bare fingers, then the next day, the skin areas that have come into contact with the wipe feel dry and flaky. So I would recommend those with sensitive skin to wear gloves when using these, it's a bit of a hassle especially if you're just doing a quick wipe but definitely wear the gloves if you're going to be holding these for a certain amount of time during the cleaning.
Brilliant handy wipes, just not so nice for those with sensitive skin.
Thanks for reading.
I am a big fan of quick and easy cleaning. These wipes are a great way to hygienically clean your surfaces and not have to worry about cleaning out a cloth or finding somewhere to store a wet cloth until it's dry.
Once you have finished your cleaning task just pop this wipe in the bin and look at how nice and clean your home looks.
I purchased these lavender antibacterial wipes from Sainsbury's pried at around the 90pence mark for a pack or 40 wipes, working out to be around 2p per wipe. This is a great cheap way to clean your home.
The wipes them self are a generous size and one wipe cleans all my surfaces in my kitchen. I do have a very small kitchen though, so you may need to use more is you live in a huge house rather than a tiny flat. They are also very thick and won't split when you scrub a stubborn mark on the worktop. The wipes are nice moist.
On the front of the packet there is a sticky tab which enables you to access the wipes, make sure you stick this down properly so that the wipes don't become dry. This happened to me as I didn't stick it down properly, but a quick rinse under warm water made the wipe usable again.
These wipes really can be used on anything, I have a glass TV stand which my two year old loves to put her sticky little fingers all over. This is where these wipes really come in handy. With one wipe cross the glass the marks are gone and the glass is gleaming.
They are scent with the sweet smell of lavender and as you clean they will fill your room with this lovely scent. The scent isn't over powering but makes everything smell fresh and clean.
Overall these are a quick and convenient way to clean your home. Especially if you have a unexpected guest turn up, a quick wipe round and your home will smell and look fantastic.
A couple of weeks ago I was sent out of my house shopping for the day. At the time I wasn't really sure why I was but when I got back my parents had hired a machine to wash my bedroom carpet and ordered me a new bed and things like that. My bedroom was a total palace and looked amazing when I returned home.
I've always kept my room clean but not really tidy so now I'm on top of things! Basically I spotted these in my local Sainsbury's store and I'm a great fan of the fragrance of Lavender so decided that I'd purchase these costing 89p a packet for a whopping 40 wipes to try out really. These are really designed to use in kitchens and bathrooms but me, well I wanted them to wipe over some of my furniture and window sills and things like that and loved the idea of using them and binning them!
Long lavender coloured plastic packet with a lift off flap on the front of it. On that flap I'm told they are Sainsbury's 'New' Antibacterial Lavender Wipes 'Kills 99.9% of bacteria including E.Coli, Listeria and Salmonella and I'm told they protect for up to 12 hours and that the packet contains 40 wipes of course. On the back of the packet directions for use are given, warnings and ingredients are listed, and contact details for Sainsbury's are given. Nice easy to use resealable packet this is and all round it looks great!
Well the wipes themselves are white, oblong in shape with a large width to them and incredibly strong and rather thick and raised with a pattern to one side of them slightly. They are infused with a wonderful and natural aroma of lavender that really is authentic and fragrant though not overpowering or sickly or anything like that.
These are phenomenal and I think they're fabulous! 40 large wipes that not only don't irritate my skin and are lovely smelling and easy to dispose of they really do clean with complete ease! I have used mine in the bedroom and around the bath and sink after I've used it and in the kitchen, on the worktops when I've cooked and they make cleaning almost pleasurable!
They just basically absorb liquid and they are not wet themselves, only like a decent brand of wet wipes and kind of damp and they remove grease, dirt and grime with incredible ease without soaking anything they shouldn't or wiping a mess about. The wipes don't tear or fray even when your scrubbing at something and they leave no residue and only fragrance behind them. I did think the wipes wouldn't work out economical but I was very wrong about that. I use one wipe to wipe over surfaces in my bedroom, one wipe in the bathroom and so on because they work so well and grip hold of rubbish so well. None greasy and leave a wonderful fresh aroma in my home I shall buy these again and again I'm sure!
Only available in Sainsbury's stores.
